Celine,an orphan, who grew up in an orphanage becomes a working class lady. She became friends with Linda, heiress to the Smith's company and Amanda, the daughter of the owner of the Banks' mall and some other girls. Linda is announced to be getting married and Celine hears the news that her lover who she has been waiting for years around is around, Christian. Christian, a rich kid dated Celine then in high school but was sent to further his education in another country also another means of separating him from Celine, all planned by his father. Celine approaches him but is rejected by him. Christian comes to Celine's house later at night, drunk and passes out in her apartment, she takes it as his love for her and took him to the apartment, spent the night in his house. Unfortunately, the next day would be the worst day for Celine as she encounters an accident after being driven out of Christian's house and loses her memories, where she met Edward, a neurosurgeon who helped with her surgery, she encounters another accident which worsens her condition and made her memories permanent. Celine later found out her accident wasn't really an accident but a planned accident
Chapter 1 THE NOTEBOOK
Celine's Pov
It is so oppressing that my friends all have their future partners but I don't have anyone to call. Wow!! Never knew life would be like this, I'm probably going to die single.
"Hey girls, I have a special announcement and information to give", Amanda said, one of Celine's friends, "please make some noise"
" Woahhhhh!!!" They all hailed except for Celine who was so deep in her thoughts
"Hellooooo", Amanda noticed her and tried to get her attention
"Ooo...oh", she jolted up from her deep thoughts
"Okay, stay with us", Amanda smiled, "our beautiful and pretty sis and friend is getting married soon" she shouted
"Woohoo", they all started screaming..
Linda is Celine's closest friend, they had known each other since when they were little. She is the heiress of the Smith's investment company. Though, she still stays in the family's house with her other friends, Celine, Amanda and Cynthia.
On the other hand, Celine is an orphan who grew up in an orphanage, sneaking out to do little jobs so she can earn little money to take care of herself. She got a scholarship throughout the years she spent from high school and to the university. Luckily she was able to secure a position in the Tons company. She is so diligent to her work and hardworking. She gets paid decent amounts that she rented an apartment, she doesn't really stay in her house but mostly stays at Linda's house which is closer to her workplace
"You know Celine, we would be more happy if you get married", Linda said like she understood Celine's feelings
"So wait!! Linda, you will be doing what married couples do??" Cynthia teased
"Awwwnn I'm blushing for you". Amanda whined.
"But I'll be in charge of the food and drinks", Cynthia said.
"Girl, you can't take my job away for me", Amanda hit Cynthia on her elbow
"Yeah, too bad I can't take that job away from you cause I'll be travelling to Germany to attend a special training there and also spend time with my boyfriend and his family, you know? " Cynthia said
"Nahhh I don't" Linda pouted her lip like a child
" Haha!! You guys are too funny... So Celine, what do you think about getting a job at my dad's company, he is really expecting you to come work?" Linda said
"Wow, I'm really okay with my workplace but thi...." Celine was interrupted by the loud music.
The Tons company was owned by her first love family, a family business they say. She laid low (as she thinks) just to get a job there and lucky for her she is the assistant to one of the Directors in the company.
"This is the work of those rats" Linda laughed. The two went to join them and started dancing with them...
The duo stopped to watched this other duo who just joined in on the dance floor with their mouths forming 0. Linda and Cynthia were so immersed in dancing
They stopped dancing only to see the other girls watching them dance
"What??" Linda and Celine ran in blushing.
"Let's watch the notebook", Celine said
"Ohhh sure, I wonder why you guys cry when watching it", Amanda rolled her eyes in.
"Ohhhk, you think you are very cold and heartless, let's watch then" Cynthia laughed at Amanda.
2hours later.
"Why does she have to die?? Ahhhhhh" Amanda was in tears.
"I don't just know, but you said you won't cry", Cynthia was laughing and crying.
"It's just so sad", Celine sniffs
"I know right",Linda cleaned her eyes.
"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhgggggggggahhhhhhhhh" Amanda kept crying
"If you want to cry, cry like a human being not like a cow that is about to give birth" Jessica laughed.
"I'm going to bed", Celine waved as she tried to fight herself from yawning wildly but her mind was obviously in other things.
Anything like the love Celine has for her boyfriend, Christian... She kept thinking, 'what if he doesn't love me anymore?' 'what if he has found someone else?'
Many possible thoughts ran through her mind, the "what ifs" kept coming
Christian is this rich kid, who was considered lucky cause of his father's wealth... He went to same high school with Celine but left to another country to study and further his studies
Him leaving for the country wasn't because he wanted to... His father found out of his relationship with a poor orphan... He told him "she probably is a gold digger, who is getting close to you for money" so his father separated them by taking him abroad because Christian won't just let go of the girl.
His father, Mr Robertson forced him to travel to another country and leave everything behind, and he had an arranged marriage to the daughter of a rich man who owns the biggest company in the whole of the city
Christian couldn't say anything then, he couldn't refuse but to do what he was asked to do.
On the other hand Celine waited for years and was still waiting for him, she never engaged herself with any guy so she can keep herself for him...she was so innocent in love.
She still believed that he would come back to be with her...she tried her best not to let the 'what ifs' question create any reason for doubt...
Celine came back, "I'm craving pizza".
"Let's order some pizza", Celine said
"Yeah great idea", the others said
The only thing she can do is to get things out of her head and wait for the reality. It was more better for her to wait than harm herself with her thoughts.
Everyday, she prayed for him to come back but it's like heaven has no ears for her prayer and it hurt her so much.
It's been 9 years but what can she do but wait for him. She just wanted to see him, marry him, create a life with him and live happily ever after.
"Celine, why don't you look for someone else instead of waiting for your prince charming, who knows if he is still loyal. He might have gotten another girl" Cynthia said to Celine
"Yeah Jessica can be right. It's been 9 years now and you won't stop the waiting, who knows what he is doing right now, maybe his head is on the laps of another lady" Amanda said.
"And, you haven't even told us his name" Cynthia raised her brows
"She has a reason to be this way but I won't advice her to do this. It's better to move on that wait for someone who would have forgotten you" Linda smiled and patted her shoulders.
"Hmmm, I hear you guys but no matter what you say I'll still wait for him"Celine smiled.
"Ohhh gosh so foolish" Amanda rolled her eyes in.
