Aen's POV

5 years old Aen,

"Aen, You need to grow up fast. Even if you have a small body of a child, you need to think like an adult. The world is scary than you think. It is a survival arena where the weak will be the first one to die" My father said.

I don't understand what he meant by that. My attention was grabbed by the guy in the street who's selling different kind of colorful toys. There's a lot of barbie dolls and toys for girls there.

"Aen, focus and listen to me" My dad said when he noticed me being distracted.

"But... I want to play" I answered him honestly. Can't a child like me feel like a child for once?

"There's no time for you to play. If you didn't focus, anyone will harm you. if you let your guard down, you will be an easy victim for people who wants to torn you," he said.

"But daddy, this is not a fun game to play. I want to play a barbi---"

"Aen" he called me with his most authoritative voice.

I look down. I say something that make daddy mad at me. I'm sure he will nag me for acting like a baby again.

"Fix your thoughts. I told you to focus. You don't have time to play. I am preparing you for your future survival, Aen. Always think about the future. Don't think about what you can do in the present. If you think in advance, you can have more time to unwind," he said.

I don't understand. Isn't it better to enjoy the present and just worry for the future once it came? Why should I need to worry about the future when I have time now? Future is also uncertain.

"But dad-"

"Start again" he said. at 4 in the morning he wakes me up to jog he said I need to run 2miles in 10 minutes. Like... how can a child like me run that fast? But he said that it will help me in the future purposes. Is daddy wants me to become an athlete? After jogging, he trained me in muay thai. Then at 6 am, he is teaching me karate, we had a small break when mom came with breakfast. We all ate together. My mom is in charge of diet as well. They will give me only small amount of food that was good for my diet but since we are training for whole day today, my mom will cook a lot. To regain my energy.

They say that if I am used in eating small amount of food or no food at all for three days, I can survive if I got kidnapped. I don't understand why they are doing this. Can I count this as a form of abuse?

It continued like that until I became 9 years old. The one year older I get, the more intense the training is. When I was 6 years old, they feed me a small amount of poison. Then every birthday, they added the dosage. They say that if I am used in taking the poison, It won't affect me anymore. So any poisonous food will nothing to me. As I grow older, I am starting to think that my parents has a disorder. That maybe they have a Schizophrenia with persecutory type of delusion. Since they are acting like this. I tried to understand them as they didn't mean any harm. I mean, at least they are not beating me up to death. But they let me suffer using 'Training' as an excuse. Which is I don't know what they want me to prepare for. Since I was 5 until now, I was homeschooled. My mother is my teacher. But... I don't think they are teaching me with what schools teach in their student around my age. My mother teach me advance math, about psychology, the book DSM-V that has all psychological disorders, also they teach me about how to know the location if I am lost in an unknown place. My father teach me about hacking, how to make a website, how to trace someone, how to disarmed any kind of bomb. Like... am I training to become a military personnel?

I don't know what my parents did for work. But once they leave the house, it took how many months for them to come back. But once they are in the house, they didn't waste a single time to train me. like, every minute and seconds they are with me, means I need to train.

When they leave the house, that is the happiest me. because I can play all the toys that I've hiding from them, and I have a freedom to do anything in the house. Oh, they also teach me how to cook my meals. So that they will be at ease when they leave me, I can still have food to eat.
