Chapter 1

"Happy anniversary, Babe!" I congratulated my boyfriend for getting close and hugged him very tightly "Are you okay? Do you seem sad now?" I'm worried about the question

"I'm okay. Just stressed about the thesis" he smiled at me. He hugged me back before planting a kiss on the head

"Happy anniversary" he whispered to me.

After a while, I saw behind her Kim my best friend and Mark her boyfriend and Prin's best friend. Kim gave me a beautiful smile while Prin's face was wrinkled "What happened to your boyfriend?" I whispered as Kim approached us "That's just not in the mood. Let it go" he said laughing

"Hey, help me later. Let's fix my condo. It's our anniversary. I'll surprise him later" I excitedly told Kim

"I'm in" he also whispered to me

Kim and I grew up together. Our mommies are best friends, that's why when they found out that their daughter will be the same girl, they were very happy. They still plan to get pregnant at the same time, which is why Kim and I's birthdays are only one day apart. We are both only children, that's why we found a sibling in each other.

"Babe, Kim and I are leaving first, we're just going to buy you and Mark some bonding first" I said goodbye

"Where are you taking Kim?" her boyfriend asked

"Just letting you know. Babe, I'll text you later "I smiled and went back to Kim to ask her to buy some design for our surprise later. I also plan to cook Prin's favorite carbonara to make him happy.

Prin, Mark, and Kim are doing business. They were in the same class, only I was separated because I took architecture. Our families are known in the field of business. My family owns chains of hotels, because of the only child they wanted me to handle our business, but I declined because I wanted to make my own name I do not want to depend on them though I am really grateful because they give me everything I need. They are not strict with me either. I can do whatever I want. Sometimes they say I have a headache but they still love me "I don't know but I'm nervous for later. Come with me and let's surprise Prin" I said to my friend.

"Of course. I'll take the pictures and video. What's the point of me being your bff if I can't support you"

It was almost 4:pm when we finished all our shopping. We immediately went to my condo to fix it. Kim made all the decorations while I was busy preparing the food.

I hope Prin likes it

It was 6:pm when we finished and we were ready. Kim texted Mark and Prin to go to the condo.

The light was off and only heart shaped candles illuminated the whole place. I was standing in the middle of it holding a cake with a message written on it. "Happy 5th anniversary Babe!"

Little by little we heard the turning of the doorknob

They are here!

The song "More Than Words" immediately started playing. The door opened and Prin's shocked eyes were the first thing I saw. It was replaced by joy and little by little I could see the smiles on his lips. He approached me while shaking his head. He stood in front of me.

"I should be the one doing this not the other way around Baby" he answered with a laugh

"I love you. This makes me happy. Seeing your reaction makes me happy" I said tearfully

He took the cake I was holding and handed it to Mark who I didn't notice was with him. He and Kim are standing next to each other and looking at us. Prin touched both of my cheeks.

"You deserve a guy better than me. I love you even if things are against things. I love you. Even if our situation seems vague, I love you and when I can I will shout that I love you so much" he said before giving me a kiss on the lips

Confused by the words he said, I closed my eyes to feel his kiss.

He let go and I could see his teary eyes. I turned back to where he was looking and saw that our two friends hadn't left yet. I suddenly felt ashamed I ​held his hand.

"I prepare something for you" I said and pulled him to the veranda to show him the dinner I prepared for the two of us.

Prin hugged me from behind.

"The luck of your marriage" he whispered to me

"And that will be you, idiot" and hit his arm "Let's eat" my nanny said

"I think we need to go" said Mark while holding Kim's hand. I gave him a thumbs up to show that our plan was a success.

He gave me a smile.

"You can stay. Arisse seems to have prepared a lot "It's your anniversary Prin. We'll let you have your night tonight and I'll take care of my girlfriend first" and hugged Kim.

"Oh, okay" Prin nodded

I stood up to hug Kim.

"I owe you a lot. I'll make it up to you next time. Super thank you. I love you" I whispered to him.

"Enjoy the rest of the night"

They left and Prin and I were left behind. I noticed that Prin suddenly became silent. I'm the only one who constantly asks him questions and stories "Is there a problem Prin?" I noticed his somewhat surprised reaction before smiling

"Nothing. I'm just shy because I didn't prepare anything special for you"

"No need. You are enough for me. I'm doing this cause I have the time. I understand that you're busy" I said with a smile

He went next to me. He held my hand.

"Thank you for the love Arisse. I really appreciate this. Your love is so grand. Your love always covers me. It makes me feel that I am really special. I don't know what I did in the past life to experience this. I am happy with you. I've been truly and genuinely happy with you" this tearful statement

"I am happy too. We won't last this long if I'm not happy"
