Chapter 1 Louise Honda

Louise Honda Lewis tried to take her own life when she stood on the roof of a hospital building. She felt defeated because no one cared about her and no one loved her. Her biological mother also threw her in the trash without a second thought.

Freda brought Louise to the Lewis family when Louise was still an infant.

According to the Lewis family, Freda found her crying in a trash can and took pity on her, so they took her to her Lewis family home.

Since then, she has been living with the Lewis family, but the Lewis family members find it difficult to accept her as one of their own, and even Thomas doesn't like her very much.

She finds it difficult to completely calm down in the Lewis family, Lucy Lewis, the only daughter of Thomas and Freda Lewis, did everything in their power to ensure that Louise suffered at their hands. She always finds fault with everything Louise does.

Freda Lewis only brought Louise into the house because she thought her only daughter needed a playmate and friend.

She felt that Louise was the best candidate for it, so she adopted Louise and decided to train Louise as her own. But growing up, Lucy eventually got jealous and started scheming against Louise, marking Louise as a bad person, which triggered hatred in the heart of Freda Lewis.

From then on, Freda started finding fault in everything Louise did.

At Livingston International Elite School (LIES) during lunchtime, Lucy walked into the classroom secretly when everyone was in the cafeteria having their lunch. She stole Chloe's family bracelet and put it inside Louise's bag without anyone knowing. Everyone in Class B knows how precious that bracelet is to Chloe Nathan.

The bracelet was the Nathan's priceless heirloom. After lunch, all the students were going back to their respective classes. Lucy walked alongside her friends Scarlett and Stephanie.

Everyone could see how lost and confused Chloe looked as she searched for something all over the classroom. Lucy innocently walked towards Chloe, but the stressful task of searching for the heirloom had left her exhausted.

Chloe Nathan happens to be a girl from a prestigious family, and her father happens to be the third richest man in her country. When Chloe suggests ideas or helps me, it's like killing two birds with one stone.

"Chloe, are you looking for something?" Lucy asked gently. So Chloe stopped searching her and stared at her for a moment before answering.

"I'm looking for her family's bracelet. It was a gift from her mother, and I can't afford to lose it," Chloe said through tears.

"Then why don't you search everyone in the class? And why don't you search all their bags?" Lucy suggested. She knew Louise would be in trouble if Chloe searched everyone's bags. Chloe Williams said, looking a little confused:

"We're not there yet. Maybe I'm searching in the wrong place." "I'm not sure. Try looking for it in everyone's bags. If you don't find it, just apologize. I don't think anyone in the class will be mad at you,"

Scarlett added as soon as she took one look. from the messages Scarlett received, she had no idea why Lucy insisted on adding her mouth. Seeing how reluctant Chloe was to her own plans, she decided to keep her mouth shut and pretend she didn't advise Chloe Williams on what to do.

"Sorry, Chloe, we were trying to be helpful, but I think it's time to let you do your thing, Scar, let's go back to our place," Lucy Lewis said innocently, motioning for Scarlett Endurance to follow her. Feeling defeated and exhausted, she decided to look through everyone's bags. She apologized to them and then began searching for her.

"I found it!" Chloe Williams exclaimed with joy as she raised her hands to show off her precious solid gold and diamond bracelet.

All the students surrounded Louise Honda Lewis immediately when the jewelry was found in her bag, and everyone pointed at her and called her a thief and an ugly duckling.

Lucy Lewis pretended to be confused, stood in the corner of her classroom, covered her face with a notebook, and laughed quietly. She enjoyed the pain that Louise Honda Lewis received from her classmates.

Chloe Williams spotted Lucy Lewis hiding on the edge of a building and sadly walked towards her.

"I'm sorry; I know you're embarrassed by your cousin's actions. It wasn't intentional," Chloe Williams apologizes to Lucy.

"Don't blame yourself for what my cousin did. It's not your fault you were trying to find the bracelet. I never thought she would steal your bracelet," Lucy told Chloe politely.

"My family has lost face because of her," Lucy said, as Chloe Williams persuaded her to stop crying, Lucy drops her head on her desk.

Louise was summoned to the principal's office; as she walked along the lobby of the school, her fellow students were throwing stuff at her, calling her all sorts of names. Lucy Lewis was also there standing at the corner of the hall. her expression was glassy, no one knows what's running on her devilish mind.

Louise looked at her; at an instant, she could see that sarcastic look from Lucy, and then it faded away in a twinkle of time. Lucy forced her tears to drop to gain favor from her fellow classmates.

At the principal's office, Louise was ordered to kneel down.

"First, you have poor grades, and upgrading yourself is also a war for you; why resort to stealing?" her principal asked. "I'm not a thief; don't address me as one," Louise Honda said firmly.

"With an attitude also, interesting, if you were not the one who stole it, how was it then found in your bag, young lady?" "I don't know what I did. All I know is I'm innocent," Louise Honda replied.

"Louise Honda, you are hereby suspended from this school for one week," her principal said.

"How could you just pass judgment just like that? I meant it when I said I'm innocent," Louise pleaded. "Why is it hard for you to accept the truth when you know you did it?" The principal said angrily.

"I'm innocent; I promise I don't know how it got into my bag," Louise said, defending herself. Just then the door of the office was opened, and an angry-looking Freda Lewis walked in alongside her husband Thomas.

"Oh my God, I'm doomed," Louise exclaimed as her aunt Freda approached her, angry. Not waiting for the principal's approval, Louise Honda Lewis was dragged carelessly towards the car.

"Aunt Freda, I'm innocent," Louise Honda said as she was dragged carelessly. Thomas Lewis dropped both Louise and Aunt Freda, his wife at the Lewis family mansion before going back to work. Louise's beating started immediately she reached home.

"You made the entire family of the Lewis lose face today; what do you really want that was not given to you?" Aunt Freda asked angrily. "I'm innocent; I don't know how it got into my bag," Louise answered honestly, but nobody believed her.

Louise was dragged out of the school roughly by Aunt Freda, who's now angry beyond measure, and the whole student was laughing at her. Louise spotted Lucy among the crowd, and she saw the smirk on Lucy's face; she knows Lucy is the one who framed her. She's not only humiliated, but she was also suspended from school for a crime she did not commit.

At home, Madam Freda forced her to kneel, walked on the rough floor of their surroundings with ceramic plates on her head. When Louise got inside the house, that was when her aunt decided to ask her the question; the kneel walking was a punishment for making her leave her work because of the crime.

"Did you steal or did you not steal, Louise Honda?" Madam Freda asked Louise. "Aunt Freda, aunt Freda, I did not steal it; I don't know how it entered my bag," Louise answered with tears.
