Chapter 1 The pink coloured flower

Waking up to a day filled with love and happiness, the smiles alone could tell how happy Bethany was.

But what exactly made her this excited, her mom will be discharged today, that alone was what made her glow like the morning sun.

Bethany Willson, daughter of the poor farmers Mr and Mrs Willson Toms one of the minor citizens in the United States

Bethany was beautiful, tall, slim with a very curvy figure

She had a very cute smile and the most innocent face

She was the only child of the Wilson's,her beauty was always concealed by the big and heavy clothes she puts on her parents often told her of her radiance and magnificent beauty but she always doubted her self

She wore old looking clothes kept for her by her mother

She couldn't afford nice dresses,so she never knew what it meant to be beautiful

So today she was all set to go pick her mother from the hospital

She will be going alone, because her father was out already to clear the bills in the hospital as early as it was in the morning

She stepped out and locked the door and turned to leave, just then she spotted a beautiful pink bag,she crashed down slowly to pick it up, revealing the content of the bag

A pink coloured flower....

The flower would be nice if it was called a rose but it wasn't red so It was a pink rose flower

Funny isn't it, Bethany was lost in thought thinking who must have dropped something so nice for her,she didn't have a friend close by or any admirer ever since she was a teen till now she's a Nineteen.

Bethany quickly concluded that someone may have dropped it mistakenly or perhaps it was delivered to the wrong house

So she carefully put the flower back to the bag and dropped it carefully close to her door

She hurriedly left for her destination

The hospital was just few blocks away so she whistled while walking majestically there

My world revolved around Jax Harding, my older brother's captivating rockstar friend. From sixteen, I adored him; at eighteen, I clung to his casual promise: "When you're 22, maybe I'll settle down." That offhand comment became my life's beacon, guiding every choice, meticulously planning my twenty-second birthday as our destiny. But on that pivotal day in a Lower East Side bar, clutching my gift, my dream exploded. I overheard Jax' s cold voice: "Can't believe Savvy's showing up. She' s still hung up on that stupid thing I said." Then the crushing plot: "We' re gonna tell Savvy I' m engaged to Chloe, maybe even hint she' s pregnant. That should scare her off." My gift, my future, slipped from my numb fingers. I fled into the cold New York rain, devastated by betrayal. Later, Jax introduced Chloe as his "fiancée" while his bandmates mocked my "adorable crush"-he did nothing. As an art installation fell, he saved Chloe, abandoning me to severe injury. In the hospital, he came for "damage control," then shockingly shoved me into a fountain, leaving me to bleed, calling me a "jealous psycho." How could the man I loved, who once saved me, become this cruel and publicly humiliate me? Why was my devotion seen as an annoyance to be brutally extinguished with lies and assault? Was I just a problem, my loyalty met with hatred? I would not be his victim. Injured and betrayed, I made an unshakeable vow: I was done. I blocked his number and everyone connected to him, severing ties. This was not an escape; this was my rebirth. Florence awaited, a new life on my terms, unburdened by broken promises.
