Chapter 1 Having A Crush

"Raise your head and do what I ask of you, do it! Do it, or you won't get paid for the day" he grabbed her head and forced it towards his member. "Do it fast, or I'll have to torture you. Suck my member, and do it very fast," the tall-looking man yelled with a raised brow, and a frown on his face as he held the young lady's hair.
"Lorenzo, this is not part of my job, my work here is to clean and keep the house tidy. Please let go of my hair," the young lady yelled as she tried to force herself free from the man's grip.
My both ears were blocked when I was listening to this interesting audio book series. It's one of my favorites. Mr. Franklin was present in the class, but I found his teaching uninteresting. So instead of staring stupidly at what he was saying, I decided to listen to my audiobook series.
"Eleanora, Eleanora," Mr. Franklin called twice, but it was futile, my attention was entirely fixed on the voice playing from the audio series on my phone. Hazel slowly touched me on the leg with her foot to get my attention. This made me flinch, thinking something had grabbed my leg, probably a cockroach, because I despise that creature a lot.
I shifted my gaze towards my leg and saw that it was Hazel who had touched me with her foot. I raised my head and looked at her. With my left hand on my left ear, I pulled out the earpiece just before I was about to yell at Hazel for distracting me during the most durable part of the audiobook series, Mr Franklin voice cut in.
"Eleanora, why are you distracted? what exactly are you doing? And Why is your head down?" Mr. Franklin asked with a frown on his face as he glared at me angrily.
I was speechless for some seconds, unable to grasp exactly what to say that would cover my insolence.
"Urm! I'm sorry, Mr. Franklin. I won't repeat that again," I said with a smile on my lips trying to lessen the tension as I noticed everybody was staring at me. Mr. Franklin can be cruel and annoying most times, so I tried to make things blow over by smiling with the hope of it working for me.
"This should be the last warning, Eleanora," Mr. Franklin smirked before turning to continue his teaching. I shifted my gaze towards Hazel, who was supposed to inform me just before Mr. Franklin noticed. But she didn't; instead, she was looking at her crush, John, completely distracted as well.
Hazel has always been my close friend in school. We literally do everything together, from coming to school to going back home. My school, Mistick High College, was a place where teenage werewolves were taught about their abilities and how to transform, and a lot more. This was my first year because I just recently got admitted into the school, as I was about to turn eighteen. Our pack, Creek Valley, was known for its large landscape and a very strong territory.
Some moments later, the class was over, and we both stood up to go home since that was the last lecture we had for the day.
"Hazel, I'm stressed. I can't wait to get home," I groaned as I held Hazel's left hand and kept dragging it.
"Hey, Eleanora, calm down. Give me some seconds to pack up my books," Hazel said while trying to arrange her book. As soon as she was done, we both walked out of the hall. Just as we stepped outside, we began hearing some murmurs from the students around us. What could they be murmuring about? I asked myself as I tried to observe the surroundings.
My eyes suddenly caught sight of a tall, muscular guy with gray hair, and in an instant, I froze. This guy turned out to be Alexis, the younger brother to the current alpha of Creek Valley pack. His presence came with an aura that captured the attention of almost all the girls and boys, due to his popularity and his handsomeness.
I had always had a crush on Alexis; I always wished he was my mate. But deep inside, I knew I wasn't in his league and that he would definitely reject me. Alexis was well known as a playboy because he mostly roamed around with high-class girls. At my level now, I have no chance and don't ever think he would ever fall for someone like me.
"Eleanora, it's Alexis, your big-time crush, and I think he's coming towards this direction," Hazel murmured to my ear, snapping me out of my thoughts. I was so lost in thought that I didn't even notice.
Immediately, I snapped out of my thoughts and quickly looked down, feeling nervous. Confused on why he was coming towards our direction. Could it be that he saw the way I was looking at him? Could he have found my staring offensive or something? I kept pounding in thought with my head down.
As Alexis got closer, he spoke in a calm, deep voice. "Hey, I noticed you staring at me. What could it be? Is my dress ruined, or is my outfit not matching?"
"No, no, sir! I was just watching the birds flying," I replied nervously as my cheeks got red in an instant. I was confused about the lies I was about to come up with, but at that moment, nothing reasonable came to mind.
"Birds, you say?" Alexis replied with a smile as he turned to walk away. With a calm voice, he added, "You are such a pretty lady; lying is not something that fits your standards."
I was dazzled by his words. "What did he just say? I mumbled to myself with my lips trembling in surprise. Alexis actually talked to me today! It had always been my prayer to have a conversation with him, and it finally happened-he even complimented my beauty. I thought to myself as I stared at Alexis walking further away.
