Chapter 1 Beat them up!

The rain poured down like a deluge, casting a sinister shadow over the deserted streets. Samuel's feet pounded the wet pavement in a desperate bid for safety. His pursuers closed in, their footsteps echoing through the night like a death knell.

"Catch him!" Seth's voice cut through the darkness, his gang responding with a chorus of menacing laughter.

Samuel's heart raced as he narrowly avoided a speeding car, his breath coming in ragged gasps. His toe caught on a stone, and he crashed to the ground, his vision blurring.

When he opened his eyes, the gang loomed over him, their faces twisted in cruel grins. Seth's laughter sent chills down his spine.

"What's with that look? Huh?" Seth taunted, his eyes gleaming with malevolence.

"You can't be serious, dude. You have to pay for what you did," Seth sneered.

Samuel's anger and fear boiled over. "Just let me go!"

"Don't fucking play smart with me!" Seth roared, his blow sending Samuel crashing to the ground.

Just as all hope seemed lost, a voice pierced the night. "Let him go!"

Nana and Ryan stood tall, their eyes blazing with determination.

Samuel's heart raced with hope. Had salvation arrived, or was it just another cruel twist of fate?

"Wait.. Where..? Fuck!" Sam cursed loudly, his mind reeling with confusion.

"What!?" Nana and Ryan shouted in unison, their faces set in fierce determination.

Samuel's eyes locked onto the two newcomers, his heart pounding with desperation. "Why are you alone? Where are the people?"
