Anna was just 22 years of age and her mother threw her a lavish party was held at the Sarvona Hotel the most expensive hotel in the city. She thought that her mother had just regretted how she treated her since childhood like a slave and she never knew why since she was her daughter and she was treated differently from Beatrice her younger sister who was spoilt. She had no idea that her mother had arranged a nightstand with his uncle Albert whom she dispersed due to his ill-mannered demeanor and she had no idea that her father was going through bankruptcy and they planned this as a way to save the company without her approval.
Chapter 1 Anna's EVENING
It was around seven in the evening when a knock was given too outside Anna's chamber.
' Knock, Knock. '
" Anna, Are you in there? " A soft voice from a lady inquired
" Yes, what is it? " Anna who was in the mirror doing her makeup inquired
" Here is the dress that mummy asked me to bring to you." A soft voice stated
" You can come in, the door is not locked. " Anna started as she continued with her make.
" Oooh my God, look how you messed your face. " A lady who came in carrying a long-wrapped suit stated as she dropped it on the bed before she made her way to where Anna sat.
" But I thought I was doing well as YouTube instructed. " Anna stated
" No, no, no, You are doing it wrongly and where are the wipes?" She inquired
" Beatrice, there is no need for you to bother yourself with it I can go without the makeup and there is no need for you to waste your time here. I might make you get late. " Anna stated before Beatrice reached out for the wipes that were on the makeup table.
" Who said you would make me get late and more so it's not my birthday but your birthday and how can I be late while the host is here with me? " Betty inquired as she wiped off Anna's face.
" Why have you been nice all of a sudden? " Anna inquired making Beatrice halt for a moment.
" Mmmm, why have you been a stubborn big sister it's not as if I am not nice and just let me do your make-up and I wouldn't like my sister to look like a ghost on your twenty-second birthday. " Beatrice stated as she started doing her eyebrows.
'A knock is given attention to outside Anna's chamber
' Knock, Knock, '
" Anna are you ready, we need to get going in half an hour. " A soft voice from outside Anna's door is given attention to.
" Mum, we will be out in just a blink of an eye give us a few minutes. " Beatrice stated
" Okay, don't be long darling because the chauffeur will be here at any moment. " Emily her mother stated
" Okay, " Beatrice stated as she resumed on Anna's eyebrows, and they could hear the footsteps fade away in the hallway.
"Don't the excessive makeup, I will be good with the light makeup and I don't want to upset Mum. " Anna stated
" Okay, Don't worry about that, The only thing that you need to do is keep your complexion steady so that I can finish up faster. " Beatrice stated as she continued to finish the eyebrows that took much of the effort and it was in a few minutes that they were through with the makeup.
" See we are done you can open your eyes now. " Beatrice stated as she gaped at the work that she had finished on her face.
" Wow, Thank Beatrice. This is splendid, I love it. " Anna who was mesmerized by her appearance stated as a smile curved on her face.
" You are welcome anytime big sister and now I will let you get changed since I don't want Mum to be here and get started with her noise. " Beatrice stated as she made her way to the bed unzipped the case that had covered the white dress and placed it on the bed as she made her way out.
" Okay, Thank you again," Anna stated as she left the dressing table before the hinges of the door to her chamber latched closed.
" I just feel so weary already and I hope this works soon because I cannot stand her anymore. " Beatrice who strolled through the hallway as she murmured to herself.
" Sweetie, Is she ready already, We are getting late and you know that your uncle doesn't like to be kept in the loop. " Emily her mother who came out from the room in the corner stated
" Well, I just.... " Beatrice was cut short by the doorbell.
" That must be him. Go get Anna ready and you two meet me downstairs in less than a minute. " Emily her mother stated as she ambled down the stairway her legs hastened.
" Coming in Albert, I didn't think you would be this fast. " Emily stated as she unfurled the door to the tall muscled man who was in his early forties to make his way inside.
" Is she ready? " Albert inquired in a deep voice as he looked up the stairs hoping to catch the sight of her.
" She will join in a minute, I sent Beatrice to get her." Emily who latched the door behind him stated
" I hope she will be here shortly because I don't have all night to wait and I hope she is ready for me. " Albert inquired
" Yes, she is, Come have a seat I get your favorite coffee ready. " Emily stated as she was about to amber from the living room hallway to the kitchen when she was halted halfway.
" There is no need for that today, Maybe another time, Why don't..... " Albert was cut short by the immense beauty of the Goddess who came down the stairs and his sight could not leave her curvy body that was covered with the dress she wore that exposed her curves.
" Ooh dear, I thought that I would wait forever for you to get ready, " Emily stated as the two ladies made their way down.
" Hello, Uncle Albert? " Beatrice I quoted as she ambled to where I stood and hugged him.
" I am doing good dear and what of you and your sister? " Albert inquired.
" We are all doing great, I thought that you would send the chauffeur to drive us there. " Beatrice inquired as she let loose from his embrace.
" No, I wanted to drive you there since it's a special day for Anna" Albert stated as his gaze met her sharp disguised gaze.
" Dear, are you going to just stand there? Come hug your uncle, "Emily's mother stated
