I followed him outside and left the Customer I was talking to. "Tristan!" I chased him before he even got into the car "Brother Tristan." It further emphasizes the word 'Kuya' "Are you leaving? Are you going to order?" "No need. I own the shop Nyda." he just said and was about to get back into his car but I stopped him "Didn't you check the shop?" I still have beautiful eyes here. But his cold gaze remained on me "Nyda.. Just why did you come here? You graduated from a business course but you're a cashier here. if you do the same things you did before and have a different goal. Better pack your things and leave!" "But.. I still love you...." I bowed down and said this. I was just stupid and said it. I felt the strong closing of his Car "If you are going to insist again on your feelings, it's your problem. Nothing will happen Nyda. I have no intention of accepting your feelings for me. And I advise you to stop. Maybe if friendship happens, I won't be able to give it to you.. .."

I'm Fixing You Chapter 1 1

chapter One

I woke up early to bake a cake. Manang and I also went shopping early. Today is Tristan's Birthday my loves. That's why I will bake him a cake. I will give it to him year after year even though I don't know if he eats it or not.

I was maybe 11 years old when I had a crush on Tristan. This is Kuya's friend. They were young men when they hung out at home. All of them have good looks, handsome and muscular bodies, but it was Tristan who really made my heart skip a beat. He is also a gentleman and kind. just thorny with women

I have confessed to him several times but he just laughs at me. Now I intend to confess to him. I confessed to him for the first time now that I am 16 years old.

Around noon we finished the cake. I put it in the fridge first. I quickly went upstairs to take a shower. I will soak in soap!

I prepared my arrangement. I took the Pink Dress that Mom gave me. And then I put make up on manang.

I sent our driver to the Venue where Tristan's birthday was. I saw a lot of people wearing a black tuxedo. Help! The whiteness of the appearance is smooth! And most of all the beautiful smile.

I approached him and handed him the cake. He immediately turned his gaze to me

"Oh Nyda. Thank you" he smiled sweetly at me

"Ahh. I hope you can enjoy that food. I baked it myself."

"Sure. By the way, thank you again."

When the party started I was alone in the corner. Kuya is busy with his girls.

I saw Luke go up on stage with his guitar.

he sat down in the middle and started playing. Everyone was silent listening. I can also hear the screams of the women behind me. Luke is so handsome! I can't stop blushing every time it's sung. I thought I was the one he was singing about.

"Thank you everyone for coming." He said when the singing was over. He stood up holding the mike and went down to the stage. He went straight to the tables. My eyes followed where he went

it stopped at a table.. in front of a woman in a white dress and I can't deny she's beautiful

"Camille.. This is one of my most special birthdays...Having you in my life completes me. and I want to be completed. Will you marry me Camille?"

The girl immediately nodded. I looked away and wiped my impending tears. I know they are but I didn't expect Luke to propose like this.

I went out to talk to Luke. I can't give up my feelings until now.

"Luke, can we talk?" I approached him outside where he was talking to a man. It said goodbye and followed me to the back of the garden

"Why Nyda?"

"You're getting married? Why didn't you tell me? I thought she was just your girlfriend" he sighed and stared at me as if confused

"When I confessed my feelings to you the first time I really mean it. And every time I do it again I really mean it. When I said I wouldn't give up. That was true. But why would you marry that girl??"

"Don't call her like that. I love her. I can marry her. I've told you several times that we can't. And you can't even like me Nyda. No matter what happens, what I said will not change. I won't accept your feelings... ever. Now that I'm getting married, can you please me? And you take care of your feelings?"

I slapped him. Along with my continuous tears. I can't talk about the pain I feel. I couldn't even find my breath properly and I was sobbing one after another.

"Do you think it's easy for me?it's hard every time you reject me it's like you killed me over and over again. But I didn't throw you up."

"You know I didn't tell you to put up with your feelings for me Nyda. You are still young and spoiled brat. You think you can get everything you want."

I covered my face and cried when Luke left in front of me.

I can't take the pain. My whole life. He is the one I loved....

I was sitting in the Presidential Suite of The Pierre, wearing a Vera Wang gown worth more than most people earn in a decade. It was supposed to be the wedding of the century, the final move to merge two of Manhattan's most powerful empires. Then my phone buzzed. It was an Instagram Story from my fiancé, Jameson. He was at Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris with a caption that read: "Fuck the chains. Chasing freedom." He hadn't just gotten cold feet; he had abandoned me at the altar to run across the world. My father didn't come in to comfort me. He burst through the door roaring about a lost acquisition deal, telling me the Holland Group would strip our family for parts if the ceremony didn't happen by noon. My stepmother wailed about us becoming the laughingstock of the Upper East Side. The Holland PR director even suggested I fake a "panic attack" to make myself look weak and sympathetic to save their stock price. Then Jameson’s sleazy cousin, Pierce, walked in with a lopsided grin, offering to "step in" and marry me just to get his hands on my assets. I looked at them and realized I wasn't a daughter or a bride to anyone in that room. I was a failed asset, a bouncing check, a girl whose own father told her to go to Paris and "beg" the man who had just publicly humiliated her. The girl who wanted to be loved died in that mirror. I realized that if I was going to be sold to save a merger, I was going to sell myself to the one who actually controlled the money. I marched past my parents and walked straight into the VIP holding room. I looked the most powerful man in the room—Jameson’s cold, ruthless uncle, Fletcher Holland—dead in the eye and threw the iPad on the table. "Jameson is gone," I said, my voice as hard as stone. "Marry me instead."

The heavy iron gates of the Wilderness Correction Camp groaned as they released me after three years of state-sponsored hell. I stood on the dirt road, clutching a plastic bag that held my entire life, waiting for the family that claimed they sent me there for "rehab." My brother, Brady, picked me up in a luxury SUV only to throw me out onto a deserted highway in the middle of a brewing storm. He told me I was a "public relations nightmare" and that the rain might finally wash the "stink" of the camp off me. He drove away, leaving me to limp miles through the mud on a snapped ankle. When I finally dragged myself to our family estate, my mother didn't offer a hug; she gasped in horror because my muddy clothes were ruining her Italian marble. They didn't give me my old room back. Instead, they banished me to a moldy gardener’s shack and hired a "babysitter" to make sure I didn't embarrass them further. My sister, Kaleigh, stood there in white cashmere, pretending to cry while clinging to her fiancé, Ambrose—the man who had once been mine. They all treated me like a volatile junkie, refusing to acknowledge that Kaleigh was the one who planted the drugs in my bag three years ago. They wanted to believe I was broken so they wouldn't have to feel guilty about the "wellness retreat" that was actually a torture chamber. I sat in the dark of that shed, feeling the cooling gel on the cigarette burns that covered my arms, and realized they had made a fatal mistake. They thought they had erased me, but I had returned with a roadmap of scars and a hidden satellite phone. At dinner, I didn't beg for their love. I simply rolled up my sleeves and showed them the price of their silence. As the wine spilled and the lies crumbled, I sent a single text to the only person I trusted: "I'm in. Let them simmer." The hunt was finally on.
