I am a lawyer, I come from a rich family, with good principles and impeccable morals, I only have one sister who is older by only two years difference, her name is Abril, although in reality she is not my blood sister, since my Her parents decided to adopt her when they believed they could not have children.

According to my mother, Abril, she was the daughter of the house maid, apparently she got pregnant and the father did not take responsibility and it was not known who she was, but since he did not have the resources to support her, he decided to give her to my parents when I was barely a newborn.

Then she left home and was never heard from again, but to the surprise of my parents who still did not have children of their own, two years later I was born, and since then April and I have been raised as true sisters, although Physically we don't look alike, she has dark skin, she has honey-colored eyes, while I have white skin and eyes as blue as the sea.

There have never been differences between us even though she knows everything about her origin. We love each other very much and he is also my best confidant. But a year ago she went to live in the United States and unexpectedly married a middle-class man who was a great disappointment to my parents since they wanted a better candidate for her, who was from our same social level.

She had not communicated with the family for months, since she did not want them to continue reproaching her for her decision. However, she suddenly decided to return to Mexico, taking advantage of the fact that her husband had a medical conference in Cancun, it was the perfect occasion for her to share with my parents while her husband was doing his conference, and when he finished it he would go to Mexico to meet her and finally meet the family.

As fate would have it, I had decided to celebrate my birthday with my friends in Cancun, and then return to the party that my parents were preparing to celebrate my birthday and also the return of my sister. And of course finally meeting the man who had married her.
