Chapter 1 ONE

How can you relieve the pain? Will time heal all the wounds? But none of that mattered to the woman who was standing there with all the wounds inside her. The pair of eyes stared at the branded bag display case that changed models every week. Some bags were only produced in limited editions.

"Mrs. Wilson, is that you?"

A much older woman approached her. She was Diana, the owner of the bag brand that the Wilson family had always subscribed to. It was common for Auristella Wilson to meet Diana in person like this. Other people might not be as lucky as Ella.

"Mrs. Diana." Ella greeted Diana with a thin smile, so thin it barely formed a line at all.

"Just call Diana, Mrs. Wilson."

"Then call me Ella too, without bringing Wilson in tow."

"I'm too scared to call you that." Diana shook her head as she refused to be called by name because Auristella was Wilson's favorite daughter-in-law, who didn't know Wilson, the third richest family in Asia.

"Ahh, right. Because I'm Wilson's daughter-in-law? I already knew that," Ella replied casually while crossing her arms in front of her body.

"You already knew that; let me just call you Mrs. Wilson." Diana felt at ease if she continued to address AuristElla formally.

"I want a bag that has only been produced a few times, and I don't want to wear something too marketable." Ella opened the conversation again. Honestly, all the bags in the showcase were too cheap for her to wear.

"Of course, Mrs. Wilson, we always have one bag that we only show you before selling it if you're not interested." Diana snapped her fingers to code the person working under her to bring the bag for Ella.

Ella just sat on the sofa provided in the large room with its luxurious interior. Ella's legs crossed one to the other, and she looked one by one. Bags of various styles and colors were placed on the marble table surface. Rest assured that none of the servers' fingerprints were on them because they are required to wear rubber gloves.

"Mrs. Wilson is a limited edition bag this week. We're only producing two of them," Diana said after pulling out all the bags she was proud of.

Ella was looking at one bag after another. She was looking for one among the dozens of bags that would attract her attention to buy.

Her hand touched one bag that caught her eye. Ella lifted a bag that was so beautiful in dark blue, but it was not the color that attracted her. Instead, it's the one loose bead on the detail of the bag that they may not have noticed. Still, it did not escape Ella's eyes.

"Your choices are never wrong, Mrs. Wilson...That beautiful bag is called Summer Sky."

"Really? Then I'll buy it because it's interesting when it's broken!" Ella's hand turned the bag around and showed Diana where the damage was.

Diana's eyes widened when she saw the damage on one of her expensive bags. She immediately turned around and glared at the six servants she had assigned to carry all the bags.

"Who brought this bag? Tell me who!" Diana raised her voice to scold all the servants who did not answer at all.

Finally, one fairly young woman raised her hand a little hesitantly. Diana's hand quickly slapped the woman's face; Ella just watched without moving from her seat.

She just watched everything Diana did. From the cursing to the insults that wouldn't stop coming out of that mouth, the slap was almost delivered again. However, Ella's voice quickly stopped her.

"Stop!" Ella stood up from her seat. She walked over to Diana and picked up the bag that had been in her hand, but Diana took it instead. Without saying much, Ella slapped Diana hard on the cheek, just like she had done earlier to one of the young employees.

''Mrs. Wilson, why did you slap my face?'' Diana was shocked and held her cheek as she did not accept this treatment from Ella.

''Was my slap not firm enough? You dare to ask me again what you did wrong!!!'' Ella raised her voice; all the servants looked down in fear.

''Are your ears damaged!!! I wanted to buy this bag because it was broken, but all you did was slap your employee who may not have broken it!!!'' Ella scolded Diana again for treating an employee like that and humiliating her in front of many people.

''S-sorry Mrs. Wilson... I promise not to repeat this incident.'' Diana lowered her head as she feared that her business would be ruined because of her mistake, making Mrs. Wilson furious.

Ella approached the young woman who Diana had slapped. Ella stood in front of the young woman and looked at her from top to bottom before finally touching her face. Until the young woman raised her head, Ella's sharp eyes looked into the dark brown eyes.

''Your cheeks are flushed. Stop here and go to a place that appreciates you more.'' Ella said in a soft tone, although it still sounded cold.

Ella exhaled and took out something from her bag. It was a white paper with just a signature and the amount of money written on Ella's ink pen; anything could be bought easily. After writing down some amount of money that could not be said to be small, but for Ella, it was also; a little at least the money could make this woman find a new life elsewhere.

"Accept this. Ella showed the check to the young woman, who looked at her with a puzzled look, but finally, with a trembling hand, she accepted the paper.

''T-thank you, ma'am.''

''I'm not your mistress. Don't call me that; get out of here lest we meet again.'' Ella turned her body around and carried the broken blue bag. Ella would, of course, still buy it according to the original agreement but not for the second time; for her, this brand was bad enough to be used by the third generation in the Wilson family.

Ella came out of the bag shop with two bodyguards carrying seven paper bags that she found interesting to buy only, not to use. Because Ella still liked her black bag, which she had purchased almost six years ago. To be precise, on the day of her wedding to the sole heir of 'NEAL WILSON.'

Ella got into her black car. No, this was not Wilson's family; all the wealth she had today was due to the intervention of her family and her husband's family.

Wilson and Jackop were the two camps that brought Ella and Neal together in a fake marriage.
