Chapter 1 Confused

Castriel Company

I smiled when I read the name of the company I was going to apply for. And when I entered the building I saw many people busy with their jobs. The others look afloat but still awake. I sighed and continued walking.

Life isn't easy for everyone especially when you're at the point of poverty. Well, that's the reality. And everyone was used to know that, but at some point they didn't know the feeling to be in a difficult situation.

"Hi ma'am I'm here for an interview for being a personal assistant." I said and smiled at the woman on the counter.

She looked at me and checked her papers. "Okay ma'am, it's on the third floor for the interview. Feel free to go there ma'am." She said happily.

I just nodded and started to walk towards the elevator. I was about to lock it but someone interrupt, a guy. I looked at him from head to toe. I was shocked. Even though he didn't mind me nor see because he's busy with his phone, but he's damn gorgeous.

"Hey shut up." I heard him say that then put down his phone. I was just looking at him without realizing he was looking at me.

"What are you looking at?!" He asked me angrily. I gulp, don't know what to say.

"I-m sorry..." I whispered and started to go when the door opened. Shocks. He's too rude. I was just looking at him because of admiration but he just scolded me.

I just looked at my watch and when I saw that I'm going to be late, so I just run towards the interview room. I was nervous because I didn't know why. Well, this was my first time in this kind of company--a well known company around the world. That's fascinating, for a simple girl like me.

I knocked the door and someone let me in, a girl actually. She looks serious and bossy. She looked at me and said. "Hi, welcome to the company. You're here for an interview for being a personal assistant, right?" I just nod and started to search my requirements in my bag.

"Yes ma'am, this is my requirements for the position ma'am." I plainly said and hand her my papers.

She scanned my papers for a while. "For your information, the CEO fired his former assistant for being too obsessed with him..and he don't want that to happen again, so, I'll say this warning and I don't want to repeat it again." She said and breathe out.

"I can say that you can get the position, we will call you later. I'll just give my advised for you, the earlier the better. First, don't make the CEO pissed because of your stupidity or clumsiness. Do your work properly and don't let your feelings or whatever like that affect your work. You know the CEO right? Handsome people can catch stupid people. And I know you are one of those. That's all, you may now go." She said, straight forwardly.

It's like I don't know what will I say right now, cause i'm walking away from the building with my brain floating. And seriously, I don't know how what I feel, if I'm happy because there's a possibility for me to be accepted in the position or feel nervous because of that kind of CEO.

"What did I enter...?" I asked to myself.

I was about to cross the street when suddenly someone braked in front of me. Instead of complaining, my eyes suddenly shine because the car is so beautiful. I was just looking there for a few seconds when the car window suddenly opened and a man shouted out there.

"Hey, can't you see your way!? Get in!" He shouted angrily. I just stared. My brain still hasn't processed everything.

"Are you deaf !? Tsk, you're already blind and deaf." I heard him say, so my ears suddenly throbbed. That's different. It's as if my character is being trampled on because of this man's misinterpretations.

I looked inside and looked at the guy and I didn't expect what I saw. He's the same guy in the elevator! Ting! Is this really how destiny plays out?

"Stop staring and get in the car." He said, strictly and open the door. I gulped.

I was still embarrassed to enter so maybe a minute passed before I sat down and as soon as I sat down, it started crashing into the car. I was totally speechless and my heart is beating so fast! This is heart attack!

"Speechless? What are you? Dumb, blind and still deaf." He complaint. I was just looking straight ahead, I hadn't even moved since before. This was my first time in the whole time in this universe!

My mind was still debating whether to look at him or not. But in the end, I faced him, and a tall man appeared before me, looking at me. Her hair is messy and her eyes are bulging, she looks sleepy and has problems.

He stopped the car. Everything was so silent but I just felt his face approaching me, he smelled of alcohol. And then my brain suddenly woke up and in a sudden I averted my face from him. And at that very point, he lifted his face and looked at me curiously and grinned.

"You're not affected huh?" He asked and drive again.

What was that!? Is he playing with me?
