He lay there, his slender build and striking features a constant reminder of his dhampir heritage – a mix of human and vampire blood.

In the grand hall, Travis joined the other dhampirs, their tasks assigned by the ruthless vampire lord, Valois. Travis's assignment was to serve the lord's daughter, the beautiful but cold-hearted, Lady Aurelia.

He discovered the legend of the Blood God, a powerful being who would unite the vampire world and bring peace to the dhampirs. The prophecy spoke of a half-breed, born of both worlds, who would bridge the divide.
