And she was not entirely sure whether she was the luckiest person in the world to have experienced the kind of love you read about in books, and watch in movies, and sing about in songs, or if she was the unluckiest person in the world to have her emotions so utterly controlled by one singular person.
With Beckham, Bella felt like the happiest girl in the world. She was content and calm, and it was like nothing else mattered. She could be having the worst day, everything going wrong, but a simple text, or hug, or even thinking about him, felt like coming up for air. It was like she was drowning, and he was air.
But without Beckham, Bella felt like she couldn't breathe. Just the idea of one day losing him made her feel weak and sick and pained. She didn't like that someone could have such an effect on her, but what could she do? She was completely and totally in love.
