"I reject you! Lucas Archer Farrow from the White Walkers Pack! From now on, I will be nobody's Luna but myself!" The youngest multi-billionaire Alpha in werewolf history turned out to be a woman. Leah Lewyn walked out of the airport in low profile and was immediately surrounded by hundreds of paparazzi. "Why did you reject your ex-husband, Alpha Lucas of the White Walkers?" a reporter asked. "Are you kidding me? I've got my own wolf pack to run and a gazillion-dollar fortune to inherit," she replied. "Is it true that you're currently having affairs with 8 young actors at the same time?" another reporter inquired. "Give me a break," Leah rolled her eyes and chuckled. "They're young aspiring contract models." She barely finished her words before someone walked out of the crowd and stated in a cold voice, "She is currently having an affair with no one else but me, her one and only ex-husband." "Miss Lewyn, I've got a wolf pack to run and a gazillion dollars as well. Why don't you come and be my Luna, so you can inherit my money?"

Chapter 1 No.1

Leah's POV

My husband, Lucas Farrow, Alpha of the White Walkers Pack, was staring at me.

In his eyes, I couldn't see anything but resentment and disgust.

"Why did you do that to Jo?" His voice was detached. "Don't you know that I made a promise to her after her brother passed away?!"

Josephine.

Ever since I got married to Lucas, I realized that there were three people in our marriage.

Josephine was my husband's Beta Basil's only sister.

After Beta Basil passed away, he entrusted his sister to my husband.

Now, she was trembling in my husband's arms, whimpering.

"Luke, don't blame Leah! It's all my fault. I poured the hot coffee all over me," she said in a begging voice.

"I didn't pour coffee on her! She did it by herself!" I frowned and argued.

I didn't expect her to pull something so low to sabotage the relationship between me and my husband.

Five minutes ago, she walked into the kitchen and poured a whole pot of boiling coffee on herself and exclaimed for help.

I didn't even touch her!

"Leah's always been jealous of Josephine! Poor Josephine! Why should she put up with all this!" My mother-in-law Rosalie nagged on the side.

That evil witch had never liked me because I used to be an Omega.

To her, I was nowhere near to meet her requirement for her daughter-in-law.

That was why she was more than happy to see me suffering.

Lucas lowered his head and said in a tender voice, "Jo, you're so sweet. Don't worry, I'll deal with it. Mother, could you please walk Josephine upstairs and help her to change? I need to talk to Leah."

"Sure," Rosalie gloated, rolling her eyes at me.

Before Josephine left the room, I saw the smirk on her face.

I clenched my fists.

"What did you do to Josephine?" Lucas asked in a cold voice.

There were only two of us in the kitchen and the tension could be cut by a knife.

"I didn't do anything," I said. "She walked in and poured coffee on herself."

Lucas stepped forward and grabbed my arms.

"You're lying!" Lucas roared and shook me. "What's your problem?! She's just a sweet and innocent girl! What the fuck are you thinking, woman? Do you think that by pouring a pot of coffee on her, you could get my attention and save our marriage?!"

At that moment, suppression and grievance in our paper marriage suddenly surfaced.

I was overwhelmed by the pain and anger in my heart, so I looked up at him and said, "So, reject me."

Lucas stared at me with an incredible look on his face.

He had never expected to be talked to by an Omega like that.

In our five-month marriage, I had spoken to him only a few times.

"What? How dare you?! Do you know what the fuck are you talking about?!"

"I'm talking about divorce, Alpha Lucas." I said in a plain voice, holding back tears in my eyes. "I'm fed up with your ignorance and everything. You shouldn't have married me years ago, but I guess now it's still not too late."

Lucas was shocked.

He had always taken my submission and obedience for granted.

He had never thought that I would one day talk to him like this.

He abruptly pressed me against the wall and said in a low, intimidating voice, "Are you trying to leave me?"

"No, I'm trying to set you free," I said. "With me out of the way, you will be able to stay with Josephine without people talking about it behind your back. Reject me right now and I'll take it. Then, you can go to the Moon Goddess and ask for a second chance with Josephine."

Lucas' face darkened and said, "What are you going to do after our divorce?"

"I will move on with my life," I said in a determined voice. "I will find someone who really loves me."

"I will cast you away and you will be a rouge!" Lucas barked at my face. "You will not last for one day in the wild."

"I will survive." I said in a low, steady voice. "I survived you and your family. I will survive anything in this world."

Lucas stared at me.

I looked away, but he pinched my chin and forced me to look back at him.

It seemed that he finally saw me for the first time in his life.

I felt the butterfly in my stomach, the lump in my throat, and the burning sensation in every inch of my skin. My heart was pounding so fast that I wouldn't be surprised if it suddenly stopped functioning.

Lucas stroked my hair behind my ear. As his fingers flicked across my ear, my whole body started shivering.

Then, he drew himself closer to me. For a brief moment, I thought he was about to kiss me.

I bit my lips so that I didn't make any awkward moaning sound.

I looked into his eyes. He was so close, yet so far away from me.

Then, I realized that he was just checking out the scar on my forehead.

He looked a bit surprised because the scar was almost healed.

He cleared his voice and said, "Your blood is precious to Josephine. Your blood is the only cure to stabilize her condition. You need to be more careful."

The moment he let go of me, I felt that someone was peeling off my skin.

What?!

Is he going to...

Drain my blood?!

"What do you mean?!" I panicked.

"Josephine has always been suffering from an unknown disease in immune system." Lucas said. "Only your blood could cure her disease."

I covered my mouth and asked, "Is that why you married me? To get my blood?"

Lucas frowned and said, "That's the only reason I married you. That's why I went to Europe with Josephine as soon as we got married. I had to set up a lab in Switzerland to invest a special transfer machine. Now the equipment is ready. Now, give me a number. I'll wire it to your account right now. For every transfer of blood, you will get paid."
