Chapter 1 The beginning
I could feel it!
It was going to be a stormy night the sun was setting though. I think? I had always had to use my other senses since my sight had been taken from me at the age of sixteen precisely my prom night.
The day had started beautifully with hair and makeup. I and Tara were too excited to eat any breakfast and had gone to the salon immediately we woke up, got bodied and got ready to go to prom.
I am the shy one and was more of reading but I guess I still had a little hotness in me. Well my sister Tara was known as the badest and outing going girl in school she is a beauty and as we are identical I assume I am too. Just not the baddie type I preferred comfortable clothes not
baggy type but moderately sexy. Okay just jeans and tops will do for me.
Our parents are very comfortable thus we had a house by a private beach. My father is into real estate has always looked up to me to take over the company. Trust me I do pretty well without my sight. It never limited me only made me stronger and bolder. I had always been his favorite while Tara leaned more to our mom. There were no partialities in decision making from our parents but you how it is sometimes.
Prom was our biggest dream at sixteen and Tara really wanted to be prom Queen imagine my surprise when my name was called. She couldn't believe it either but gave me the biggest hug and we danced all night.I had no idea what was install for me.
We got home and both got our first cars as a surprise a black range evoque for me and a flashy red for Tara. Tara decided to test run hers with her friends while I stayed back at home to watch some Netflix.
All I remember was staying up late and hearing a sound in the kitchen by this time it was raining heavily. I peaked at the kitchen back door to close it but before I knew it I was flying down the back porch stairs hitting my head hard as it was slippery from the downpour.
I woke up 3days later to total darkness and it has been that way. But wait I wasn't so close to the porch. I remember feeling a push. I was told Tara found me first when she returned from her hangout with her friends lying in a pool of my blood.
