Here's the translation: "After being with Zhou Fu for three years in college, he suddenly said he was tired of me and grandly introduced a beautiful junior to me. This time, I didn't argue with him; I left the necklace he gave me behind and deleted all his contact information. He was laughing with the junior in a mocking way, 'Within three days, she'll definitely come crying to make peace!' But Zhou Fu, how could someone who no longer loves you seek reconciliation? Later, Zhou Fu was the first to actively call me. 'Zhao Yu, throwing tantrums has its limits; you know I don't like drama...' But then a deep male voice came through the phone, 'Zhou, if you can't keep your wife happy, she might run away.'"

Chapter 1

I was all smiles as I attended my boyfriend's celebration party for securing a spot in graduate school.

However, he arrived late, with a young and beautiful junior in his arms.

He said he was tired of our relationship, that there was no love left, and bet that I was so needy for love that I would beg him to stay.

Without a second thought, I turned and left.

Later, he regretted it, kneeling and begging me to come back.

I chuckled softly and kissed a junior on the forehead.

I said, "Sorry. I'm the one who's tired of our relationship, and there's no love left."

Andres Simpson had secured a spot in graduate school.

To celebrate, I arrived at the party relatively early.

After chatting for a while, Andres finally showed up, but he wasn't alone. He had a beautiful junior in his arms.

Instantly, all the laughter and chatter stopped.

Everyone's eyes turned to me, filled with sympathy, ridicule, concern, and awkwardness.

I glanced around, unable to muster a smile. I thought to myself, "Why is everyone looking at me?"

Andres sat down with the junior named Jane Smith and finally looked at me.

"Eva, let me be honest with you. We've been on and off for years, and I'm tired of it. To be frank, you're not that pretty, and I've lost feelings for you a long time ago."

My hands clenched tightly, my nails digging into my skin, but I forced a smile.

Then he continued, "I like Jane. I want to give her a proper status. She's younger and prettier than you. You understand, right?"

I nodded. "I understand.

"That's good. Let's part ways amicably and remain friends. If you need anything, just let me know."

I stood up, forcing a stiff smile. "Exes being friends? That's just awkward for the current partner. You all enjoy the party. I'm leaving."

I practically ran out, slamming the door behind me.

Once outside, I leaned against the wall, feeling drained, while their laughter and chatter continued inside.

"Andres, you're amazing! I can't believe you can shake off Eva like this. It's incredible!"

"How long do you think it'll take for Eva to come back? I bet a week. It's always like this; she always begs Andres to get back together."

"I bet three days. She loves Andres so much she'll be crying her eyes out by then!"

"Exactly! Just like last time when Andres shared in the group, she was crying her heart out."

Andres's voice came slowly, "She'll definitely come crying for reconciliation in less than three days."

They kept laughing, but I stopped listening.

Andres and I had been together since freshman year, and now, in our senior year of internships, I never imagined it would end so disgracefully.

Back at the apartment, I packed my things and messaged my roommate that I was moving back to the dorm.

This was the place Andres and I had rented together.

I left the necklace he gave me, along with the keys, at the entrance and moved back to the dorm that night.

My roommate, Olivia Sanderson, helped me move. "Eva, why are you back?"

"Nothing much, just broke up." I replied, pulling out two bottles of alcohol from my bag. "Want to drink with me?"

"What?" Olivia was incredulous. "Weren't you two together for two or three years? Just broke up like that?"

I laughed. "Hard to believe, right? I can't believe it either."

But we did break up, in the most cliché and melodramatic way.

Andres was always attractive, never short of admirers, and we often fought about it.

Later, I realized that having admirers wasn't something he could control, and I was drawn to his excellence too.

So, I always sought reconciliation, often shedding tears when I felt wronged.

I never expected Andres to record my looks for reconciliation and share them in a group for others to mock.

"Olivia, I feel so awful... sob sob... "

I chugged the alcohol, tears streaming down as my vision blurred.

Olivia was good at holding her liquor and didn't get drunk as easily as I did. She took out her phone and fiddled with it.

"I need to tell someone... "

I struggled to grab her phone. "Who are you telling?"

"Eva, don't worry about it, and don't be sad. Let go of the past to welcome the future. Tomorrow, I'll introduce you to a new handsome guy." Olivia said and waved her hand.

The next day.

I suspected I was still drunk because I saw my ex-boyfriend, Anthony Campbell, outside the dorm.

No, he should be my ex-ex-boyfriend. I almost forgot I just broke up yesterday.

I quickly grabbed Olivia's arm, trying to sneak away. "Let's go, let's go."

Olivia was puzzled. "What's wrong? I was just about to introduce you. Hey! Over here!"

I widened my eyes as Anthony approached and greeted Olivia.

Olivia linked her arm with mine. "Eva, this is my cousin, Anthony. Handsome, right?"

... Handsome.

To be honest, Anthony was very handsome. He had shed the awkwardness of his high school uniform and now wore a simple casual sweatshirt, exuding a sunny and vibrant charm.

But he was Olivia's cousin!

How small was this city?

"Yeah, he's quite handsome... " I forced a smile.

Olivia continued introducing me. "This is Eva, she's..."

"I know." Anthony's voice was still deep and pleasant. "We were high school classmates."

"What a coincidence!" Olivia exclaimed.

Then she whispered to me, "My cousin saw you in my social media and kept asking about you. Now that you've broken up with Andres, look at my cousin, tall and handsome..."

"Ahem..." Anthony seemed slightly uncomfortable. "Let's go eat."

"Since you know each other, I'll leave you to it... " Olivia winked at me as she left.

Anthony and I were high school classmates, but not just classmates. We were a well-known couple back then.

Now, walking side by side on the university campus, it felt like we were back in the summer of high school.

We used to meet under the guise of studying, holding a few books and finding a shady spot to share our thoughts.

"I heard you broke up?" Anthony was the first to speak.

"Yeah, we did." I smiled, probably Olivia told him.

"What was the reason?" He didn't look at me.

"Oh, he said he was tired of it."

Anthony was silent for a moment, then spoke as if to comfort me, "That's his character flaw."

I didn't want to discuss these messy things with him. "Why are you at our school?"

"Because of you."

His words floated in the wind, and I didn't catch them. "What?"

"Nothing."

Anthony seemed to speak less than before. "Let me treat you to a meal."

"What's for our meal later?"

"Barbecue. You like it, don't you?"

I did like barbecue, but Andres found it greasy and disgusting, so I hadn't had it much in recent years.

I was surprised Anthony remembered.

"Anthony, you don't have to pity me."

Anthony paused, suddenly stopping in his tracks.

"No, I just... missed you."

I turned back in shock. "What did you say?"

Anthony lowered his eyes, not looking at me, but his face was stubbornly serious.

"You broke up, right? I want to get back together with you."

"Are you out of your mind?" I found it utterly ridiculous.

"Not to mention I just broke up yesterday, we haven't seen each other for four years, Anthony. Not four days, not four months, four years! You really don't need to pity me."

I received a pornographic video. "Do you like this?" The man speaking in the video is my husband, Mark, whom I haven't seen for several months. He is naked, his shirt and pants scattered on the ground, thrusting forcefully on a woman whose face I can't see, her plump and round breasts bouncing vigorously. I can clearly hear the slapping sounds in the video, mixed with lustful moans and grunts. "Yes, yes, fuck me hard, baby," the woman screams ecstatically in response. "You naughty girl!" Mark stands up and flips her over, slapping her buttocks as he speaks. "Stick your ass up!" The woman giggles, turns around, sways her buttocks, and kneels on the bed. I feel like someone has poured a bucket of ice water on my head. It's bad enough that my husband is having an affair, but what's worse is that the other woman is my own sister, Bella. ************************************************************************************************************************ "I want to get a divorce, Mark," I repeated myself in case he didn't hear me the first time-even though I knew he'd heard me clearly. He stared at me with a frown before answering coldly, "It's not up to you! I'm very busy, don't waste my time with such boring topics, or try to attract my attention!" The last thing I was going to do was argue or bicker with him. "I will have the lawyer send you the divorce agreement," was all I said, as calmly as I could muster. He didn't even say another word after that and just went through the door he'd been standing in front of, slamming it harshly behind him. My eyes lingered on the knob of the door a bit absentmindedly before I pulled the wedding ring off my finger and placed it on the table. I grabbed my suitcase, which I'd already had my things packed in and headed out of the house.

The Truth About His Mistress

I was four months pregnant, a photographer excited for our future, attending a sophisticated baby brunch. Then I saw him, my husband Michael, with another woman, and a newborn introduced as "his son." My world shattered as a torrent of betrayal washed over me, magnified by Michael's dismissive claim I was "just being emotional." His mistress, Serena, taunted me, revealing Michael had discussed my pregnancy complications with her, then slapped me, causing a terrifying cramp. Michael sided with her, publicly shaming me, demanding I leave "their" party, as a society blog already paraded them as a "picture-perfect family." He fully expected me to return, to accept his double life, telling his friends I was "dramatic" but would "always come back." The audacity, the calculated cruelty of his deception, and Serena's chilling malice, fueled a cold, hard rage I barely recognized. How could I have been so blind, so trusting of the man who gaslighted me for months while building a second family? But on the plush carpet of that lawyer's office, as he turned his back on me, a new, unbreakable resolve solidified. They thought I was broken, disposable, easily manipulated – a "reasonable" wife who would accept a sham separation. They had no idea my calm acceptance was not surrender; it was strategy, a quiet promise to dismantle everything he held dear. I would not be handled; I would not understand; I would end this, and make sure their perfect family charade crumbled into dust.
