The novel follows Lena, a talented, sensitive woman who has long sacrificed her needs for the sake of a relationship where she is undervalued. Despite her deep love, Lena struggles with the pain of not being appreciated, which slowly chips away at her sense of self-worth. Her journey begins when a chance encounter-a supportive friend, a mentor, or even a new, unexpected opportunity-sparks a realization: true love starts with loving oneself. Lena embarks on a journey of self-discovery, learning to set boundaries and embrace her own worth, even if that means letting go of love that diminishes her.

Chapter 1 The Quiet Dawn

At the break of dawn, Lena sat by her window watching the sky change from deep navy to soft shades of pink and blue. Every morning, this quiet ritual of sipping her tea and greeting the new light had been a gentle comfort. But today, the silence felt different-there was a mysterious hush in the air, as if the day itself held a secret.

As the first rays of sunlight touched the room, Lena's heart thumped with a mix of hope and unease. The beauty of the sunrise was undeniable, yet it carried a subtle warning, a whisper of something yet to be revealed. Memories of long, lonely evenings filled her mind: evenings when Mark, her partner, had been so distant that his absence spoke louder than any words. In those moments, love had felt empty, and her own worth seemed to fade into the background.

This morning, though, as the light grew stronger, a feeling stirred within her-an intuition that today was not like any other. The gentle glow outside promised a new beginning, yet it also hinted at hidden truths waiting to emerge. Lena felt as if the dawn was urging her to look inside herself, to question why she had allowed her heart to be overlooked for so long.

In that still moment, she closed her eyes and listened to the soft murmur of the wind outside. Every rustle of leaves and every distant sound seemed to be part of a larger story-a story that might finally reveal the answers she had long been seeking. Uncertain yet determined, Lena sensed that this dawn was the start of something extraordinary: a journey toward discovering her true worth and the kind of love that honors it.

I received a pornographic video. "Do you like this?" The man speaking in the video is my husband, Mark, whom I haven't seen for several months. He is naked, his shirt and pants scattered on the ground, thrusting forcefully on a woman whose face I can't see, her plump and round breasts bouncing vigorously. I can clearly hear the slapping sounds in the video, mixed with lustful moans and grunts. "Yes, yes, fuck me hard, baby," the woman screams ecstatically in response. "You naughty girl!" Mark stands up and flips her over, slapping her buttocks as he speaks. "Stick your ass up!" The woman giggles, turns around, sways her buttocks, and kneels on the bed. I feel like someone has poured a bucket of ice water on my head. It's bad enough that my husband is having an affair, but what's worse is that the other woman is my own sister, Bella. ************************************************************************************************************************ "I want to get a divorce, Mark," I repeated myself in case he didn't hear me the first time-even though I knew he'd heard me clearly. He stared at me with a frown before answering coldly, "It's not up to you! I'm very busy, don't waste my time with such boring topics, or try to attract my attention!" The last thing I was going to do was argue or bicker with him. "I will have the lawyer send you the divorce agreement," was all I said, as calmly as I could muster. He didn't even say another word after that and just went through the door he'd been standing in front of, slamming it harshly behind him. My eyes lingered on the knob of the door a bit absentmindedly before I pulled the wedding ring off my finger and placed it on the table. I grabbed my suitcase, which I'd already had my things packed in and headed out of the house.
