A young girl sat slowly sipping her drink, her eyes scanning the room anxiously, hoping for that one person to show up.
She was dressed in a short black gown that exposed much of her body, and it was obvious she felt uncomfortable wearing it.
She gulped nervously as she looked around, seeing different people making out in the club.
This was her first time in a club.
"Hey?" She turned around to see a boy standing behind her.
She ignored him.
"You look so pretty," he complimented, licking his lips.
Aurora just rolled her eyes.
Compliments weren't new to her; she'd heard them plenty of times before.
"What's a beautiful girl like you doing here all alone?" he asked, reaching out to touch her, but she slapped his hand away, giving him a deadly glare.
"Leave me the fuck alone," she snapped, and the boy scoffed.
"Playing hard to get, huh?" He grabbed her harshly, making her panic.
"Let go of me!" she struggled, trying to break free from his grip, but she couldn't.
"Alessandro Matteo is here!" someone screamed through the crowd, and the boy immediately released her. Everyone started running, trying to find somewhere safe to hide, while she stood up, looking around in confusion.
His dark eyes scanned the room, searching for someone, and when they landed on her, he exhaled, taking a deep breath.
He took another deep breath, his gaze locked on her body.
Impatience surged through him as he walked toward her, flanked by his bodyguards.
Aurora gulped in fear as she watched him approach, realizing it was because of him that everyone was running.
No one had to tell her he was dangerous; the aura around him screamed it.
She looked at the handsome boy in front of her and wondered how many days God had spent crafting such an amazing creature.
'He's so good-looking,' she thought. But if only she knew that looks didn't define him.
His handsome face, his curly hair that gave him a delicate appearance, his dark, dangerous eyes, and his perfectly shaped pink lips made him look like a god.
And in a way, he was a god-of his own world.
Alessandro smirked a little when he noticed her staring at him, but he wasn't here to play. He was here for one thing-to get what he wanted.
Aurora gulped in fear again and tried to walk past him, but she was dragged back, her body trembling as she looked into his black eyes.
She still hadn't realized that he was the one she had been waiting for.
"Where do you think you're going?" he asked, his deep voice sending shivers down her spine.
Just his voice alone was enough to instill fear. Everything about him screamed danger, and all she wanted to do was run.
"I... I don't... see how that's any of your business," she stuttered, her voice betraying her fear.
"Is she trying to run?" he wondered, staring at her blankly, though his expression held a hint of menace.
He turned and signaled to his guards, and immediately they moved beside Aurora.
"What are you doing?" she asked, her voice shaking, as they grabbed hold of her.
"Let go of me!" she screamed, struggling against their grip, but it was futile.
"Get her to the car," Alessandro commanded, and they dragged her toward the vehicle.
"Let me go!" she yelled as they forced her inside. Almost immediately, Alessandro slid in beside her, and she shifted uncomfortably.
"Take us to one of the fancy hotels," he ordered the driver.
"Yes, boss." The driver started the car and sped off.
"Look, I don't know you, so let me go!" Aurora pleaded, but Alessandro just stared at her lips, wishing to taste them.
His phone rang, and he diverted his attention to it, frowning at the caller ID.
"Yes?" he answered.
"Boss, she tried to escape," the voice on the other end informed him. Alessandro's anger surged.
"End her life immediately," he said coldly before ending the call.
Aurora gasped in fear, having overheard the conversation.
Would they kill her too? The thought sent chills down her spine as she stared at Alessandro, who was now focused on his phone.
"Somebody help!" she screamed, pounding on the car window, causing Alessandro to growl in frustration.
He grabbed her roughly, forcing her to meet his dark, menacing eyes.
"Shut up, or I'll make you regret it," he warned, his voice dripping with anger. Aurora shivered in fear and nodded quickly.
He released her, turning his attention back to his phone while Aurora gazed out the window, trying to calm herself by focusing on the cool breeze.
She felt a sudden chill and instinctively wrapped her arms around herself. The strapless gown she was wearing did nothing to keep her warm.
Noticing her discomfort, Alessandro pulled off his jacket and extended it toward her.
"Here," he said.
Aurora turned to him.
