"Let go of me, Cane! I regret the very day we met. You are a mons..." Cane shuts her up with a resounding slap as he boils up in rage.
"You bitch!!, how dare you?" He drags her by the hair and a groan is heard.
"Ahhhhhh!" She screams in pain and fear,
"Leeave me alone!.... Let go of me!" Seeing that he has no intention of stopping at any moment, she raises her leg and hits him right between his legs. Oh yes, his genitals.
The impact causes him to finally let go as he went down on his knees while groaning in pain.
Vanessa seizes that opportunity to run out of the house into the woods. Everyone had warned her but so blinded by love, she ignored all the cautions and pieces of advice and continued to stay in the abusive marriage with the mindset that Cane would eventually change.
But no. No, no. It only got worse. She turned into his punching bag as it went from being a once-in-a-while thing to a frequent exercise. She was fed up. How she cursed the day they met.
She was also glad that they hadn't had any children yet. There was no way a child would come into this world only to have such a man as a father.
All of these go through her thoughts as she runs through the woods as fast as her legs could carry, Cane follows her, limping in pain as he holds his nutsack.
"Vanessa!!" "Vanessa!!" He screams "Come back here!" "You're mine and mine alone."
Vanessa increased her pace, and Cane wasn't giving up either.
It's over an hour into the chase, Vanessa is getting exhausted but she maintains her speed as she knows what Cane would do if he finally catches up with her. She'd made up her mind to leave and never return.
Cane starts losing sight of Vanessa, as she gets lost in the woods and that makes him even angrier, it is as if an angel of death had possessed him, urging him to do the worst.
Cane slows down and looks around for a weapon, 'Anything that'll inflict so much pain on her' "Maybe next time she'll think twice before she attempts running away from me" he thinks to himself.
Just about a minute into his search he finds a broken wheelchair. He swiftly grabs it and slams it against a nearby tree, breaking off a sharp metal edge. Then returns to his wild chase but this time he completely loses sight of Vanessa.
Cane is devastated as he stops and breathes heavily, with rage, pain, and a sense of loss, he wishes to 'grab Vanessa by the head and squeeze her brain juice out.'
"Ouch!!", "Ahhhh!" Vanessa screams in pain as she dashes her leg and stumbles over a rough stone. Immediately she covers her mouth with her right hand realizing her scream could give out her location. But it was too late as Cane had already heard her scream.
"Hhhhm!!" She clutches the injured leg as she grimaces. She is in severe pain. She gets to her feet and continues running, pushing through the pain, limping as she makes her escape.
When Cane hears Vanessa scream from a distance he turns his head to note where her scream came from, and then he runs in that direction.
Vanessa bleeds while running nonstop but couldn't run as fast as she needed to. She spots a nearby cabin, then climbs in through a window quickly and quietly, to avoid making sounds that'll draw Cane's attention towards her location.
About 30 minutes later, Cane closes in and sees the cabin, he walks towards it and observes the vicinity.
In a Predatory manner, he sniffs the air, trying to perceive Vanessa's body and presence.
Cane wasn't sure whether to go in or continue looking for Vanessa in The woods. So he screams "Vanessa!!!!" "Vanessa!!" He maintains his pitch and then goes on to say "You're my Wife, you'll always be my wife, you cannot run from it, you cannot hide from it because I'll always find you."
Vanessa sweats profusely and Shivers at the thought of Cane finding her, she hides inside the cabin taking a peek at Cane through a small window but gets scared and mistakenly hits the metal kettle close to her, making a loud noise and letting Cane Know that indeed someone is in the cabin and it could be Vanessa.
Cane briskly runs toward the entrance of the cabin but is stopped by an elderly man who sits beside the entrance.
"Hey, You... you seem too eager to get in, what exactly brings you to my home? Why are you holding such a sharp piece in your hand?" "Were you sent to kill me?" he says in his old and shaky voice.
"You live here?" Cane asks while pointing at the door of the cabin.
"Of course, I do," the old man replies.
"I'm looking for my wife," Cane says.
"I haven't been with any woman in the past decade yet you accuse me of holding your wife?"
Cane is so out of patience, that he replies to the old man in a rude and firm tone, "Look, Old man, I do not know you, I do not have any business with you, and I surely do not care who you've been with, in the last decade, I only came to get my Wife and I think she is inside, I'm going in now, stay out of my business."
The old man looks away as Cane goes inside.
Vanessa heard the conversation all the while and chose to escape through a big window when she heard Cane kick the cabin's door open.
Cane gets into the cabin, catches a glimpse of her escaping through the window and quickly runs back out through the front door, grabbing a solid brick and targeting Vanessa's knee with deadly precision.
"Bitch!!" he screams at Vanessa as he violently throws the brick against her knee.
Vanessa stumbles instantly, her injured knee throbbing with pain, she watches as he advances toward her, and then she cries and pleads, "Cane, please, you do not have to do this!"
His eyes, filled with a sinister determination, meet hers as he approaches in total silence, wiggling the metal piece he had broken off of the wheelchair earlier.
"I'm sor... I'm sorry Cane, Please do not hurt me, I'll behave next time," she says while crying and shaking in fear.
She continues sobbing and begging, "Remember how we started, and how far we've come," "I was angry, that was why I ran away, it'll never repeat itself, I promise," she says shakily.
Cane, filled with rage and the desire to inflict pain on her, vehemently swings the rod against Vanessa's head.
Vanessa knowingly falls flat to the ground to dodge Cane's killer swing as she screams in fear; "Ahhhh!!" She cries.
Cane grew angrier and decided to go for a kill the second time.
Just as the sharp edge of the rod inches closer, a bone-chilling howl echoes through the dark woods.
He aims at her neck and goes ahead to p........
