Story of a CEO and his lover who drifted apart by fate and met by a coincidence!

Chapter 1 The Dazzle

So she was on her way to the Serena Resorts for lunch and a good swim. She was dressed her best and carried herself with all the confidence of the world.

She knew she is going to ace that lunch meetup.

She was going to meet that billionaire Structure Architecture specialist with a major in Civil Engineering. Moez was one of his kind in the whole country. And she was one of her kind in beauty and intelligence.

She was wearing a solid color lavender shirt with capri and her confidence with which she carried herself, made her look even prettier!

Once she carries herself forward, she knew that there was no looking back.

Her life was going to change drastically. Now she was the one writing her rules for life.

She came out of her bubble of perseverance and started to explore the world around her.

She knew she was too full of herself that she didn't need someone to complete her.

But this time, she looked for companionship. Someone whom she can put her trust in.

She loved the heights and he had explored every bit of it.

As she stepped out of her office, a Lamborghini Aventador rushed onto the road, towards her.

She got flashed by the dazzling car and as the car stopped, he opened up the doors of the car, which swifted up. She walked in towards the car and he helped her get in.

He was a multi billionaire who had everything he could desire for. But what he didn't have, was the excitement in life.

And she was a breath of fresh air.

Her laughter, her smile and her voice. She could make anyone fall in love with her.

"Romaisa"

He took her name, with his masculine voice.

She smiled at him, with a soft tone, but she noticed that he looked like he was ready to explode.

This man was so passionate about everything that he couldn't stop himself from doing anything. And she found that very adorable.

The two talked for hours, just like that. The only thing stopping them from continuing their conversation, were the fact that they both had to be at work.

It was now the early morning hours after the meeting. They both felt tired, and decided to call it a day. They said goodbye to each other, kissed on the cheek and went their separate ways, as they would see each other tomorrow.

In another moment, she felt a little nervous. The first meeting she ever took place, with someone she didn't know, she had a bad feeling inside of her chest.

As she drove towards her car, she started to think of how could she face the man tomorrow.

After all, he was not exactly someone you'd expect to be your friend. And as far as her knowledge about him was concerned, that was a bad sign.

The last time someone didn't treat her right; was when she was twelve years old. And if something bad happened to her again...

She shook her head vigorously as the idea of it terrified her. She didn't want to lose anyone else because she lost some of her own self control!

She arrived home and quickly turned on her computer. She began to type furiously at the keyboard, while thinking that maybe it will help her clear her mind.

Before long, she finished typing her article and posted it without hesitation. As the words appeared on the screen, she thought that her plan might work out and that her article will be accepted soon.

The next morning, she woke up early, because she had an interview scheduled at 7:00 am.

After finishing breakfast, she cleaned the apartment and left to the company.

When she arrived, she greeted people with warm smiles and then entered the elevator.

Once she entered the building, she walked through the corridor of the fourth floor and knocked softly on the door of the room where she needed to be.

Soon she heard a familiar voice saying "Come in."

She opened the door, with a smile on her face.

"Hi!" She exclaimed. "I'm here!"

"I saw you entering the building." Moez said with a slight smile on his lips.

"Oh right, I was late and didn't hear the elevator bell ringing!" She explained. "What did you want to show me?"

"You've been working so hard lately and we are short staffed so today is our only day off." He explained. "Let's go into my studio!"

They walked across the corridor together and entered the elevator. He pressed the button to reach the studio floor.

He looked over at her and noticed she was fidgeting with her hands.

"Are you okay? You seem nervous today."

"Yes... Yes! I'm fine!" She answered hurriedly. "I have an interview, don't worry."

He laughed lightly and nodded in understanding.

Once they reached their destination, he unlocked the door.

They entered and found themselves in a large space. In front of them stood a gigantic canvas, covered with different shades of black and white.

There were several chairs placed behind the canvas. On its center, was a table surrounded by four chairs. At one end of the table were three cameras. On the other side was a small window.

A few lights were hanging from above the ceiling, illuminating the room.

Suddenly, she noticed a figure sitting on one of the chairs facing her.

"Hi there, Luna!" He waved cheerfully. "I'm Moez."

Luna approached the man with a big smile on her face. "Hello, Mr. Moez."

"Please, call me Moez. We're gonna work like friends, right?" He asked. "

Luna was the MD of the rival firm. Moez wanted Romaisa to work with Luna. He knew she was good with public dealing. Yet she was a bit hesitant today.

"You're a creepy bastard." His eyes smolder me and his answering grin is nothing short of beautiful. Deadly. "Yet you hunger for me. Tell me, this appetite of yours, does it always tend toward 'creepy bastards'?" **** Widower and ex-boss to the Mafia, Zefiro Della Rocca, has an unhealthy fixation on the woman nextdoor. It began as a coincidence, growing into mere curiosity, and soon, it was an itch he couldn't ignore, like a quick fix of crack for an addict. He didn't know her name, but he knew every inch of her skin, how it flushed when she climaxed, her favourite novel and that every night she contemplated suicide. He didn't want to care, despising his rapt fascination of the woman. She was in love with her abusive husband. She was married, bound by a contract to the Bratva's hitman. She was off-limits. But when Zefiro wanted something, it was with an intensity that bordered on madness. He obsessed, possessed, owned. There'd be bloodshed if he touched her, but the sight of blood always did fascinate him. * When Susanna flees from her husband, she stumbles right into the arms of her devilishly handsome neighbour with a brooding glare. He couldn't stand her, but she needed him, if she was ever going to escape her husband who now wanted her dead. Better the devil you know than the angel you don't. She should have recalled that before hopping into Zefiro's car and letting him whisk her away to Italy. Maybe then, she wouldn't have started an affair with him. He was the only man who touched her right, and the crazy man took no small pains in ensuring he would be the last.
