Chapter 1 1

"Son, wear this. This necklace is perfect for you!" Tita said and I was in front of a big mirror,

getting dressed for graduation and Navi's Mama didn't agree that my makeup wasn't fancy.

"Auntie isn't it too much?" I ask and she laugh, pat my head, "You deserve it hija. After all you

done and it's your day. Your birthday is coming soon so you have to enjoy and let's celebrate.

That's not bad, enjoy and being happy is free, okay?" I smiled and fixed my hair. I just curled the

end for a moment and I stood up, put on my gown and put on the bracelet, I was still wearing the

necklace that Navi gave me.

We went out of the room holding hands and Navi was outside, leaning on her car and the big

smile on her lips when she saw us approaching her, she grabbed my hand when we got to her and

kissed me.

"You look amazing baby, oh god. I won't let you slip away from me, I swear to god." She put her

arms around me and Tita's big smile on us. "You two are really good, I want a grandchild son.

I'm getting old and you know that," Tita joked and Navi opened the door for her Mom and Tita

got in there, I was in the passenger seat and got in there.

The whole trip we just laughed and joked inside the car. He and Navi are talking about what kind

of celebration they can give me, I want to celebrate with my friends and with Tita. Maybe a

dinner is good, I will invite Nila and Sheen later.

But if they have a plan, it's fine, I'll call Papa later to tell him that I'm graduating today.

Tita and I got out of the car first when we got to the campus, I took a deep breath and smiled, I've

been staying on campus for a long time and since then I haven't gotten tired of entering and

being a part of this campus. This is where Navi and I fell in love and the memories that became

useful colors in my college life.

"Let's you hija," Tita said and I held her hand, Navi waved and led me to where my friends were,

they walked inside and I approached Sheen and he turned to me, when he saw me he was in tears

and hugged me

We took a picture before the start of our trip, I haven't seen Nila in a while. "Oh my god, I can't

believe that we are here. I'm scared and nervous." I held Sheen's hand and the dance started. I

was in front and Sheen was behind me.

I passed by Navi and her mom, I waved and quickly sat in our designated seat, waited for the rest

of our classmates to walk and when they finished, we prayed and the guests gave their speeches.

Sheen and I were talking about his plan. He and his parents will eat outside and celebrate there,

he said he will join me in the evening if the four of us go to a bar, I'm excited and next time the

three of us will apply to the company we want to join.

"Hey, come on!" We stood up and started to call our department, our professors gave a speech

and our classmates were called first, I was at the end because my last name is Sanjorjo.

When my hand got cold and Sheen was called, he walked up to the stage. Next I walked and said

the awards I got, the big smile on my lips as I went up. Everything was slow, I shook hands and

accepted the diploma. I bowed to them and they all smiled at me.

I feel like I'm in a cloud while I'm going down, I wonder why Navi is on my way and the size of

his smile. I got off the stage and suddenly Navi knelt in front of me, took out a small box and

opened it in front of me now.

I was stunned by him and stopped calling the names of the ggraduates because they were all

looking at me and Navi now.

I finally got closer to Navi and she was smiling at me, she wiped her sweat and her hand was

shaking now.

"Baby, I know that you said that you are not ready to settle, but I hope you are willing to marry

me, so I am securing what's mine. So please be my fiance and let's marry when you're ready." I

cover my mouth and nod again and again.

"Of course I will baby!" Navi stood up and greeted me with a big hug, nervousness and fear

mixing in my system now. My chest was pounding, people were applauding and my eyes could

not hold back the tears.

Navi's hand trembled when he put the engagement ring on my hand, he yelled yes and the big

smile of those looking at us now. Navi suddenly kissed me and didn't care about the people

watching us.

He is true to his words, he wants to marry me and this is a proof that he is determined in what he

wants and that he is making our dreams come true, I just didn't expect that Navi will propose at

the middle of graduation.

"Oh god, you're an angel from above." He picked me up and graduation continued, he took me

outside and Navi's hand was sweating, he gave me the flower and the smile was still big on his

lips, we both took a picture.

"I want my proposal with you to be special and unforgettable," Navi explained and I kissed him

once again. "Of course baby, everything that we had now is special to me." I gave Navi a big

smile and looked at the ring he gave me just now.

"This is fascinating baby," I said and looked at Navi, he's watching me and I saw a glimpse of

sadness on his eyes now, all of a sudden I was worried for Navi.

On past few weeks, I didn't ask how he is. If he's okay and how are the business meetings he

went to, because he doesn't tell me and what if he doesn't want to let me know, so what and how.
