Chapter 1 A Terrible First Impression
He stared at his assistant, who ran after him immediately, and shut the door, as he stepped into the office.
"Sir is everything okay?." Greg asked trying to sound calm.
Alex looking into the eyes of his assistant Greg, threw an envelope on the ground.
"I need you to find me a wife, Greg." He said.
Greg picked up the envelope with shivering hands, opening it. He noticed something weird, he ran outside to throw up.
Getting back in, Alex stood pointing a gun at Greg.
"You know what's at stake here Greg." He warned.
His assistant pleaded.
"Sir I'll do anything please don't fire me."
He knew that leaving the office without his permission would anger him, but he did it anyway.
Greg picked up the envelope once again, and fled.
"The order was simple." Alex said to himself. "Find a wife for me in two days, or lose your job."
It was a highly impossible task for any human, but when you work for a god like Alex, you must do as you're told.
"Who on earth will be willing to get married to a shrewed man like Sir Alex?." Greg asked himself.
Walking into the board room, Stephanie, his secretary, stared into his handsome, golden eyes. There was no one as handsome as he was, at least none that she had ever seen.
"Good morning Sir." She said trying to sound seductive.
Alex barely noticed her presence. "Where is the new employee?." he asked.
Stephanie unbuttoned her Tshirt, trying to seduce him, but he walked right past her.
Her best friend sitting nearby mocked her.
"If only you had a brain you would know better."
Stephanie responded calmly. "You won't be invited to the wedding."
A new employee was meant to be in an interview, that very instant, but she was late.
Alex had already sent her a mail, telling her to forget about the job, he does not need delinquents.
Felicia stepping into the building and bumped into an unknown man. The collision disorganized her papers, sending them up in the air.
Felicia was enraged, "Watch where you're going buddy?." she yelled. she gave the man a lecture he would never forget in a lifetime.
But Greg, too busy to listen, he ran off, to fulfill his masters task.
Greg, adopted and raised by sir Alex, owed him his entire life, or so he was taught. Without sir Alex he would have being left in the orphanage to rot.
Greg was filled with so much thoughts; he did not see the black limo that was about to hit him.
Luckily, Alex did.
He jumped into the busy road, and pushed Greg aside; they both narrowly escaped death.
Alex stared at Greg that was strike two, another misbehaviour, and he would be punished.
Greg sighed. Alex went back into the office, and saw someone sitting and waiting for him.
"How did you get in?." Alex asked.
" The door was wide open." Felicia replied smiling.
Alex told her, "you are no longer needed, I have found another assistant who is fit for the job."
Felicia knelt down,her hands folded, raised high to her brows, this made Alex smile but he quickly check mated his self.
It was no longer funny for him, any one could barge into the office what happened to the security system.
It was at that moment, Felicia saw a shadow trying to sneak past Alex's desk.
She screamed, the thief revealed himself but fled, Alex chasing after him bumped into Felicia, and they both fell on the floor, staring in each other's eyes.
Lost in time and unaware of the door still open, Alex stood up but also noticed that the thief stopped to take a picture of them, before running again.
Alex dusted his suit, and continued the chase.
But the thief escaped, he went back to his office, and found Felicia jumping out through the window, trying to escape, she jumped, falling into a thrash can..
Alex punched the wall with his fists,
"What is going on here today?."
He took his gun and shot in her direction but she escaped leaving her documents neatly arranged on the table.
Never in his life has he being so embarrassed as he was today, being seen lying on a woman, and staring into her eyes, what would the media say?.
He decided to go back home;he did not feel like working anymore.
After being betrayed by his ex wife,Natasha, he had stayed far away from women. He being the son in law of Natasha's family, it was no news that she chose him to be her next of kin..
"That was one of my happiest moments." He said to himself. "I was so happy I shot her two years later, in order to inherit all I have now acquired."
Natasha had cheated on him with his best friend George, he hoped that they spend there eternity in the tombs together.
That was one of the reasons he buried them side by side..
His own mother Alexa, abandoned him since childhood, and he grew up questioning his identity, and that of his father.
Greg fastened his pace; he needed to find a girl crazy enough to be Sir Alex's wife.
But Greg was curious to know why Sir Alex needed a wife, everyone thought he would get married to a robot from Tesla.
Walking into the bar, his eyes scanned the area looking for the most vulnerable woman
And he got one-he saw a blonde lady drinking and sobbing.
Greg walked up to her and tried to convince her about the perks of getting married to an eligible bachelor like Sir Alex.
"Madam, I know this may sound crazy; I am here to offer you an opportunity, to get married to a very wealthy and powerful man."
What other way to convince a woman of Sir Alex perfection than by showing her his glorious looks which were to die for.
