Chapter 1 Mother's dying wish.
Elis held her mother's hand as she watches her in pain.She coughs heavily,looking at her daughter she smiles slightly raising her hand she held Elis by the cheek.
"Elis, called her mother weakly.
"Mum,answered Elis holding her mother's hand.
"I know I could not make life comfortable for you, right now I am causing you pain still on my sick bed I'm sorry Elis for not giving you the best
part of.
"Mum you were never a sort of pain to me.
"I never planned on telling you this but since I'm dying I have no option but to tell you.
"Mum you won't die, said Elis trying to hide her fear.
"I won't last long here, Elis my loving daughter it's about time you know about your father.

Yes your dad,your was a good man when I first met he made promises to me,I was blindly I love so I believed his promises,he told me he will marry me, I became pregnant for him ,he abandoned me when I needed him the most. Your father was from a rich family since I was poor I could not marry him ,he introduced me to his family but I was disapproved since I was poor,he left me one day promising to come back for us since I was pregnant already. I waited for years hoping he will come back but he didn't, I came to a realisation that he had forgotten about us when I watched the news one day, he was getting married to a billionaire's child I cried out my eyes that day since then I singlehandedly took care of you till now. I vowed never to tell you him but since I'm dying you have to know the truth.
" Oh, Mum, said Elis sobbing softly.
"I want you avenge for my sake.
"I will do anything for your sake.
"Hmmm,smiled her Mum. She gives Elis a key, Elis takes the key.
"You will find everything you need to know with that key.

"You should return back to work,I have taken most of your time. You should go back to work.
"Mum I want to stay with you, the money is not important, you're.
"You should go I'm fine.

"Okay Mum I will see you later.

"Bye Mum, Elis left the hospital hoping to met her Mum later but she did not know it will be the last time she will see her mother.
Two hours later,Elis came to see her mum she went to the room but found out it was locked she was surprised, she went to meet a nurse and was directed to the doctor's office
"Sir did anything occur while I was away?,asked Elis.
"I'm sorry for your loss Elis but your Mum passed away ,while you were away, we couldn't save her.
"Sir, please tell me its true, my ...my mum is not dead.Elis held her face and started crying their is nothing anyone can tell her right now.
Elis went home in tears she could not stop crying. A week later, Elis's Mum funeral was arranged neighbours and friends came to console her.

"Everything will be alright ,they said words of comfort to her, Elis cried out her eyes ignoring everyone's condolences.
