"Strip!" Alessio's voice was deep and guttural as he gave out the order. Jenna's body quivered but she still did as he asked. She slowly took off her clothes one after the other while being conscious of his unwavering gaze on her body. After she had taken off all of the fabrics, Alessio slowly walked towards her, appearing like a predator. He placed his gun under her chin and lifted her head up. "I'm a bad person. I kill people without a reason. The best you can do is run away from me." He said in an attempt to scare her. The cold metal on Jenna's skin made her shiver but she wasn't a bit scared. "If you wanted me dead, you'd have killed me a long time ago, yet you put up with my excesses. You may be evil but not to me" She said and then placed her hands on his shoulder and pulled him into a kiss. ************ Despite the incessant warnings, Jenna never stopped chasing after him. The man who saved her. He was the only man who was able to shake her heart, the only man she had ever loved~ Alessio Romano And when she eventually got close to hiim, he wanted nothing to do with her. Alessio overlooked Jenna's advances at him not because he didn't fancy her. He just wanted her safe and he was not safe. He was darkness, she was light.
Jenna made her way through the crowd of people, out of the airport. She inhaled deeply, the air of New York City. This was her new life and she vowed to enjoy it to the fullest.
She got into the nearest taxi and gave the driver her address. The taxi began moving while Jenna kept admiring the city views oblivious to her environment.
But soon enough, she noticed something was off. They had been on the road for quite a long time but she was yet to get to her apartment. She moved her head from left to right and only then did she notice that this was in no way the direction she was supposed to be heading to.
She wasn't a New Yorker but she knew quite well that this wasn't close to her address.
"Mister." She beaconed on the driver, "this is not the address I gave you. Turn around." She instructed him but it was as though she was talking to air because the driver remained mute and continued to drive.
"Sir. Turn the car around!" Jenna began to panic.
Instead of the driver to do as she said, he rolled up the tinted windows and locked the doors.
"You better shut it, miss." He said in a gruff voice as he increased the speed of the vehicle.
She began hyperventilating. Was she getting kidnapped? How was she going to escape? What would the man do to her?
Jenna didn't know what to do. She didn't know anyone to call and she had no idea where the man was taking her.
She had heard several stories of people getting kidnapped at the airport but she never thought she'd be a victim.
Perhaps, she had been too excited that she didn't take a proper look at the vehicle before boarding it.
"Mister please, I have nothing to offer you. I'm a poor girl" She pleaded with hopes that the man would have a change of heart and let her go.
All her pleading fell on deaf ears and the driver continued his journey. Eventually, they drove to a secluded spot, surrounded with trees and only then did he stop.
He turned to look at her. "Give me your valuables." He instructed.
"No!" She protested stubbornly.
The man didn't waste a moment and brought out a gun before aiming it at her.
"This is your last chance. I won't hesitate to blow your head and nobody will be able to find your body." He threatened harshly, making all Jenna's strongheadness go down the drain.
Her valuables were important but definitely not as important as her life. She quickly gave him her money and her phone to save herself.
"Get out!" He said after collecting the things from her. Jenna immediately alighted the vehicle with her luggages and he zoomed off, leaving her stranded.
Not only was she new in the city, she also didn't have any cash on her now that he had been robbed. She wasn't with her phone to call an Uber and she was in the middle of nowhere. The man didn't even give her at least a dollar to sustain herself, he took everything from her.
Jenna held back her tears. She didn't want to cry because crying wouldn't solve a thing.
She began to walk in the direction they came from. At least, she'd find someone who'd be willing to help her.
Jenna continued walking for a long time till her legs began to ache and the sun had already set. She needed to find a place to rest her head.
Fortunately for her, she found a grocery store. She got into the get something to eat but first, she went to ease herself.
In the bathroom, after doing her business, she proceeded to walk out only to be pulled back by a drunk man.
"What are you doing? Let me go!" She yelled but the man didn't listen. He corned her to the wall and attempted to harass her.
"How about I put that pretty mouth of yours to good use" the man slurred and Jenna almost puked due to how his breath stank.
Jenna struggled to free herself but the man was too strong for her. So she resulted to what every other girl would do. She raised used her knee to hit him in his groin and that did the job cause the man staggered backwards, giving her the opportunity to flee.
But before she could get to the door, the man pulled her by the hair and drew her back then he landed a punch on her cheek causing her head to spin. "Help!" She cried. "Somebody help me!"
"You little slut!" He cursed and began to rip her clothes apart.
Could this day get any worst?
First, her things got stolen and now she was about to be harassed by a disgusting man.
Jenna couldn't hold back her tears anymore. She came to New York to start a new life and not to be r*pe by a disgusting man.
The man leaned forward to kiss her but she quickly moved her head to the side to prevent his lips from coming in contact with hers.
"Playing hard to get? I like it!" He chucked deeply and held her by the chin in a tight grasps. He then slowly leaned down to kiss her causing Jenna to close her eyes tightly.
There was nothing else she could do. She was tired and hungry and she had no strength left to fight back.
Was this her fate? Jenna's tears poured as she waited for the dirty man to kiss her but it never happened. His lips didn't land on hers.
She opened her eyes slowly to take a peak and know what was delaying him~ not like she was anticipating the kiss.
The scene her eyes met was one she had never expected to see.
Her assaulter was on the floor, in the pool of his own blood. She looked up to see her saviour and her jaw dropped. He was the most alluring man she had ever seen.
