Who is he? What does he want? Will any of this ever make any sense? These are the questions that keep going through my mind. Before I know anything, I always wake up.

Chapter 1 Watched

A twig snaps behind me, I look and no one is there. I'm filled with an overwhelming need to run. So I do. As I run I hear twigs snapping beside me, but there's still not a soul around. I start to panic, I run as fast as I can for as long as I can. Suddenly my foot catches on a root and I fall. I look behind me to see.... I wake up. I'm in my room safe. The smell of freshly made waffles fills my nose. I instantly start to calm down.

I get dressed and rush to the kitchen to find my mom just finished cooking. "Hey, you're up late" my mom says "Rough night? You started screaming again in your sleep."

"I'm good" I respond "I just can't ever get over these dreams. I don't know what it is, or what exactly they're about."

"Maybe it's a premonition? Your father used to get them all the time. He always claimed that that was how he knew him and I would be together." She said with tears in her eyes. As I made my way into the school parking lot and to an empty parking space I started to get a weird feeling. A bad feeling. The hairs on the back of my neck and arms stood straight. I felt like I was being watched. I took a moment to look around as I parked, but I didn't see anyone else in the parking lot.

As the school day wore on I still couldn't get rid of the feeling of being watched. As I made my way to the parking lot after the last bell rang something happened.
