Chapter 1 Beginning

"Run, Julia...!" Ambar Triatmo Smith, the fifty-year-old woman shouted to tell her daughter to run away.

Srak.....Srak.....

Julia Smith ran barefoot, she broke through the wilderness in Parangkaris-Sukabumi Village. Her legs bled from being hit by weeds that looked small but thick.

Julia looked back, seeing a forty-five-year-old man chasing after her. Julia's feet were tired of running, but the man behind her tirelessly continued to chase her to catch Julia.

Dodit Sarjono, he is Julia's stepfather. He married Ambar ten years ago after a month Smith his father Julia died of a heart attack. Dodit brought a daughter with a marriage with his first ex-wife.

Dodit's hobby is just gambling and getting drunk, Julia's father's legacy has been used up for his gambling bets. Dodit even has a lot of debt until he is unable to pay it.

During this time Julia was always paying off her stepfather's debt, but without Julia knew her stepfather had borrowed two hundred thousand dollars to the meanest moneylender in her village.

Finally the debt must be paid immediately, the moneylender bills the money to the house by bringing four large-bodied people. Dodit was hit so hard that it fell on the yard.

After their departure from Julia's house, Dodit forced Julia to wear a white dress and dress up very pretty. Unsuspecting, Julia obeyed her stepfather's wishes but when Julia found out he was going to sell finally Julia rebelled.

Dodit forced Julia. Ambar, who knew Dodit's foul intentions, immediately helped Julia to escape, with her weak body trying to release Dodit's hand on Julia's. However, Ambar lost power until Dodit chased Julia.

"Julia! Stop you!" Dodit shouted behind the girl.

"Hah...hah...Help me, God." Julia's breath began to pierce, she was tired to run up to....

Bruk!

Julia fell in the humid land of the Parangkaris forest, a pine forest that is famous for being haunted and rarely traversed by people.

Julia was finally caught by Dodit and brought back home. Ambar could only cry seeing Julia and felt sorry for marrying Dodit to make her life suffer.

"Aura!"

"Yes, Pa." A girl who has a fat body comes out of the room, she's a year younger than Julia. Aura was spoiled by Dodit, all his desires were fulfilled by Dodit even homework was all done by Julia. Aura just relaxes and plays cellphone all day, while Julia has to work in a clothing store as a waiter.

Julia's small salary is used to pay off Dodit's debts, until now Julia has been unable to pay debts to Oman Sanjaya.

Gubrak!

Dodit pushed Julia's body to fall on the cold floor which was only covered by cement polish. They are unable to replace the floor of the house with ceramics such as the floor of a neighbor's house.

"You clean her and change the sexy clothes. I want to sell it at a very high price, "Dodit said to Aura.

"Don't sell my child, I still have gold deposits. You can sell it, but let Julia go." Ambar Pinta.

"Cih! Gold is worthless compared to your child's virginity!" Dodit Umpat.

Half an hour later Julia was finished by Aura, Dodit threatened Julia, if Julia did not want to be sold she would give Julia's mother to the bookies to be tortured. Julia finally resigned and followed Dodit's wishes.

"Let me meet with Mr. Oman," Ambar asked.

Ambar finally came to Oman's house which collected her husband's debt. Two guards held Ambar to enter the gate, they did not allow Ambar to enter.

Ambar continued to shout asking to meet with the owner of the house. However, they continued to drive away Ambar. The commotion created by Ambar reached Oman's ears.

"Kimo!"

A big man approached Oman.

"Yes, boss. What do you need, sir?" Ask Oman's personal assistant.

"What's the commotion ahead?"

"In front there is Ambar his wife Dodit, she wants to meet you, should I meet her sir?"

"No need, bring her before me!"

"Fine, sir."

Kimo goes to see Ambar in front of the gate and takes her to meet his boss.

Oman Sanjaya is a sixty year old man, his wife died two years ago. He has a wealth that is very wasteful from his grandfather. The Omani family known to the community is a wealthy moneylender.

"I have brought Mrs. Ambar here, sir." Kimo reported before bringing Ambar together with Oman.

"Bring in, and leave us both." Oman's orders on Kimo.

Kimo opened the door of Oman's study, then sent Ambar to enter the room.

"Please enter, madam! Mr. Oman is waiting inside, "Kimo said.

"Thank you." Ambar stepped into Oman's room which was almost similar to a library. She turned right and left looking for Oman's whereabouts because the room was so spacious and lined up books on the shelf.

"Let's go in, Mrs. Ambar." Said Oman from behind the bamboo bulkhead. His desk is behind the bamboo carving of the room. He looks busy with note books piled on the table.

Ambar approached Oman then sat in front of him, he looked nervous and scared. It's no secret, the citizens know Oman as a cruel man and don't have

"No need to be afraid, what are you looking for me?" he asked in a heavy voice.

From Oman's voice and tone, Ambar felt that Oman was not a cruel man. Oman looks good and wise.

After exhaling his heavy breath, Ambar ventured to say to Oman.

"I want to sell my daughter named Julia," Ambar spoke in a trembling voice.

Oman was astonished, both of his allies linked because they were confused by the words of Ambar who wanted to sell his own daughter.

"Selling your daughter? I do not understand your point, "Oman asked Ambar again for fear of being wrong with his hearing.

"Yes sir, I really want to sell my daughter to you. Mr. Oman can tell her anything, please help me to save my daughter." Said Ambar crying and kneeling at Oman's feet.

"Why do you want to sell your daughter?" Oman again asked Ambar.

"My husband wants to bring my daughter to the bookies for sale, if until Julia is sold to the bookies Julia will be made a comfort woman. Please buy my daughter named Julia to be a maid, gardener or other job." Answer Ambar with sobbing.

Oman also understood Ambar's intentions, he wanted to sell Ambar to him as a payment for her husband's debt so as not to sell it to the loan sharks.

The Truth About His Mistress

I was four months pregnant, a photographer excited for our future, attending a sophisticated baby brunch. Then I saw him, my husband Michael, with another woman, and a newborn introduced as "his son." My world shattered as a torrent of betrayal washed over me, magnified by Michael's dismissive claim I was "just being emotional." His mistress, Serena, taunted me, revealing Michael had discussed my pregnancy complications with her, then slapped me, causing a terrifying cramp. Michael sided with her, publicly shaming me, demanding I leave "their" party, as a society blog already paraded them as a "picture-perfect family." He fully expected me to return, to accept his double life, telling his friends I was "dramatic" but would "always come back." The audacity, the calculated cruelty of his deception, and Serena's chilling malice, fueled a cold, hard rage I barely recognized. How could I have been so blind, so trusting of the man who gaslighted me for months while building a second family? But on the plush carpet of that lawyer's office, as he turned his back on me, a new, unbreakable resolve solidified. They thought I was broken, disposable, easily manipulated – a "reasonable" wife who would accept a sham separation. They had no idea my calm acceptance was not surrender; it was strategy, a quiet promise to dismantle everything he held dear. I would not be handled; I would not understand; I would end this, and make sure their perfect family charade crumbled into dust.

I Slapped My Fiancé-Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis

Being second best is practically in my DNA. My sister got the love, the attention, the spotlight. And now, even her damn fiancé. Technically, Rhys Granger was my fiancé now-billionaire, devastatingly hot, and a walking Wall Street wet dream. My parents shoved me into the engagement after Catherine disappeared, and honestly? I didn't mind. I'd crushed on Rhys for years. This was my chance, right? My turn to be the chosen one? Wrong. One night, he slapped me. Over a mug. A stupid, chipped, ugly mug my sister gave him years ago. That's when it hit me-he didn't love me. He didn't even see me. I was just a warm-bodied placeholder for the woman he actually wanted. And apparently, I wasn't even worth as much as a glorified coffee cup. So I slapped him right back, dumped his ass, and prepared for disaster-my parents losing their minds, Rhys throwing a billionaire tantrum, his terrifying family plotting my untimely demise. Obviously, I needed alcohol. A lot of alcohol. Enter him. Tall, dangerous, unfairly hot. The kind of man who makes you want to sin just by existing. I'd met him only once before, and that night, he just happened to be at the same bar as my drunk, self-pitying self. So I did the only logical thing: I dragged him into a hotel room and ripped off his clothes. It was reckless. It was stupid. It was completely ill-advised. But it was also: Best. Sex. Of. My. Life. And, as it turned out, the best decision I'd ever made. Because my one-night stand isn't just some random guy. He's richer than Rhys, more powerful than my entire family, and definitely more dangerous than I should be playing with. And now, he's not letting me go.
