I made the biggest mistake of my life five years ago. I gave Frank Billy new York's most ruthless billionaire-one forbidden night. I knew what we were doing was reckless. He was my boss, my untouchable obsession, a man who could destroy me with a single look. But that night, when his lips burned against my skin and his hands claimed every inch of me, I forgot everything-except how badly I wanted him. So I ran. I ran before he could break my heart. Before he could learn the secret I carried. Now, Frank is back. Darker. Colder. And when he finds out about **our son**, he doesn't just want revenge. He wants **me.** In his bed. In his life. Under his complete control. But if he thinks I'll surrender that easily, he's forgotten one thing... **I know exactly how to make Frank Billy beg.**

Chapter 1 (The Auction Awakening)

"Dorcas, are you there?"

The Soft grumble of voices spin about me as I entered the hall, my heart was beating. "Yes, it's me," I said, hardly raising my voice above a murmur as I looked up at the stunning lantern.

From the gloom close to the stage, a silk, familiar voice said, "After all these years... I never imagined you'd return here".

"Frank?" I took a breath, barely daring to think. "I-I had no idea you were here."

He said, half-smiling, "You always did like to surprise me," which made me shudder. "I assumed you would be hiding, but you're here."

I moved forward cautiously. That's exactly what I was doing: hiding. Yet here you are, acting as though nothing has changed.

"Nothing changed?" he sneered. "Dorcas, the past always seems to come up again. Did you ever forget that night, please?

I repeated, my gaze fixed on his, "Forget?" "I recall every abrasive utterance and every snatched touch."

"Every stolen touch..." he said again, his eyes hard and dark. "Even now, I can still feel your skin against mine."

"Why now, Frank? I tried to speak steadily as I questioned, "Why come to an auction of all places?"

"Because I needed to see you again," he said, drawing nearer till it was hard to ignore the fire between us. "I needed to know if the fire was still there," the speaker said.

"And is it?" My voice trembled with defiance and passion as I challenged.

He leaned forward to whisper, "More than ever," so that only I could hear. "Dorcas, I've missed the way you burn."

There was a pause that was laden with unspoken commitments. I muttered, "I thought I'd left that behind." "I believed I could get away from everything."

"Avoidance?" Frank laughed softly, almost in jest. "Desire is inescapable, especially ours."

With a playful tone, I asked, "Then tell me, Frank, what do you want from me now?"

He said, "Everything," as his palm lightly touched mine. "Remember why we couldn't let go, why we couldn't stay away."

I repeated, my heart racing, "Remember?" as his gaze swept over mine. "Every sin, every secret, every secret promise we made."

He lowered his voice to a raspy whisper and said, "And every promise I intend to keep." "I want to experience your heartbeat once more. I wish I could taste that night's recollection on your lips.

I could feel the heat building inside of me, perilously near a past I had attempted to forget. I said, "Frank, you know what we shared was dangerous," yet there was a hunger in my voice that I could not conceal.

"Dangerous? "Yes," he said, moving in closer until our breaths blended. However, isn't that risk what made it so enticing? That's what made every kiss and every touch so special?

"Unforgettable," I said gently again. "I'm not sure if it was a gift or a curse."

His tone changed to one of pure passion as he strongly stated, "Then let it be both." "Dorcas, let's bring back the rules tonight. Let's experience the joy again.

After a brief moment of uncertainty, I speak, "I never thought I'd hear you say that."

Frank's eyes dim with longing as he continued, "evaluate it a second chance." "A chance to do it correctly-and perhaps even better than before."

I took a deep breath, feeling the anxiety between us. "Is it better or simply more hazardous?"

"Both," he said, his smile promising trouble. "I am aware of my desires. I am aware that you also feel it. Do you not sense it now?

As his words encircled me, a whisper of discussion crept from the visitors close, but it eventually faded into the background. With a hoarse voice, I admitted, "Yes, I feel it." "I sense the draw. The warmth. I feel alive.

"All right," Frank whispered. "Because I want every aspect of you tonight." I wish to take away all of your anxieties and make the passion we left behind visible.

I could feel my seriousness stumble down his eyes. I started to say, "Frank, we can't just-" but he cut me off.

He touched my back with his Palm and said, "Shh." "Stay quiet. Allow the memories to flow. Give in to your desire.

Captured by his tone, I muttered back, "Please." "I need to experience that spark once more."

His lips brushed mine, soft and demanding as he leaned closer. "Then have faith in me," he inhaled. "Release. Follow me as we visit a location where the history of the past and present meet.

I nodded in agreement, my voice sunk out by the surge of feelings. "Yes," I managed to respond, "I trust you."

"Follow me," Frank urged in a tone that was both commanding and tender. "Let the night serve as our observer."

As we moved away from the throng, our discourse became into a private realm filled with passionate vows and whispered confessions. As we walked down a quiet hallway, he whispered, "I never stopped thinking about you, Dorcas." "Your absence was like a searing ache to me every night and every lonely moment."

I whispered back, "And I felt your absence, too." I thought I could forget, so I hid from it. However, I always see you when I close my eyes.

His voice was low and friendly as he said, "You see me now." "I'm in front of you right here. All set to recover what we have lost.

His hand grew tighter around mine, and I shuddered. "Recover? Or take a chance on everything again?

"Dangerst?" he repeated, his laugh gentle yet bold. I've always taken chances, haven't I? And my biggest danger was always you, Dorcas.

I challenged, my voice quivering with a mixture of defiance and want, "Then show me." "Prove to me that you can manage that raging conflict between us."

His gaze pierced my own. When he said, "Watch and learn," everything around us vanished.

Frank drew me near in a silent room with only warm amber light. "I didn't feel your touch," he said. "I missed your breathing and your laugh. Do you recall the sensation of our lips meeting for the first time?

With remorse and longing in my voice, I said, "I remember every touch." "I recall the passion, the heat, and the promise of eternity."

His tone changed to one of lighthearted caution as he stated, "Forever is a dangerous word." But let's set our own rules for tonight. Dorcas, let me taste you once more. Permit me to touch you with my fingers.

His words filled me with a rush of yearning that I could barely control. "Frank... I murmured, my voice hardly more than a whisper, "I've dreamed of this." "We were unstoppable-every stolen moment, every secret night."

"And we're unstoppable tonight," he answered in a needy, deep voice. "I wish I could see you, feel you, and hear you call my name out."

I let out a low moan. "Don't make fun of me, Frank. I'm available to you. You have me all to yourself.

There was promise in his dark smile. He answered, "Then allow me to express to you how much you mean to me." "Every kiss and contact will act as a memo that you're not alone. that you are loved.

His lips found mine once more, and I closed my eyes as our words faded into the silent pounding of our hearts and the gentle rustle of cloth. I murmur , "I need you now, Frank," as I felt his hot breath against my skin.

With a tone full of want, he answered, "And I need you, Dorcas." Give up your doubts. Allow your desire to take you elsewhere.

The dim light turned our whispered words into a promise. I answered, my voice shaking with excitement, "I'm ready." "Show me the unquenchable fire."

"Then stay with me tonight," he said, tracing the contour of my waist with his hand. "Remember what we had and what we can have again by staying with me and letting each moment serve as a reminder."

"I want to make you forget all the pain, all the hiding," he said after a pause. I want all of the passion we left behind to be felt by you.

"Frank," I muttered. "I can't fight this, even though I'm scared." I also want it.

He said, "Then let us lose ourselves." "Let this night be ours, where our hearts are revealed through every kiss and touch."

I obeyed his voice, and I felt his warm hand lead me more into the unknown. Half-lost in the moment, I said, "I never thought I'd come back." "But it's like coming home with you."

Then, he said, "let's stay home, just for tonight." "In each other's arms, where our shared fire is all that matters."

Our desires discovered their own rhythm in the silence that followed our words-a languid, flaming dance that required no additional justification. "I'm yours," I said in a quiet, confident murmur.

Frank responded, "And I'm yours," sealing the vow with a kiss that embodied both the excitement of the future and the heat of our history.
