Adiza's world shattered when she received the news of her father's brutal murder. She was only 19, but her life was about to take a drastic turn. As the daughter of the infamous mafia boss, Donatello "The Bull" Morano, Adiza was next in line to inherit the family business.

Chapter 1 Alex meets Adiza

Adiza Morano grew up in a world of luxury and fear. As the daughter of Donatello "The Bull" Morano, the notorious mafia boss of south London, she was accustomed to the finer things in life. But with privilege came a price: her father's reputation preceded her, casting a long shadow that intimidated those around her. Adiza's early life was marked by isolation. She attended an elite private school in London, where her classmates whispered about her family's illicit activities. They would stare at her with a mix of fascination and fear, unsure how to approach her.

Despite her intimidating reputation, Adiza was a brilliant student. She devoured books on mathematics, science, and literature, often finishing her homework before the school day ended. Her teachers praised her intellect, but her peers kept their distance. Adiza's loneliness was palpable. She would sit alone at lunch, watching as her classmates laughed and chatted with each other. She longed for connection, for someone to share her thoughts and feelings with. One day, a new student joined Adiza's class. His name was Alessandro "Alex" Rossi, and he had just moved to London from Italy. Alex was tall, with messy black hair and piercing green eyes. He had a charming smile and an easygoing demeanor that immediately put his classmates at ease. As Alex settled into his new school, he noticed Adiza sitting alone at lunch. He was intrigued by her intensity and focus, and he wondered why she seemed so isolated. One day, Alex decided to take a chance and approach Adiza. He walked over to her table, his heart pounding slightly in his chest. "Mind if I join you?" Alex asked, his Italian accent music to Adiza's ears. Adiza looked up, surprised by the sudden interruption. She studied Alex's face, searching for any sign of mockery or fear. But all she saw was kindness and genuine interest. "Not at all," Adiza replied, her voice barely above a whisper. Alex sat down, and they began to talk. Adiza was hesitant at first, unsure if she could trust this newcomer. But Alex was easy to talk to, and he listened intently as Adiza shared her thoughts and passions. As the days turned into weeks, Adiza and Alex became inseparable. They sat together at lunch, partnered up for group projects, and even started a study group together. For the first time in her life, Adiza felt like she had found a true friend. Alex didn't care about her family's reputation or the fear that surrounded her. He saw her for who she truly was: a brilliant, sensitive, and deeply lonely person. As they walked home from school one day, Alex turned to Adiza with a curious expression. "Hey, Adiza? Can I ask you something?" "Sure, what is it?" Adiza replied, her heart skipping a beat. "Why does everyone seem so afraid of you?" Alex asked, his eyes locked on hers. Adiza's face fell, and she looked away, unsure of how to respond. But Alex's gentle tone put her at ease, and she began to open up about her family's past and the fear that surrounded her. As they talked, Adiza realized that she had found a true ally in Alex. He didn't judge her or fear her; he accepted her for who she was, mafia princess and all. And as they parted ways that day, Adiza felt a sense of hope that she hadn't felt in years. Maybe, just maybe, she had found a friend who would stand by her side, no matter what dangers or challenges lay ahead.
