Chapter 1 Prologue
"What are you so worried about? She's my fiance and I love her, mom and dad already agreed about our marriage so stop meddling"
"I am your older brother therefore listen to my words, it is normal for me to get worried, find another woman that suits our family standard not someone like her! "
" Hah, don't use the 'older brother ' card on me, when did you even care? And don't you dare insult my woman again"
" I'm not insulting her! I just know her nature, she's a gold digger! "
Klen couldn't hold back his anger and punch his brother straight on the face.
" Gold digger? Hah, I don't think so, you said you hate gold diggers but isn't she your first love, brother? Isn't my fiance the love of your life? And don't tell me that you are worried, I know why you are so eager to stop our wedding, it is because you love her, but don't bother, she loves me, we love each other, don't you dare ruin our relationship"
The laugh of Klen's older brother covered the whole room but it didn't last long as when his face turned serious, the worried expression he had earlier faded and it was replaced by a smug smile.
" Love each other? Don't fool yourself Klen, I know you can't love a woman"
Confusion swollen Klen as he looked at his brother.
" W-What are you saying?"
"I know your sexuality Klen, I know you love men and I know your deal with Athena, fine, I'll admit it, yes I love her, that's why if I were you I would back out from this marriage and hand her to me. You need her help to cover up your true gender? You don't need to do such length unto marrying someone, I will help you make our family understand, just give Athena to me, but if you won't, then I swear to do my best in order to ruin you, don't try me, when it comes to the woman I love, I am willing to do anything in my power to get her, don't stuck her in a loveless marriage, you can't love her in your state so if I were you I will give up"
" Athena is too precious for me, I will never hand her to a ruthless person like you, never! You don't know her yet, you don't know the things and secrets she hold and I doubt if you can still love her if you'll knew"
" You really think I'm that naive? You are hurting my pride bro, I know every secrets she has Klen, and that secrets are also the thing that makes me won't give up even more, mark my word, I will take her away from you"
Klen was left in shock and unable to move while looking at the back of his older brother who is now starting to leave the room.
Sweat and fear started to build in his system, he knew his brother, he knew he wasn't bluffing with his words especially when it involved Athena.
"Uncle Klen! Uncle Klen!"
Klen stood up straightly and compose himself when he saw two identical kids running towards him.
His lips curved as he knelt down and open his arms widely welcoming the twins for a hug.
"Hey kids, wazzup?"
"You're sweating uncle, what's the matter?"
One of the twin worriedly ask making him smile, they really are sweet.
"Nah, it's just hot in here"
"Then it's Ice cream time! Treat us to an ice cream Uncle, I want a chocolate flavored"
"Same here, oh wait, I want a white chocolate, let's go~"
The twins started grabbing him towards the exit while he's just laughing.
Even so he still couldn't get the amusement on his face while staring at the face of the twins, their green eyes, their pointed nose. Their faces really resemble their father, even their slightly curl hair are the same as their father.
