I sent a message to remind my younger brother to collect his birthday present.

He replied in an instant: "You slut! Go to hell!"

Afterwards, instead of comforting me, my brother said, "Ava, my girlfriend just cares about me too much. You can't get mad at her!"

I was fuming with anger.

Friend requests from Kevin's friends flooded in. "Ava, it was my girlfriend who was using my phone just now. She didn't know it was you. "My girlfriend just cares about me too much. I took over the company's business right after graduation, while my parents stepped aside and became hands-off bosses.

I was the one financing Kevin's college education, and I gave him a monthly living allowance of ten thousand dollars.

The screen continued to display "typing."

I gave a faint smile and blocked and deleted the account in one smooth motion.

Just then, Kevin called.

I swiped the answer button.

"Speak up quickly. And when did you start seeing someone? Come clean about it."

Kevin's voice came through, a mix of urgency and a hint of whining. "Ava, you've finally picked up the phone! I'll tell you everything. I promise. Luna is my new girlfriend, a really cute girl from my department." It's my fault for not setting your proper remarks, and she felt insecure, which led to the misunderstanding." Misunderstanding? How the hell was this a misunderstanding?

I grunted in response, suppressing my anger and continuing to ask, "It's normal to have a girlfriend in college, but how do you plan to deal with this?"

Kevin paused for a while before speaking cautiously. "Ava, what about you apologizing to her? Luna just cried, and it really broke my heart. I chased her for so long to win her over. I can't let this..."
