Chapter 1 TLR 1

That night, Elisa, who was deliberately made drunk by someone, is now fast asleep on the bed in a luxurious room. However, when Elisa woke up, her eyes opened wide because she was shocked by her whereabouts.

"Where am I? This place is really strange," said Elisa as she continued to look at the room.

She was shocked again when she saw that on the sofa in the corner of the room, there was a handsome man who was none other than Anderson, a big boss from the company where Elisa worked. Elisa was silent, her heart beating fast, while the man just smiled, looking at her.

"Why do you look scared like that, Elisa?" Anderson stood up and then walked over to Elisa sitting on the bed.

"Stop!" Elisa asked the man not to approach her.

Anderson laughed at Elisa's strange behavior, and then Anderson said, "You don't deserve to shout like that! I'm your boss!"

"I know! Please explain why I am in this place?" Elisa looked panicked at that moment.

"Aren't you aware? I brought you here because last night I saw you very drunk at a discotheque. Do you remember that?" Anderson stared at him sharply.

Elisa immediately fell silent as if she remembered what happened last night. Elisa realized that last night she was invited by Alex, who was none other than her boyfriend, but Elisa didn't realize that Anderson said she was drunk.

"Wait! Was I drunk last night? Because of what I felt at that time, I was drinking normally with my girlfriend," said Elisa, her face still looking confused.

"Elisa. Drunk people won't remember anything, so that you know! The man you think is your lover, he's a bastard!" Anderson replied affirmatively.

Elisa's eyes opened wide, shocked to hear Anderson's words.

"What are you saying? He's a bastard?" Elisa asked quietly.

"Yes! He was the man who deliberately made you drunk. Luckily, I was there at that time. Otherwise, your fate might have been different! In my opinion, he deliberately made you drunk; after that, he could enjoy your body, Elisa," answered Anderson with a smile. Sour.

"No way! I understand his attitude, and I've been dating him for almost three years; I think he's a good man who really cares about me!" Elisa protested.

"Hehe... That's what you think! Do you want to know who he is? He's one of the police's fugitives because he has a serious case, and many people have become victims. If you don't believe it, look at this and please read it!" Anderson then showed a piece of paper, which said that Alex was a fugitive in a serial murder case.

Seeing the news, Elisa immediately fell silent; her hands holding the paper were shaking. She never expected that Alex, a man she loved very much and had good behavior, would turn out to be a criminal and wanted by the police.

"I don't believe all this! Because I know he's a good man!" Elisa still couldn't believe what she read on that piece of paper.

"Never mind, Elisa. You don't need to expect him anymore! I'm saying this because I feel concerned about you," replied Anderson.

Elisa fell silent, looking at the handsome man. In her heart, Elisa still wondered why the man who was her big boss cared so much about her. However, Elisa didn't believe the news; even though Anderson insisted that what he said was true, Elisa still didn't.

"No! I don't believe that fake news at all!" Elisa emphasized.

"Now, you may not believe it, but later, you will know the truth!" Anderson replied with a sarcastic smile.

At that moment, he heard a knock on the door. Without thinking, Anderson immediately opened the door and went into the room. Elisa immediately widened her eyes when she saw that her friend had come.

"Please come in," said Anderson, smiling.

"Thank you, sir," replied Sezen.

Then Sezen walked over to Elisa, who came in and sat down in her original place.

"Why did you come here?" asked Elisa, confused.

"My boss called me. He told me that you were here, and I'm very grateful that you survived that bastard," answered Sezen, and then he sat down.

Hearing Sezen's words, Elisa immediately frowned because she still didn't understand the real situation. Sezen explains that the man is a werewolf. Suddenly, Elisa's eyes widened when she heard this.

"Hey, Sezen! What are you saying?"

"Elisa. I beg you to forget that man because he is not an ordinary human. He is a werewolf and very dangerous; that man likes you because there is something special about you," replied Sezen.

"No! You must be lying! Because there can't be werewolves in modern times. Werewolves only exist in fairy tale books!" Elisa protested.

Seeing that Elisa didn't believe what he was saying, Sezen opened his cellphone screen and showed a video of a very tragic incident.

"Is that a movie shoot?" Elisa asked quietly.

"No, Elisa! I secretly took this video, and this incident happened last night. If you still don't believe it, you can see it on television because all television shows the news," answered Sezen.

Elisa looked confused by what her friend said. At that time, Sezen also said that Anderson was the one who saved Elisa when she was at the discotheque.

"I swear I don't understand all this; I don't remember what happened last night," said Elisa.

"You don't need to remember last night's events. Now you don't need to think about that man anymore because he has caused chaos and has claimed many victims in this city," replied Sezen.

Even though Sezen said that Elisa's little heart couldn't lie, she loved her lover because she thought Alex was a good and caring man. So, Elisa found this news difficult to accept.

After being in that room for a long time, Sezen finally invited Elisa to go home immediately. They lived together in a house they rented in that city. At around five in the afternoon, the two finally arrived, and they both went straight in.

"Why do you look weak, Elisa?" Sezen asked.

"I'm still confused by the unclear news," answered Elisa, then immediately sat down in a chair.

"I know! It may not be easy to accept this reality, but everything I said is true! I beg you to obey my words; you no longer have to hope for that man!!" Sezen emphasized.

Elisa just smiled and then shook her head. She did that because she didn't want to hear Sezen say bad things about Alex. But not for Sezen. Seeing Elisa smile and nod her head made Sezen feel very happy.

"Now you just rest at home; I want to go out first; there's something I want to buy. Remember! Don't leave the house alone!" Sezen stared at him sharply.

"Okay, I'm tired too; I want to rest," replied Elisa.

Not long after, Sezen rushed to leave and left Elisa alone in the house. When left alone, Elisa kept quiet, thinking about something she thought was just a joke from Sezen. At that time, Elisa was shocked when she heard the bell ring; Elisa immediately got up from her seat and walked towards the door.

When the door opened, Elisa immediately fell silent with wide eyes because it turned out that Alex had come. The handsome man smiled.

"Hey, why do you look surprised?"

Elisa was shocked, then immediately said, "No. I didn't think you were the one who came; please come in."

Alex smiled and stepped out, following Elisa, his girlfriend. On a sofa, the two of them immediately sat down. But Elisa wasn't her usual self; she looked nervous around Alex.

"Why are you looking at me like that? Is there something strange about me?" Alex asked, surprised.

"I still don't understand; why didn't you take me home last night? Where did you go?" Elisa asked back.

"Last night, I didn't remember anything, and when I woke up, I was lying in front of the door of my house; I also don't know who took me there," answered Alex.

Elisa frowned.

"Do you know what happened last night at the discotheque where we were drinking? Or were you the perpetrator?"

"Why do you say that?" Alex looked surprised to hear his lover's words.

Elodie took a deep breath and knocked, the sound echoing in the quiet corridor. A moment of silence passed, broken only by the pounding of her heart. Finally, the door snicked open, revealing a surprised Dashiell. 'Can't you see the Do Not Disturb sign? We don't want-' His initial frown quickly morphed into confusion at the sight of his wife. 'What are you doing here?' he demanded. 'Your girlfriend invited me,' Elodie replied, her voice laced with icy calm. She tried to peer past him, but his broad frame blocked the view. A saccharine voice chimed in from within the room. 'Elodie? Oh dear, we didn't mean for you to find out this way. It's just that-' Elodie cut her short. 'Oh please, Selene.
