INSEPARABLE LOVE

"Miss Blair", the nanny called.

She gently knocked on the white wooden door with 'BLAIR' written in big block letters on it. After a few minutes of no response, she realized her madam wasn't going to answer. She opened the door and stepped into the room. She walked into the massive bedroom with great difficulty as there were heaps of toys around the room. In the bedroom, she found her madam fast asleep under a heap of stuffed animals. She huffed slightly and prepared to clear the bed a little to get to her madam. Pulling the blanket away, she gently shook her madam.

"Miss Blair, it's time to wake up", she said.

Blair just whined and burrowed herself deeper into her bed. It was nothing new to the nanny as this was a daily routine. Waking the madam took great care and patience since she switched her personalities at any time. She walked to the window and drew the curtains apart letting the sunlight filter into the room. Blair whined again and mumbled something which the Nanny couldn't hear. She walked to her madam and proceeded to wake her up again. Shaking her gently again, she woke her up.

"Five more minutes Nana" Blair said cutely.It was then the Nanny knew she had switched back to her child personality; Honey. She only called her Nana when Honey had taken over. "No little one, we have to wake up. You know it takes hours for you to get ready" she said.

Blair turned to face her and yawned cutely. She opened her eyes to look at her nanny. She raised her hands and blinked at her Nana indicating to pick her up. Nanny Lin chuckled and shook her head. Grabbing her hands, she pulled her into a sitting position causing her to stagger in the process.

"You're getting big now Honey, I can't carry you anymore", Nanny Lin said laughing. Blair mumbled under her breath and turned her legs from the bed and wore her slippers.She guided the sleepy head to the bathroom. While she run the warm bath, Blair stripped off her clothes. Sinking into the bath tub, Blair enjoyed the warm water as her Nana washed her hair.

"May I have my duckies, Nana?" She asked.

"Of course Honey" Nana Lin replied.

She wiped her hands on a towel and went to get Blair's duckies. Putting them in the water, she resumed washing Blair's hair.

"Is there anything you would like to do today?" Nanny Lin asked.

Blair shook her head.

"I just want to stay at home" she replied playing with the ducks.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, please"Nanny Lin let out a sad sigh.

They have been trying to get her out of the mansion ever since the accident. She once had a panic attack by merely standing at the main gate. It had been a tough 15 years ever since the death of Mr. and Mrs. Johnson. No one knew what really happened as the only witness was the little madam. She had refused to speak about the accident. When she was forced, she stayed mute for 10 years and only communicated by writing on notepads. It was so bad to a degree that her therapist gave up on her. But Nanny Lin never stopped trying. She observed her madam so much that she knew when she switched personalities. It had been tough for the past years but events there had been progress.

She rinsed out the shampoo from Blair's long curly hair and wrapped into a big fluffy towel. She proceeded to get Blair's robe.

"You can get out of the water now Honey" Nanny Lin said opening the robe for her to wear it.

Blair got up and turned to put her hands through the robe. She stepped out of the tub and wiped her feet on the soft carpet by the bathtub. Nanny Lin helped her in brushing her teeth and they left the bathroom to get the little madam ready. The room was spotless when they got back. Toys were packed back into their boxes and the bed was well laid with the stuffed animals neatly arranged. Blair settled down on her dresser and two more servants joined to help Nanny Lin get their madam ready. After two hours of brushing and combing the wild locks, they put it into two low ponytails. They dressed her in a sea blue sundress and a straw hat as she requested to have her breakfast in the garden. Blair skipped happily down the stairs with the servants running after her to make sure she doesn't fall.

"Miss Honey, please be careful on the stairs, you might fall" said one of the servants.

Nanny Lin chuckled and proceeded to clean up the dresser.When Blair got down the stairs, she rushed to the backdoor in the kitchen to go to the garden. She greeted the servants in the kitchen and left the kitchen. When she reached the garden, she saw the gardener planting new sunflowers in the garden. She run towards him and crouched down looking at the flowers in a fascinated manner.

"Where did you get those, Mr. Ben?" She asked.

"From the flower shop in town" he replied smiling softly.

"Wow, they are pretty", she said giggling.

"Miss Blair, your breakfast has been served" said a servant. She turned towards the servant.

"Thank you" she said politely.

Turning back to the gardener she said, "I am going to have my breakfast and come to help you, Mr. Ben"

She got up and followed the servant and went to where a mini picnic had been set up for her. Removing her sandals, she sat down on the woven red and white gingham fabric and proceeded to take out her breakfast from the basket to eat. Her breakfast was simply warm milk, with one sunny side up eggs on a slice of bread and a little bowl of strawberries.

After finishing her breakfast, she proceeded to take her plates and put them in the basket that it was in. She stood up from the cloth with the basket and wore her sandals. She neatly folded the cloth and put it on the basket, took the basket and sent it back to the kitchen. Thanking the kitchen staff for the meal, she rushed back to the garden to help Ben in planting new sunflowers while giggling happily.

Nanny stood at the kitchen looking at her madam with fondness.

"She's an angel, isn't she?" A voice said.

She turned to the voice to find Mr. Steve, the current CEO of the Johnson Empire. The previous secretary of Mr. Johnson who decided to take care of the empire till Blair was well braced to take up the role. It seemed he had asked the kitchen staff to leave while she was distracted looking at her little madam. Nanny Lin smiled fondly and turned back to see her little madam.

"Yes she is" she said.

"I spoke to her therapist yesterday. She thinks it's about time we let her out of the house"

"You know what happens when she barely gets near the gate Mr. Steve", Nanny Lin said with a hint of annoyance in her voice. As much as she loves for Blair to leave the house, she cannot risk her having to go mute again.

"That's why am discussing this with you"She turned back to the man.

"What do you mean by that?"

"We have to find a way to let her out of the house without her being aware of it. You're the only person who knows Blair and Honey by heart. If there's anyone I trust with her that would be you"

"You know that's impossible. Unless she somehow passes out or reverts to her actual self which I must say comes once in a blue moon"

"True. I am not saying we should do it now, I am just saying we could start planning"

Nanny Lin huffed in frustration and turned back to the window.

"I will think of something, Mr. Steve"

"Thank you Lin. When is her next therapy session?"

"Today at 3pm. Dr. Greenwood will be coming by"Mr. Steve nodded his head.

He turned and left the kitchen.A stray tear fell from her eyes. She wiped it quickly with the back of her hand. She knew getting her little madam out of the house was going to be difficult but they had to try. If not, she was going to be stuck her in this house forever.

It was mostly difficult since Blair feared any moving vehicle. Seeing a bicycle could drive her into a panic attack. So vehicles were never seen in the house, a separate place for all vehicles was built in order for her not hear the sounds as they feared, she might go unconscious.
