Chapter 1 Deliver Us

The cold winter winds caused a chilly breeze to go down my spine, and at the same time the lord's prayer always had its way of keeping me warm and safe at the same time.
Sister Lilian a nun of the order of St. Agnes and a sister of the catholic church. as a child Lilian was always special though most people are always afraid of what they don't understand, she saw things that others couldn't see, she saw visions which were believed to be from GOD but there was no way to prove that. So she was placed in a mental institution. Father Damian a catholic priest and a man of good faith who after five years of priest hood decided to call it quits after realizing that he wasn't cut out to be a holy father,he had a deep secret which was in fact his reason for wanting to leave the faith. He was going to be a father and have is own family.
The scene revolves around an ancient prophecy that a virgin may conceive of twins, one the messiah and the other a great evil, and a priest shall be the father along side the sister. They shall bear both children till they are ready.
The priest and sister had no idea that they were part of an ancient prophecy that would require them to lose all they had,but sister Lilian had already lost all she had, but father Damian on the other hand was going to lose it all including his life.
Faith had its way of bringing people together for a reason and this was not any different. The priest and the sister found themselves in the parish of St. John Novosibirsk,Russia. Both were still in the dark about what was going on, but it was clear that there were higher powers in play here. The then cardinal, father Russo who was the parish priest of St. John's and the order of lux which is an ancient order that had been in place for as long as the church itself. These were the higher powers in play here and they were fully aware of the prophecy. Though they were men of faith it was as though they had sought dark ways to put an end to the prophecy at any costs. At that time sister Lilian was already heavy with child and they were twins just like it was said in the prophecy, her pregnancy was in all ways abnormal because she had no intercourse with any man. It was expected that she would conceive that night but as faith would have it, nothing happened because it was said that no one may know the day nor time that the messiah shall come.
The night she conceived was like no other it was so dark it felt like the moon was hiding, meanwhile father Damian was in his room all held up because he was not allowed to be in the theater room of the parish.
But his experience that night was something beyond the physical.
I couldn't sleep, it was as though I was glued to my bed
And my whole body became heavier,my eyes were wide
Open to everything in my room. I could also hear the
Sounds of a million insects, my senses were fully at work
But I couldn't move. This went on for what felt like and
Eternity. Then a sudden stop came I thought I had gone deaf
But before I could even understand what happened a mighty
Wind burst open my window giving a surge of a chilly breeze,
Then I felt something on my bedside I couldn't move my neck
To see what it was , but it was coming and I could feel it.
I started sweating even though it was cold, my legs were
Shivering and I could still feel it climbing my body, it got to
My neck and I felt it press against me,I couldn't breath neither
Neither could I scream or move. I hoped this was a dream that
I would soon wake up, I didn't wake up and I didn't realise that
Tears were rolling out of my eyes. I felt my life flash slowly
Closing and with each passing moment I felt my life slip away.
My eye lids finally went down, 'I died'. but in those last
Breathes I was able to mutter the lords prayer. 'DELIVER US FROM ALL EVIL'
