Nathan Davies was the underrated son-in-law of the George family. Everyone in the family had despised and underrated him due to his financial condition. Nathan was underrated not to be able to come up with a contract proposal. On the contrary, Nathan won the contract in less than five minutes. As a result, Nathan is the latest Don of Kalhari town and back to deal with those had underrated him.

"Exciting news for contractors and stakeholders! Kalhari government plans massive housing project worth a staggering $500 million."
"This ambitious initiative aims to transform Kalhari's landscape, providing urban housing for its citizens."
"This housing contract is open for public bidding!!! Everyone and anyone qualified can be awarded the contract!"The reporter announced.
Upon hearing the news, Grandma Skye George's eyes sparkled with hope and excitement. "This is the opportunity we've been waiting for!" She exclaimed, her voice trembling with emotions.
For years, she had dreamed of a better life for herself and now it seemed within reach. If she acquires this housing project, it will not only provide a new roof over her head but also a chance to elevate her status in Kalhari.
Immediately, Skye picked up her phone and announced a general family meeting. Housing is the George's family area of specialty, just a little document from Harold and boom the contract is hers!
Skye was already daydreaming about the milk and honey which will flow through her life if she attains this contract.
"Nathan! Where are you? I want you back in the house within 30 minutes or I won't spare you!" Skye yelled as soon as the call was connected.
Even though Nathan is unappreciated by Grandama Skye, he has come through for her during desperate times. Besides, she might need him to serve refreshment during the meeting.
"What the heck again?" Nathan wondered with series of thoughts running through his mind. Today was his payday and couldn't wait to get paid.
Nathan was eager to resume work.
Arriving back the George's family villa, Nathan parked his bike outside the villa. He dare not park his old and rickety in the Villa.
Nathan was enveloped by the atmosphere of elegance and warmth. The stunning chandelier hung with sparkling jewel and casted a soft glow over the marble floor.
He wondered as several people had gathered around including his cousins. Seeing Nathan, Lexie George, Nathan's beloved wife immediately approached him.
"Lexie, what is going on and why is everyone gathered around?" Nathan asked Lexie.
"Grandma had called a general meeting to discuss the latest announcement pertaining to Kalhari housing contracts." Lexie said.
During this time, Lexie was interrupted by the arrival of her mother who approached the two of them. "Look at this rubbish, who invited you for the meeting? Aren't you suppose to be at work? You must think highly of yourself to be here. What a shame!" Laurel said.
"Grandma had called me over mother. She wanted me to attend the meeting as well." Nathan replied his mother-in-law softly.
Laurel's expression hardened instantly. "Mother? Don't be ridiculous. Besides, grandma called you over to do what exactly? To take attendance or serve everyone drinks during the meeting."
Nathan's smile instantly froze as he said " I was in...." Nathan was cut short by his father-in-law.
"What a disappointment! I hope you remember my favorite mixture, don't forget how I like it!" Murphy George, Nathan's father-in-law interrupted mimicking his mannerism.
Lexie became uncomfortable with the manner at which her parents were addressing Nathan and immediately interrupted by saying "Dad, Mom, grandma invited everyone for the meeting including Nathan. Please don't make a scene and let Nathan be!"
Even though Nathan and Lexie's marriage had been in name only, Lexie had always stood and defended Nathan whenever he was subjected to bullying from George's family.
Meanwhile, grandma Skye arrived in her luxurious car and immediately everyone proceeded with her to the villa.
"Thank you all for coming. It's with tremendous joy that I invited you all over here today, pertaining to the news that broke out this afternoon about the Housing contracts in Kalhari." Grandma Skye spoke, her voice steady and warm.
"As we all know this is our area of specialty and thus, I would like you all to come together to achieve this. If we get this contract, it will really uplift the family and make us famous in Kalhari." Everyone listened attentively as grandma Skye spoke with energy and confidence.
On the contrary, the rest of the family were not moved by this and believed that the contract was unattainable by the George family.
This is because there are more powerful people bidding for the same contract and besides, the George's family doesn't have the resources and the technical know-how to attain this kind of massive contract.
"James, I would want you to lead this contract bidding and I must say this, whoever negotiated the contract successfully would be rewarded tremendously." Grandma Skye stated boldly.
Hearing this, the whole family became excited and James, her eldest son, asked enthusiastically "Grandma, what is this reward?"
"Whoever successfully negotiates this contract will be rewarded with 10% of the contract as a token of appreciation and as well become the face of the George company. As the leading architect of the family, I expect you James to be at the forefront." Grandma Skye kept on pushing James to lead this contract.
Meanwhile, James knew there are top architectural firms in Kalhari who they can't compete with. They must be kidding to think of competing with firms like Bear Paw Corp and Starmart firms. The only way to be part of this contract is if they decided to sublet the contract to them. In fact, this contract has these firms names written over it.
Better still, Porter who owns Bear Paw Corp is interested in Lexie. If only they could be in laws then, they can curry favor from them. Anything else is nothing but elusive dreams.
Meanwhile, Lexie had always wanted to uplift Nathan's stance in the George's family due to the constant mockery he is being subjected to. She saw this as a perfect opportunity for her to do so and whispered to his ears "Nathan, aren't you a certified architect?"
"Yes I'm. " Nathan replied.
"Why don't you give this a trial, I believe you would be able to pull this off." Lexie encouraged with a wink.
"I don't understand what you mean by pulling this off Lexie? You know I don't own a company." Nathan was surprised. Even James who owns Radiant Arts is rejecting the offer. "Are you trying to put me up for mockery?" Navan scoffed.
Meanwhile, Nathan had been unemployed for a whike until recently when he attained a job as a laborer in Gorrilacostic Mine.
"How do expect me to apply?" Nathan added.
