Story of a teenage girl who is finally been exposed to freedom. What does the future hold?

Chapter 1 Humble beginning

Priscilla Priscy Priscilla!!!!

I heard my mum's voice from the parlour,

Yes mum, I answered from my room.

******************************

It was a Sunday evening, I had just gotten back from my dad's place,

Well my mum and dad are separated, so on most occasions, I spend my weekend at my dad's place and return to my mom on Sunday evening to prepare for school.

My name is Priscilla Williams. A beautiful light skinned beauty from Lagos state, Nigeria.

The only child of my mother, I'm 17 years and I currently have few weeks before my graduation at snt May's college.

I do not know if I'm loved by everyone because of my beauty or my intelligence, All I know is that I'm loved by all, even my mum spoils me with everything and grants all my wishes,

Sometimes I thank God for not giving me a sister,I think she'll share everything I'm enjoying now with me and I might not get enough. Well, maybe that's because Dayo my class mate has a sister and she's always complaining to me how she's been treated and how her mum expects her to carry the responsibility of looking after her sister always.

And on some days I wish I had a sister, atleast someone to gist with,

Someone to keep my company on days when the house is so boring.

*****************************

I sluggishly stood up from my bed, and I headed to the parlour, My mum was sitting on the one-sitter chair adjacent to the television, with the remote in her hands, she was so focused on the television, I could sense that she was so engrossed in her favorite series "best friends in the world".

I got to the parlour, and I sat down, she was still yet to notice me until I softly patted her legs, "mummy I'm here na" I said.

She startled and said "oh I'm sorry dear I was so focused on the television that I didn't even notice you were here already".
