Feared and revered as the ruthless leader of a powerful mafia empire, Valentina Moretti has built her life on control, strategy, and cold precision. But her carefully constructed world begins to unravel the night she discovers a mysterious woman washed up on the shore near her villa. Mira has no memory of who she is or why danger seems to follow her every move. Drawn together by an undeniable attraction, Valentina and Mira find themselves caught in a web of passion, secrets, and deadly intrigue. As rival factions close in and Mira's shadowy past threatens to surface, Valentina must decide how far she's willing to go to protect the woman who's awakened a fire she thought was long extinguished. But in a world where trust is a luxury and love is a vulnerability, can their connection survive the storm that's coming-or will it destroy them both? Steamy, suspenseful, and packed with high-stakes drama, Shadows Beneath the Moonlight is a tale of forbidden romance that burns as fiercely as it thrills.

Marco nodded reluctantly and got back into the driver's seat. As the SUV roared to life and they sped away from the beach, Valentina kept her eyes on the woman. Her pale skin glistened with a sheen of saltwater, her lips slightly parted as if whispering secrets in her sleep.

For someone who had built a fortress around her emotions, Valentina felt disturbingly drawn to her.
