Story of two young lovers, Clara and Johnson. Johnson was from a rich family while Clara wasn't. Theyoved each other very much, but Johnson family rejected Clara with reason that they were no match, and because she couldn't conceive for twelve years in their marriage. They imposed a princess on her husband and pushed Clara away. Before she left, she cursed the land. The princess gave birth but her baby died and she had womb complication that made her unable to conceive again. When Clara left, she didn't know that she was with a child. She went to a far city. Coincidentally, Johnson met her again in another city when he travelled on a business trip, but she pretentiously changed her identity and Johnson couldn't recognize her because she was also heavily pregnant. They exchanged contacts and became friends until she put to bed in the same city. She later reviewed her identity to Johnson and they reconciled. Before she returned back to her husband again, the land had faced alot of troubles. Then she brought peace. Dora was finally sent away and she was frustrated. But Clara and Jonathan lived together again and had their children. They were blessed beyond measures, and Johnson's family loved her more than ever. Their love passed through several challenges, won and remained strong.
Chapter 1 SECRET BABY LOADING:
Clara returned the next day, Johnson welcomed her warmly but the guilt of his action with Dora kept weighing him down.
The deed was already done and there was nothing he could do about it.
Johnson and Clara then lived every day with less affection as Johnson was unable to get rid of his guilt.
He was always lost in thoughts.
Days went into weeks and to months, he didn't see nor hear from Dora.
He became worried as he had made a terrible mistake and lived in regret everyday.
At exactly 1:22pm on a Wednesday afternoon, as he was busy in the company, his phone rang.
He picked up, and it was Dora calling.
His heart began to race in fear and eager to hear what prompted the call.
Dora-- "Hello Johnson, how are
you today?"
Johnson-- " I am fine and how
may I help you?"
Dora's voice changed, and she began to stammer. "I called to tell you that I am not feeling well and I am pregnant for you" with great trembling in her voice.
Johnson --"What! What did I hear you say?
You know very well that I am a married man, why did you allow such a condition to be?
Do you want to ruin my marriage?"
Dora-started subbing. "But you know it was not intentional, I was carried away by your mesmerizing body build, and couldn't even remember any form of protection at that moment, even though you also were deep in the feeling".
Sobbing highly. "oh! my God, what am I going to do now? I am finished. My parents will not like to hear this, they will surely kill me".
Johnson -" stop crying, the deed is already done, there must be a way out. I love my wife so much and I won't let anything destroy the love we have built for many years.You have to go for an abortion".
Dora-shouted "abortion! oh no! I can't try abortion, I have not done it before, and I learnt it is very risky.What if I lose my life in the process?
I know what to do since you don't want to accept me and your unborn child, your mother must hear this"
The following day, Dora called
Johnson's mother, and broke the news to her and Madam Rose exclaimed in great joy, jubilating round the house and unable to attend to any other thing or person and she hung the call.
Madam Rose later called Dora and invited her for a visit by weekend.
Dora was happy that Johnson's mother welcomed her but sad that Johnson still hadn't accepted the reality.
At night the same day, Madam Rose invited Johnson to her room for a discussion.
Johnson's heart felled into his stomach as he began to suspect that his mother had heard the news
At 9:pm that night, Johnson came over to his mother' room, trembling as he sat down on the couch very close to his mother and greeted.
Madam Rose -- "my son, how are you?" She started.
Johnson -- "I am fine mom, is just that I was very curious when you asked to see me at this time of the night."
Madam Rose -- "my Hero, it's not anything bad, it's good news, but I have to confirm it from you, before we can process other necessary procedures.
Tell me my son, Dora told me she was pregnant for you, and I want to confirm if it were true, before I could call her to come for a meeting.
Are you responsible for the pregnancy?"
Johnson -- "mom, I am yet to confirm it too, because she called me and told me she was pregnant but we have not met so I couldn't ask her some necessary questions to confirm it.
I can remember we had a one night sex and I can't really fathom if that could lead to her being pregnant.
Meanwhile, I have told her to abort it because I wouldn't want anything to ruin my marriage".
Madam Rose -"Abort what?
Anyways, I have told her to come this weekend.
There will be a meeting among the three of us since your father is late. He would have been in a better position to solve this problem, but talking about abortion, that will not happen
If truly you are responsible for the pregnancy, you will surely marry her.
Truly, I can't wait to carry my unborn grandchild.
Oh Lord! May it be true, and I will worship you forever".
She prayed.
Clara was alone in the room waiting for her husband to return, so she could know what the issue was. Hours later, Johnson returned, and was looking very pale and restless. As he came back to their room, he couldn't sit, he was only perambulating round the room which made Clara more disturbed than ever.
Clara - "My Love, what is it that has made My handsome husband this restless.
Please tell me what disturbs you my Lord".
Johnson-"please go to bed we will talk about that later or
tomorrow, you don't have to bother about my feelings, I don't also want you to be affected by whatever disturbs me. Go to bed my wife, I will join you soon".
Clara went to bed but was unable to sleep. she was in a deep thought about what the Matter could be.
Johnson became moody and had no appetite for food from that day.
He stayed quiet and easily aggressive.
Clara became more confused than ever because she couldn't download what the problem was, and no one told her anything.
One Friday afternoon that same week as planned, Dora arrived looking robust and more beautiful. The pregnancy was then three months and any one could identify that she was with a child.
She met Madam Rose downstairs discussing With a Laundry man who returned her washed clothes.
As soon as Dora saw her, she was very happy to see her supporter and ran to meet her, they both were Happy at the moment.
Dora was shown her room to stay pending when the meeting would hold.
The meeting would be held the next morning, being saturday, and Clara would be at home because it was not a working day.
Johnson was then a shadow of himself as he was always lost in thoughts and confusion, not Knowing how to handle the situation because he loved his wife very much. Before the meeting was to be held, Johnson called his wife to sit for a brief discussion.
Johnson- "Clara my lovely wife, he started, you have been a very good wife to me and I am very proud of you.
If I am given an opportunity to choose a wife in my next life, I will still choose you. You are everything I had wanted in a woman". He paused thinking of how to break the news to his wife.
