Enough!" I shook my hands violently, breathing trembled, and closed my eyes in terror as his booming voice reverberated across the room. The Doomed Lycan's Mate Chapter 1 First episode

Henna

Except for a few sniffles I could no longer contain, the whole ride to his estate was silent. Even though all he did was sip from the pocket alcohol bottle the entire time, he didn't appear intoxicated, and even from a distance, I could smell the alcohol on him.

There was something very...scary about him. And as the seconds ticked by, an odd terror began to rise within me.

I was ignorant of him. I had no idea who he was or what he did. I had never been here before. It was scary for me to be in such a vulnerable situation, especially as a girl who was never allowed to leave her group.

The vehicle came to a stop in front of a massive mansion that was well furnished and encircled by a considerable number of trees, giving the impression that a gloomy shadow had shrouded this lovely location.

Raul took hold of my wrist and yanked me violently out of the vehicle. Keeping up with his pace was challenging, made more so by the fact that I was wearing bare feet covered in cuts and blisters.

He pulled me inside the mansion with force after the guards unlocked the main entrance.

When they noticed Raul's approach, a large group of maids and laborers gathered around us. They were terrified, as evidenced by the way their trembling breaths stayed visible and the way all of their unwavering eyes were fixed on the ground.

However, my gaze suddenly shifted to see the woman descending the stairs. Her red gown fitted her glowing skin like a second layer, even though it exposed a lot of skin, and her blonde hair reached her shoulders. Her eyes first met mine with curiosity, but they quickly darkened when they saw Raul's hand grasping mine.

She approached us, sipping from the wine glass she carried with casualness as she strolled down.

"I did not know you went to purchase some slave," she said.

"Because it's none of your fucking business, Clara." With a scowl in his blue eyes, Raul spat, and Clara immediately cowered away.

"I apologize, Alpha. "I apologize; I didn't mean for it to sound like this," she said, her voice suddenly seeming honey-sweet.

Raul shoved me to the maid's side, ignoring her.

"Here, get her all cleaned up and escort her to the room beside mine." "I want her clean, with every trace of other wolves eliminated from her body," he commanded. You get it?"

"Yes, Alpha." The maid observed my weakness and struggled to stay still on my feet, so she bowed nicely and gently held me to keep me standing.

"What's your name?" Clara raised an eyebrow at me and questioned.

"Henna."

"Is she a new slave?" Clara's tone softened once more when she asked Raul the question this time.

Raul's hands balled into fists, and his jaw tightened, "Yes, she is." It was evident that he disliked having too many questions posed to him.

"So that means she can serve me as well; I needed a maid anyway," she said, stepping closer to him and sliding her hand around his arm while sensually dragging her nails up towards his bicep. To conduct my routine pedicure and other things, you know, so..."

Raul interrupted Clara before she could finish her statement and threw the pocket alcohol bottle against the closest wall mirror.

"Enough!" I shook my hands violently, breathing trembled, and closed my eyes in terror as his booming voice reverberated across the room. "I have not spent two million dollars on her just for some of your fucking pedicure and stupid stuff that you can do on your own," he said. Because you are aware of the potential implications, stay in your lane.

Clara's expression was hidden by shock, and she recoiled a few paces.

"She is mine to use; I purchased her." With a death gaze on her face, he said, "Go to your fucking room now. In this present moment!" He gave an order.

She sped up the stairs without even waiting for a second, and before she could leave our sight, she gave me an odd glance that betrayed a deeper, more profound, unfathomable hatred.

Raul took a deep breath, the anger still visible on his face, and the blue veins next to his neck stood like one more piece of evidence. His quietness unnerved me.

The maid appeared to realize it was not the best idea to watch him get angry while standing there.

"Let's go," She helped me head up the stairs and out of the hall while whispering to me.

But there were blazing holes in the set of eyes that belonged to my companion.

Did not disappear in any way behind my head.

While the maid scrubbed and cleansed my body, I sat in the hot tub, unmoving and lost in a jumble of thoughts.

I realized this new mood would not continue, even though it was somewhat serene after spending so many days in that inferno. Tears welled up in my eyes again at the memory of Raul's hateful eyes for me.

"How is Clara related to the Alpha?" The only thing I had spoken up to at that point was the question. Therefore, I found myself asking it.

"Oh...she's his mistress." She responded.

He's got a mistress.

My chest was assailed by a sharp pain that knotted up in the middle and made breathing difficult.

It hurt to think that he was seeing someone else. After only a few hours of meeting my partner, he had already demonstrated uninterested in seeing my face. Therefore, I didn't even have the right to protest.

What had I done wrong for this world to be so cruel? If I had not been born with a wolf, my life would have been so much better. Perhaps Raul would not have hated me but instead adored me.

Was it my fault that the goddess made me a burden for everyone rather than making me powerful and attractive?

"Your name's Henna, right?" The maid's inquiry dispelled my fog.

I nodded and wiped away my tears swiftly. But her compassionate and understanding stare said it all-she had already recognized that I was crying.

Observe...Accepting the truth can be brutal, but I'm stating this for your benefit; the sooner you take it, the less damage it will cause." "Please be careful of him. He's lethal," she said quietly. You could be killed by a single mistake. Remember that he has no concept of mercy, so avoid doing anything that could put your life in danger."

Even though I witnessed it, it was difficult to accept that my partner was callous and savage. There was not a shred of feeling in his eyes.

"H-how many people have he killed till now?" My speech faltered.

"Countless." "But the first person he killed was his," the maid sighed.

father, eleven years old."

After hearing what she had just stated, my heart stopped.

Did he murder his father?

"Do you...do you know why he killed his father?"

No, I'm not. It seems that no one is aware of it. Most people are ignorant of Alpha Raul's history, and those aware of it avoid discussing it out of fear." She responded, "It's just like one of those secrets that have been buried in the dark, just like his curse that one knows about."

"Yeah, he is cursed." She said.

"And there's no one who knows what it is?"

"Kinda. Most people assume it's his brutal and cruel deeds that have made the goddess bestow the curse upon him, and it could be the case, but if anyone who can know about it is...Zara ."

"Who's Zara ?"

Before she could respond to my query, a maid entered the restroom in a hurry.

"Nadia, hurry up and get her ready. Alpha will arrive here at any moment." Taking one look at me, she said.

I knew Raul's coming would be nothing more than torment for me as Nadia's gaze shifted to stare at me sadly...

HONEY MULLINS

Six years ago, I was a naive girl sold by my father to the powerful Sanders estate, only to be tossed onto the streets after a brutal assault they labeled "marital infidelity." I fled the country pregnant and broken, hiding from the shadow of a husband I had never even met. Now, I’ve returned to New York with my triplets to sign the final divorce papers and disappear forever. But Archibald Sanders—the man I was told was a crippled recluse—intercepted us with the cold precision of a predator. He didn't see the woman his family destroyed; he saw a gold-digger who had shamed his name. His security team hunted us to a grimy motel, using tactical force to snatch my children away and drag me to his glass-walled empire. In his office, he loomed over me, demanding a DNA test and threatening to throw me in prison while my babies were lost to the foster system. He was convinced I’d cheated, yet he stared at my sons with a haunting confusion, unable to ignore the stormy blue eyes that were a perfect mirror of his own. I stood there, paralyzed by his scent—the sharp tang of rain and expensive leather that triggered the icy dread of my worst nightmares. How could he accuse me of betrayal when he felt exactly like the monster who had shattered my life in that dark hotel room? "I'll sign anything," I sobbed, "just give me my kids." But the game changed when my five-year-old son hacked the tower’s security, holding the skyscraper hostage to save me. In the chaos, a fragile, silent boy—Archibald’s secret son—wandered into the room and reached for me as if I were his missing soul. Archibald’s face turned to stone as he tore up the agreement and locked the doors. "Until I find out why my son is looking at you like that," he growled, "you aren't going anywhere."

The heavy iron gates of the Wilderness Correction Camp groaned as they released me after three years of state-sponsored hell. I stood on the dirt road, clutching a plastic bag that held my entire life, waiting for the family that claimed they sent me there for "rehab." My brother, Brady, picked me up in a luxury SUV only to throw me out onto a deserted highway in the middle of a brewing storm. He told me I was a "public relations nightmare" and that the rain might finally wash the "stink" of the camp off me. He drove away, leaving me to limp miles through the mud on a snapped ankle. When I finally dragged myself to our family estate, my mother didn't offer a hug; she gasped in horror because my muddy clothes were ruining her Italian marble. They didn't give me my old room back. Instead, they banished me to a moldy gardener’s shack and hired a "babysitter" to make sure I didn't embarrass them further. My sister, Kaleigh, stood there in white cashmere, pretending to cry while clinging to her fiancé, Ambrose—the man who had once been mine. They all treated me like a volatile junkie, refusing to acknowledge that Kaleigh was the one who planted the drugs in my bag three years ago. They wanted to believe I was broken so they wouldn't have to feel guilty about the "wellness retreat" that was actually a torture chamber. I sat in the dark of that shed, feeling the cooling gel on the cigarette burns that covered my arms, and realized they had made a fatal mistake. They thought they had erased me, but I had returned with a roadmap of scars and a hidden satellite phone. At dinner, I didn't beg for their love. I simply rolled up my sleeves and showed them the price of their silence. As the wine spilled and the lies crumbled, I sent a single text to the only person I trusted: "I'm in. Let them simmer." The hunt was finally on.

Woke Up Married To A Secret Zillionaire

Woke Up Married To A Secret Zillionaire

I went to the New York City Clerk's office to handle a simple administrative matter, but the woman behind the glass handed me a nightmare instead. It was a certified marriage license from Clark County, Nevada, filed exactly three months ago. My vision blurred as I read the name in the spouse field: Baxter Noel. I was legally married to the ruthless billionaire whose legal team was currently suing me for intellectual property theft and trying to destroy my career. I remembered the conference in Las Vegas and a drink that tasted far too sweet, followed by a twelve-hour black hole in my memory that I had chalked up to exhaustion. When I sought help at my family's estate, my stepmother and sister didn't offer comfort; they stole my passport, shredded my clothes, and framed me for academic plagiarism to strip away my university fellowship. Even Baxter himself looked me in the eye with cold indifference, claiming he didn't know me and promising to have me arrested for fraud if I ever showed him that document again. Within twenty-four hours, I was homeless, jobless, and being hunted by the most powerful man in the city. I couldn't understand why a man who "eats people for breakfast" would be caught in the same trap as a struggling scientist like me. The confusion turned to pure terror when I looked at the witness signature on the license: Gene Mcclain. My mother, who was supposed to have died in a car crash ten years ago, had signed that paper with a fresh, trembling hand only ninety days ago. "I am holding a grenade, and I have no idea when the pin was pulled." Standing in the biting November wind with nothing but a laptop and a marriage license, I realized I was just a pawn in a much deadlier game. I stopped running and began to fight back, determined to use my unwanted status as the billionaire's wife to uncover the truth about the mother who came back from the dead.
