Billionaire Nanny

Chapter 1: the interview

Catherine Rutherford, a 25-year-old young woman, was desperate to find a job to take care of her sick sister. She had been searching for weeks, and finally, she landed an interview at the luxurious mansion of billionaire Alex Gabriel.

As she arrived at the mansion, Catherine couldn't help but feel intimidated. The grandeur of the house was overwhelming, and she wondered if she was cut out for the job. However, she was determined to make a good impression and provide for her sister.

Catherine took a deep breath, smoothed out her dress, and rang the doorbell. The door was answered by a stern-looking butler, who ushered her into the living room.

"Mr. Gabriel will be with you shortly," he said, before disappearing into the hallway.

Catherine looked around the room, taking in the lavish decorations and expensive artwork. She felt out of place, but she was determined to prove herself.

Just then, Alex Gabriel walked into the room, flashing a charming smile. "Catherine, it's lovely to meet you," he said, extending his hand.

Catherine shook his hand, feeling a spark of electricity. "It's nice to meet you too, Mr. Gabriel," she replied.

Alex sat down behind his desk, gesturing for Catherine to take a seat. "So, tell me, Catherine. What makes you think you're qualified to be a nanny for my children?"

Catherine launched into a confident speech about her experience working with children, her qualifications, and her passion for childcare. Alex listened intently, his eyes never leaving hers.

When she finished, Alex nodded thoughtfully. "I must say, Catherine. You're quite impressive. I think you'd be a great fit for my children."

Catherine beamed with pride. "Thank you, Mr. Gabriel. I won't let you down."

Alex smiled. "I'm sure you won't. Now, let's discuss the details. You'll be working Monday to Friday, with weekends off. You'll be responsible for taking care of my two children, Danielle and Steve."

Catherine nodded eagerly. "That sounds perfect, Mr. Gabriel."

Alex handed her a folder containing all the necessary information. "Welcome to the team, Catherine. I look forward to seeing you tomorrow."

Catherine left the mansion feeling elated. She had gotten the job, and she couldn't wait to start.

As she walked home, Catherine called her sister Annabelle to share the good news.

"Am very happy for my big sister. Finally, she got the job," Annabelle said, her voice filled with excitement.

"Congratulations, sister Cathe. But will you be coming back home every day?" Annabelle asked.

"No, sweetie. It's a full-time job, but don't worry. I'll be coming home every weekend to see you," Catherine replied.

When Catherine arrived at the mansion the next morning, she was greeted by Alex and his two children.

"Catherine, meet my two children, Danielle and Steve," Alex said, smiling.

Danielle and Steve looked at Catherine with curiosity, before turning to their father.

"Daddy, who is she?" Danielle asked.

"She's your new nanny, Catherine," Alex replied.

Catherine smiled, trying to make a good impression. "Hello, Danielle and Steve. I'm excited to get to know you both better."

The rest of the day was a whirlwind of activity, as Catherine settled into her new role. She quickly realized that Danielle and Steve were mischievous and spoiled, but she was determined to help them become better behaved.

The next morning, Catherine woke up to find a bucket of paint poured on her head. She jerked upright, laughing.

"What the...?!" she exclaimed.

Danielle and Steve burst into laughter. "Gotcha!" they chimed in unison.

Catherine couldn't help but laugh. "Well played, kids. But I'm not going anywhere."

As the day went on, Catherine struggled to keep up with the mischievous duo. However, she was determined to win them over.

At dinner time, the family gathered at the table. Alex asked Catherine about her plans for the weekend.

"I'll be going home to visit my sister," she replied.

Danielle and Steve looked at each other, clearly unhappy about Catherine's departure.

"Aunt Catherine, when will you come back?" Steve asked.

"I'll be back on Sunday morning," she replied.

As Catherine looked at Alex, she couldn't help but notice how handsome he was. She felt a flutter in her chest, but quickly pushed the feeling aside.

"Good morning, sir," she said, trying to sound professional.

Alex smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Good morning, Catherine."

Catherine felt her heart skip a beat as she met Alex's gaze. She quickly looked away, trying to compose herself.

As the evening drew to a close, Catherine reflected on her first day as a nanny. It had been challenging, but she was determined to make it work.

Little did she know, her biggest challenge was yet to come .

"Oh no, she's going home, and I'm still craving for those cookies. What can I do?" Steve thought to himself.

"Aunt Catherine, when will you come back? I'ma still thinking about those cookies," Steve asked, looking up at Catherine with pleading eyes.

"Me too!" Danielle chimed in.

"What cookies are you talking about?" Mr. Alex asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Our nanny made us delicious cookies," Steve replied.

Mr. Alex thought to himself, "Why is she baking cookies for my kids? What's gotten into them? I thought they didn't like each other. Are they close now? They'd better be, at least that way I'll have some peace of mind."

"I'll come back on Sunday morning," Catherine said with a smile.

"Okay, Auntie, we'll miss you," Steve said, looking up at Catherine with sad eyes.

"Me too," Danielle added.

When Catherine arrived at Zara's place, she found the door open wide. Where could they be? Where is my sister Anabelle?

"Zara! Zara!" I screamed at the top of my voice. I was already crying when someone tapped me on the shoulder. I turned around to see Zara standing behind me.

"I knew Catherine would come here, that's why I came here looking for her," Zara said.

"Zara, where are you? Where did you go? Where is Anabelle?" I asked, trying to calm down.

"Calm down, Catherine. Your sister is fine. We've relocated to my new house," Zara replied.

"What?! Your new house? Where did you get the money for a new house?" I exclaimed.

"It's a long story. Let's go first, and then I'll explain everything," Zara said.

We boarded a cab and zoomed off.
