I have been married to my husband Zhou Yin for a year, and our married life has been filled with love, with both our parents very satisfied with us. However, I discovered that he was deceiving me about working late, and after secretly following him, I uncovered a shocking secret: our marriage is a setup. This secret feels like I have fallen into an endless abyss, and what terrifies me even more is that my in-laws are aware of it too-they actually condoned it! My mind is filled with endless hatred, and I want to take revenge.

Chapter 1

I'd recently noticed that my husband, Kory Marsh, never came home after work. Instead, he always headed to his friend Michael's place.

He'd been staying out all night more often than not.

This puzzled me because Kory, whom I'd been married to for a year, had always been considerate and gentle.

Even my parents were quite pleased with this son-in-law, constantly urging us to have a child.

But whenever the topic came up, Kory just mumbled and brushed it off.

I found some time to talk to Kory, asking if he didn't want children.

He said he thought we were both still young and that having a child would be more of a burden on me, so he wanted me to enjoy a few more carefree years.

I was deeply moved and hugged this perfect husband, showering him with kisses.

However, he never liked me getting too close, even in intimate moments, where I had to take the initiative.

I just assumed he was shy and didn't think much of it.

But today, I stumbled upon Kory's earth-shattering secret.

I followed him after work as he stood outside the office, texting on his phone.

Two seconds later, my phone buzzed with a message.

"Honey, I'm working late tonight, no need to wait for me about dinner."

A weight settled in my chest. Kory had clearly left work early, so why lied about working late?

Then he drove to a hotel.

By the time we reached the hotel, I had a hunch but still couldn't comprehend it.

I was attractive, came from a well-off family, treated Kory's parents like my own, and took care of Kory with utmost tenderness and generosity. I believed I had done everything right.

Fueled by anger, I followed Kory into the hotel.

I lied to the front desk, saying I was Kory's friend and needed to return something he left behind.

The receptionist gave me his room number.

When I found Kory's room, the door was ajar.

Before I could get closer, I heard Kory's low growl, and I knew exactly what that sound was.

I was eager to burst in and see which whore was stealing my man.

Just as I was about to push the door open, I heard more than one man's voice inside.

What, a group encounter?

But as I listened more carefully, I couldn't help but cover my mouth in shock.

There was no woman in the room, not at all.

It was Kory and another man's voice.

I was frozen by the overwhelming revelation.

They soon finished, and I recognized the other man as Michael Norris, the friend Kory had mentioned before.

Breathless, Michael said to Kory, "I've missed you so much lately. If only we could be like this forever."

Kory, in a tone of tenderness I had never heard before, comforted him, "We can be like this forever."

Michael asked, "When were you going to tell your parents?"

Kory paused, "They've known for a long time. They are the ones who arrange my marriage to Gillian."

A thunderous realization hit me-his parent had known all along that Kory liked men, and I was the fool who had been deceived.

Michael then asked, "What about your wife?"

Kory chuckled, "She's completely infatuated, head over heels in love with me. Anyway, her family was wealthy. Once we get her money, we'll go to a new life in Europe together."

Michael laughed softly, "You're so heartless, little prick. She even wants to have your child but you want to steal her money."

Kory gave Michael a playful smack right on his butt.

"I'm heartless to Gillian, but I've given my whole heart to you."

Michael gave Kory a kiss, "I know, that's why I'd got a plan for you."

"What plan?"
