Chapter 1 The Accidental Text

Emily Wilson stared at her computer screen, her eyes blurring as she tried to make sense of the marketing data in front of her. It was 8:45 PM on a Thursday, and she was still at the office, trying to meet the looming deadline for the Smith account. She had been working non-stop since morning, and her brain was starting to feel like mush.

Just as she was about to call it quits, her phone buzzed on her desk. She groaned, thinking it was probably her boss, Mark, checking in on her progress. But as she glanced at the screen, her heart skipped a beat. The text was from an unknown number, and all it said was:

"Hey, beautiful. Can't stop thinking about you. Want to grab drinks tonight?"

Emily's face flushed as she quickly typed out a response. "Who is this? I think you have the wrong number." She hesitated for a moment before hitting send.

A few minutes passed, and Emily had almost forgotten about the strange text when her phone buzzed again. This time, the response made her laugh out loud.

"Oh, sorry about that! I meant to send that to my friend, Sarah. I'm such an idiot!"

Emily couldn't help but feel a little relieved that it was just a mistake. She typed out a quick response, trying to play it cool. "No worries! We've all been there. Good luck with Sarah, though!"

As she hit send, Emily couldn't help but wonder who this mysterious person was. She quickly pushed the thought aside and refocused on her work.

Meanwhile, Ryan Thompson was sitting at his desk, feeling like a total idiot. He had meant to send that flirtatious text to his friend, Sarah, who he had been trying to convince to go out with him for weeks. But as he looked at his phone, he realized he had accidentally sent it to the wrong number.

Ryan's face turned bright red as he quickly typed out an apology text. He couldn't believe he had just called some random stranger "beautiful" and asked them out for drinks. He was mortified.

As he waited for a response, Ryan couldn't help but wonder who this person was. Was it a guy? A girl? Were they going to rip him apart for his mistake?

When the response came, Ryan let out a sigh of relief. The person was nice about it, and they even joked about it. He felt a little better, but he still couldn't shake off the feeling of embarrassment.

As the night went on, Emily and Ryan continued to work on their respective projects, each of them unaware that their accidental text exchange would be the start of something much bigger.

I received a pornographic video. "Do you like this?" The man speaking in the video is my husband, Mark, whom I haven't seen for several months. He is naked, his shirt and pants scattered on the ground, thrusting forcefully on a woman whose face I can't see, her plump and round breasts bouncing vigorously. I can clearly hear the slapping sounds in the video, mixed with lustful moans and grunts. "Yes, yes, fuck me hard, baby," the woman screams ecstatically in response. "You naughty girl!" Mark stands up and flips her over, slapping her buttocks as he speaks. "Stick your ass up!" The woman giggles, turns around, sways her buttocks, and kneels on the bed. I feel like someone has poured a bucket of ice water on my head. It's bad enough that my husband is having an affair, but what's worse is that the other woman is my own sister, Bella. ************************************************************************************************************************ "I want to get a divorce, Mark," I repeated myself in case he didn't hear me the first time-even though I knew he'd heard me clearly. He stared at me with a frown before answering coldly, "It's not up to you! I'm very busy, don't waste my time with such boring topics, or try to attract my attention!" The last thing I was going to do was argue or bicker with him. "I will have the lawyer send you the divorce agreement," was all I said, as calmly as I could muster. He didn't even say another word after that and just went through the door he'd been standing in front of, slamming it harshly behind him. My eyes lingered on the knob of the door a bit absentmindedly before I pulled the wedding ring off my finger and placed it on the table. I grabbed my suitcase, which I'd already had my things packed in and headed out of the house.
