A story of a girl tired of her parents controlling ways, finds out more then she ever bargained for. Throwing her into situations she never asked for nor wanted.
Chapter 1 Cavern
Waking up with a blazing headache, and an immense amount of pain rushing through her body. Opening her eyes to inspect what the hell happened to her, struggling to move she looks down with blurry vision trying to free herself. Wrapped with vines and roots, only able to move one of her hands. Pushing past searing pain, she starts but freeing one of her arms, using it now to release both arms and soon her upper torso. Now sitting up, she has a more sense of situation; she can now see that she must have fallen into a pit filled with vines and roots.
She can make out what seems like a tunnel coming from one side of this massive cavern. As she starts freeing her legs, she can feel a vibration coming from the ground. So violently, it's shaking dirt loose from the walls of the hole. Now panicking, she quickly pulls herself the rest of the way out of the vines incasing her.
As the vibration comes closer she struggles to pull herself through the rubbish and into the tunnel. Now standing on solid ground, she notices a small beam of light coming from the other end. As she crawls her way through the tunnel, she frozen in place by a spine twisting roar. Freaking out, she doesn't move a muscle. Even with all of the scrapes and bruises, she stays silent; just hoping whatever is outside won't notice her and leave. Finally after what seemed like forever, she started to squirm her way down the hole more. As the light became bigger and wider, her heart lifted. Just knowing she could finally be out in the fresh air, pushed through all the pain to see the sky again. However when she made it to the other side, all of her hopes melted as the night sky was filled with a silhouette of a dastardly beast. Slobbering, teeth showing, and stand nearly eight feet tall; she is now shuddering in her clothes.
Standing over her was this snarling humanoid beast. Eight feet tall, with bulging arms and legs, with patches of hair covering its entire body. Drool dripping from its open mouth, flowing between its sharp teeth and elongated k-9s. Being faced with this monstrosity, Jenny's mind was spiraling with, what seemed trivial now; moments that found her underneath this gargantuan beast. Flashing back, the argument with her mother led to the yelling and ending with dishes being thrown.
Jenny was screaming at her mother about all she wanted was to explore the world. And her mother yelling back, that the world is to dangerous of a place for a petite girl like her. Which Jenny responded by call her mother a coward. Telling her mother that her father and her were just scared of the outside world, that they never had any creativity to explore beyond their little town. End her statement by throwing a plate, that was handed down; and shattering it. Then storming to her room with a loud slam of her door. Leaving her mother in a speechless, stunned state.
