"Hey sis where are we going in the middle of the night? It's so dark and cold and where's mom and bro Alex ?said worried Matilda{the last child and second daughter of the Adams family},"hey baby calm down we need to get to a safe place before answering any of your questions,said scared and tired Allison after walking for a very long time

Introducing the Adams family

Allison Adams {a 21 years old lady an epitome of beauty,the perfect example of figure eight, intelligent,always cheerful,kind, and a good sibling}.

Alex Adams { a 25 years old man the first son and child of the family,always smiling,a cute face someone could die for, intelligent and also perfect brother one could ever wish for}

Matilda Adams {a 10 years old girl though she was adopted but she always have her ways of bringing happiness to their home, pretty and outspoken}.

Mrs Nicole Smith Adams {a 45 years old woman, mother to Allison,Alex and Matilda, wife to the late Mr George Adams, a beautiful, caring, understanding and best of all mothers}

Mr George Adams { a 48 years old man who died in an accident a year back though he was the best father they could ever imagined,he was hardworking even till his last breathe,he cared so much about his family and tried so much to make sure they never lack anything}.

Though they're middle class but they are always contented and never took up a fight with anyone they're are the real example of easygoing,both the parents and the children until this very cold night when this dreadful accident happened that took the life of a mother and child.

"Okay baby I think we're save now, said still scared Allison putting little Matilda down under a tree after siting a building with lights inside."

"Ok big sis I think I need some explanations, what's happening why are we here?said Matilda"

"Please can you give me some time to think, we need to get to safer place and I think we should go to the building over there maybe we could find some shelter and clothes 'cause I'm freezing.So enough with the questions and let's keep walking." said Addison

Few minutes later, "oooh big sis I'm so tired,I don't think I can keep walking,said Matilda,"okay I'll carry you but don't slow me down with your talks, said Addison ".Some minutes passed and they got to the house , the music playing was so loud and one could hear from outside.

Addison cared less about it and went in , after a lot of shouting,a lady with heavy makeup came to them and asked what they wanted. So they went outside 'cause of the loud music to talk.

"Please ma'am we need somewhere to sleep and some clothes to wear "Addison said

"Oh okay please wait a minute lemme get my things" the Lady said. So they waited outside for her after few seconds she came out and led them to her car.

Inside the car , the Lady asked "What your name and what're you doing at the time of the night only in pyjamas",then Addison used that opportunity to explain everything to the Lady and her sister who has been asking about it. After the explanation Maltida was dumbstrucked and started weeping.After few minutes of crying and consolation,the Lady of about the same age with Addison took them to her house and gave them some clothes to change in. She gave them food to eat though it was already late but they seemed hungry and she also introduced herself as Becky Williams,she lives alone though she has family but decided to start fending on her own 'cause of her family money issues. After chitchatting for some time they all went to bed.

Addison could not sleep as a result of the incident she witnessed, (At around 8:30 pm in the night when the incident occurred , Addison,Alex and their mom were watching their favorite show by that time Matilda was asleep in their room , as at exactly 9:00pm the show was ended ,they were preparing to go to bed when Addison ran upstairs 'cause she didn't wanna lock the main gate ,so her mom told her brother to go lock it 'cause HE'S THE MAN as he always say but he was also scared because it was always dark and scary in the nights,so when he went outside to lock it, she followed him quietly without anyone noticing to scare him. She hasn't moved up to three legs when she heard gunshots, she was so scared that she ran inside back and hid behind the staircase whereas her mom was in the kitchen before the gunshots happened,so as her mom was trying to hide ,a hefty man with big muscles shot her mom right in front of her but the man didn't notice her .

Few moments later, when she didn't hear anything she ran upstairs, carried her heavy sleeper sister on her arm and escaped ).
