Chapter 1 My Lifestyle

°Halsey°

As the sun rises, I grab my favorite mug and sip on a steaming cup of coffee that was made in my office, while I prepare for whatever awaits me through out today.

You might be wondering why I'm having my early morning coffee in my office.

The role of a general manager and CEO was been played by me ever since Mr. Dawkins, the president and CEO of this company passed on. It's been a tough experience for everyone who knew him including I.

Throughout the day, I found myself engaged in conversations with my lower staffs, brainstorming innovative strategies which made me have less time for myself. Although I do the most in that aspect.

Resuming work before my colleagues was my top priority as promised to late Dawkins on his death bed, it's my ritual to inspect every administration office and HR office in order to detect hidden documents, damages or record of spoiled goods we produce.

Amidst the hustle and bustle, I make sure to stay connected with my loved ones as much as I can but go ghost mode in terms of relationship topics my mother always managed to bring up during video calls. It is not worth the struggle of planning at this stage in my life. This thought alone was what made my mum fear me the most and reject most expensive gifts I give to her as she expects it from her imaginary son in-law. "Halsey, you can't carry your father name for long till you age" she would always say to me when I explained to her why I have not showed her to 'my man'.

As the day winds down, I tie up loose ends, reflecting on the achievements and challenges of the day. But it's not just about work; it's about finding balance. So, before I head home at a very inhumane time, I make sure there are no files left hanging for the day and remind myself of another hectic day at work.

FYI: this is just the beginning okay? Relax and I don't mind new ideas in the comment section but I want no negative people aight? (^_^メ) love y'all!!
