Chapter 1 First Bump

After a long summer vacation, Ashley is very excited to be reunited with her friends. It's Friday and they are supposed to meet at the club tonight to catch up before classes return on Monday. They meet on the tables in front of the private booth area.

When Ashley arrived at the club, Kelsey, Jack and Mel were already sitting down having their first drink.

"Sorry, I am late!" Ashley says as she approaches the table. "Hey, you're finally here!, Jack replies. How was your summer?

Let me grab a drink and we can chat more, as she crosses the private booths and approaches the bar for a drink, she sees a couple coming her way. "Fuck! It's Matt and that bitch!"

Matthew is Ash's ex boyfriend. Last year, while Ashley was out of town visiting family, Jack saw Matt kissing one of Ash's classmates at a boat party. Later on, she found out they were meeting in secret and ended the relationship.

When Ash sees them coming her direction she starts to walk quickly towards the washroom to escape. Suddenly, she bumps into a person coming out of the private booth. Seeing that they are already approaching her she quickly looks into the stranger she bumped into and says: "You finally here!" Then kiss him and hold his hand.

Josh looks at her surprised and before he can say anything, she turns to face Matt and Stacey, smile and says:

"Hey guys!"

Stacey smiles back and says: "oh hey you! How are you doing?"

"I am great! Yourself?" Ash replies

Matt now looks at Ash and says: "hey, nice to see you! You look great". Then he looks at Josh with a surprised face.

Ash notes his expression and states: "Have you met my boyfriend? This is Paul, Paul this is Matt and Stacey!"

Josh looks at them and decides to play the game: "Hi, nice to meet you! Paul here"

Stacey looks at Josh and replies: "Nice to meet you Paul!" She thinks: 'wow, Ashley found herself a really cute boyfriend. She then looks at Matt and sees his eyes fixed on his ex. Jealous, she decides to end the conversation and reminds Matt their friends are waiting in the next room. They say goodbye, and leave.

Once they're gone, Ash sighs in relief. She now remembers the stranger beside her turns to him. Embarrassed, she says: "oh hey, thanks! And Sorry! Bye!" She then leaves in a hurry and enters the washroom. Entering the washroom, she looks herself in the mirror and smirks in satisfaction remembering how jealous Stacey looked and how she was able to show them she had moved on from the past.
