Chapter 1 NEW BEGINNINGS
"Bang bang!!" That was the sound of me getting down from the stairs as I was excited for school. I was finally getting back to school. oops!! you don't know the full story so let's take it back a little.
"My name is Genevieve, my friends call me Gennie for short and I'm a junior at Oakland High,Last year during summer break while we were so excited for summer camp as usual, I had packed my bags a week before and I had been dreaming every night about that day I know you're wondering why it was because I was going to be seeing my childhood crush Jason. Unfortunately things didn't go as I had imagined as Jason was with another girl by the time I arrived at camp and they were both flirty with each other, I was so frustrated that I wasn't looking where I was going and then the last thing I remembered that day was my best friend Martha shouting "Gennie look back!". Yes I was in an accident a fatal one at that, I had to spend the rest of the summer and a little of the beginning of my Grade 11 first semester in the hospital waiting for the day when my broken leg would recover and just last week the doctor came while I was sulking as usual and said I would be able to go home soon as my recovery was almost done and that's how we got to today." Back to the present of course I was excited to go back as I would finally get to see my friends again after a long while and when I meant friends I meant the other two friends I had Nicholas and Anita they were both siblings we grew up together and they both decided to spend their summer somewhere else last summer hence the reason I hadn't seen them in a while. I rushed down the stairs and met my mom in the kitchen making a big breakfast I chuckled lightly and told her
"Mom, I can't eat all this, not with the excitement in me right now" then I grabbed a waffle and dashed out of the house as I walked out there stood my dad smiling and grinning from cheek to cheek. He then said,
"To help you reduce stress I bought you this''
as he reached for a pair of keys in his pocket and in my front was my own car though it wasn't what I dreamed it would be but I was so excited I jumped on him out if excitement
"Dad you've made my day I said in an excited tone" I was still celebrating and imagining when I heard a voice saying,
"Ge...Gennie you're still on me" it was my dad
I had not gotten down from him and was still fantasizing I got down and apologized
"sorry dad was caught up in the moment" he only chuckled.
I then got into the car and drove off to school as I entered the school environment all I got was weird stares and murmurs, I didn't bother about all that all I wanted at that moment was for my friends to see me in my new ride and of course I saw them I drove towards them whined down the window and I said "hello there"
It was all screams. They were shocked to see me not just to only see me but also seeing me back on my feet and driving. We all exchanged pleasantries then Nicholas jokingly said
"You're looking all grown up uhn you little pumpkin" i just smiled in agreement and we all went in.
As I walked down the hallways, I noticed this really charming creature, he was like an angel in a human body, his eyes so blue and had an accurate jawline, was dressed very well and neatly and as I passed him he smelled so nice, I asked my friends,
"Hey Martha, Anita, who's cute boy over there?" They both answered in chorus with a smiley face "ohh that's Damian".
"He's the new hotshot that moved from Alaska this school year, he's cute right?" Martha asked,
I said "yes" with a really wide smile,as we admired Damian, Nicholas walked out on us in rage. As I sat down in class I thought to myself "how could a human look so cute and so handsome?" and then I thought to myself
"I must talk with this guy and get to know all he's about ''.
