Untamed Emotions (Broken Hearts)

Pierce rushed to the dining room struggling with her school bag. She was so late for school.

" Good morning, mom and dad" she greeted her parents. They are dining with her younger siblings, Eleanor and Rhett. They are both twins.

" I'm late for school,, bye!" She yells and tries to rush off but gets stopped by her mom.

" Won't you have breakfast?" Her mom asked.

" Will eat at the cafeteria," she replied.

" Oh, right. Your mom and I won't be coming home tonight. We're meeting with Mr. Gonzales tonight at Busan" Mr. West said.

" Alright, see you tomorrow" she waves and rushes out of the house.

" You two are so spoiled, you couldn't even greet your sister" Mrs. West scolded and Eleanor rolled her eyes.

" It was obvious she didn't have our time," she replied.

" It was obvious she didn't have our time, can you even hear yourself?" Rhett asked, he was mimicking her.

" Okay, fine. I didn't greet her. Why didn't you do that also? Check yourself before talking to me also" Eleanor said.

Like that, they start bickering at each other.

" Enough!" Mr. West suddenly yells and everyone goes silent.

" Aren't you going to school?" He asked.

Eleanor and Rhett stare at themselves before rushing to carry their bags.

" Bye!!" They chorused and left the house.

" Why isn't he here yet?" Pierce wondered aloud, checking her phone for the time.

She was still around the corner of their street.

" I woke up before you" Rhett said to Eleanor.

" I did. You were still snoring when I've already bathed and dressed for school" Eleanor snapped at him.

" You and I know that's a lie. I woke up before you, I even wrote it down" he opened his bag and brought out a little jotter.

" See? I woke up before you" he smiled triumphantly.

" Whatever" Eleanor rolls her eyes.

" Isn't that Pierce?" Rhett asked.

They both went to join Pierce.

" You're still here? I thought you said you were late for school" Eleanor said

" Mind your business and go to your school" Pierce snapped.

" She's waiting for her Prince Charming,, you know today is their two years anniversary" Rhett said and Pierce glanced at him.

" Right, I'm waiting for him, so what? Don't you dare tell mom and dad" she warned.

Eleanor raised her palm towards her.

" You know the deal" she smiled cutely.

Pierce shook her head, her little sis is something else.

Pierce West, a highschool student, She's 18 years old. Eleanor and Rhett are both 12 years old respectively, they're twins.

" Here. Are you satisfied now?" Peirce asked after giving her the money.

" Sure, goodbye" she waved and left giggling to herself.

" What about me? Where's mine?" Rhett asked.

" Go and collect yours from Eleanor," Pierce replied.

" Eleanor, don't you dare take it alone,,, it's for the both of us" Rhett yelled after Eleanor.

Pierce sighs.

" Has he forgotten already?" She asked herself.

" He dare not" she mumbled assuringly to herself, but she knew she wasn't sure of that.

He had been acting weirdly for like two days now, he doesn't give her his attention anymore. He's always on a call and whenever he does, he's found talking silently.

" I won't talk to him when I get to school" She said to herself and went to school.

She was tired of waiting.

Starlight High**

Peirce's eyes wandered around the class in search of Louis but he wasn't there.

" Today's our anniversary, he shouldn't dare do this," she said to herself.

She walked to her seat and her eyes subconsciously went to his seat to check if his bag was there. She sighs sadly when she finds none.

" Hey babe" Charlotte said beside her. She's her best friend.

" Are you worried about Louis?" She asked.

" Yes. He promised to pick me up today, but he didn't. He isn't at school either" she replied.

" He might have slept off, is that why you're sulking?" She laughed at her.

Peirce ignores her and places her head on the locker.

A hand tapped her and she raised her head.

" Charlotte, I'm not in the mood for jokes right..." She trailed off when she realized she wasn't talking to Charlotte but her boyfriend, Louis.

" Louis!" She called happily as she accessed him.

His hair was a little bit wet which signifies he just had his bath not quite long.

" Pumpkin, I'm sorry" Louis said apologetically.

" Don't talk to me" she snapped at him.

She placed her head on the locker back.

" Pumpkin" Louis teased as he bent towards her, rubbing his wet hair on her cheeks.

" Stop doing that and don't call me Pumpkin" she snapped.

She raised her head to look at him but suddenly regrets it. His face was too hot to resist.

" I'm sorry, okay? Something came up that's why" he said.

" Are you forgetting something?" Pierce asked, staring at him.

" What? Is something happening today?" Louis asked clueless of what she was talking about.

" Really?" Pierce asked in disbelief. Did he just forget today's two year anniversary?

" What?"

" Nevermind" she went out of the class in anger.

Louis followed her immediately.

" Pumpkin, wait!" He called after her.

He caught her hand and she turned to face him in anger.

" Let go of me" she spoke slowly. She was trying to control her anger.

" You should at least tell me what I did wrong for you to be suddenly angry at me," he said.

" You've been acting weirdly lately, you hardly have time for me. You even asked me to wait for you today that you'd pick me up, but you never showed up! I can't believe you forgot today is our anniversary,, seems I'm not that important to you like I thought" she yells. She was so hurt.

Louis suddenly bursts into laughter, holding his stomach in the process.

" You're laughing?" Pierce scoffed.

Louis sobers up immediately.

" Pumpkin, that was a prank. How could I forget something as precious as that? I was only teasing you,, geez, you get angry so easily" Louis said, trying hard not to laugh again.

Pierce kicked him on his face and the smile wiped off from his face completely.

" Babe!" He touched his cheeks.

" Don't you joke with something like that again" she warned with a serious face. Louis knew he went too far at that moment.

" I'm sorry," he muttered.

" Then why didn't you pick me up like you promised?" She asked, folding her arms across her chest.

" I was busy, don't ask me why. It's a surprise" he winked at her and she rolled her eyes.

" Just do as you please" she muttered and walked back to the class.

" Her temper is so cute" Louis mumbled, smiling foolishly to himself.

He touched his cheeks and groaned. It was beginning to get red.

" I got a crazy girl as my girlfriend," he muttered, going to join her in the class.

" Where's this place?" Pierce asked Louis. School was over and Louis took her out saying it was a surprise

They were at a penthouse. The house was so big

" It's my place, my grandmother gifted this to me before she passed away," he replied.

" Whoa! Never knew my boyfriend is rich like this" Pierce said looking at the house in awe.

" Now you know" he said and they both chuckled.

" There's a waterfall at that side, let's go. I need to show you something"

He dragged her along with him and took her to the back of the house.

" Wow! Yeopeuda (it's pretty)" she gushed looking around in excitement.

" Do you like it?" Louis asked.

" Jo a hae yo ( I like it)" she replied and he grinned.

Louis took his hand to his pocket and brought out a box. He opened it and Pierce gasped when she saw a shiny necklace.

" I want you to know that I love you. I know we're both still young, but I want to spend the rest of my life with you" he brought out the necklace from the box and wore it around her neck.

He brought his out from his neck and Pierce smiled.

Her name was carved on the necklace while his name was on hers. There is a locker there, she opened it and saw their pictures on the necklace.

" Wherever we go, I want to always remember you, I want to love you till the end of my life. Happy two years anniversary to us, Pumpkin" he said and she smiled cutely at him.

" Why are you so cheesy today?" She asked.

" Like seriously? Is this all you have to say? Do you know how long I've been practicing what to say today?" He asked in disbelief.

Peirce giggled before she tiptoed and pecked his lips.

" You're so sweet" she said and he blushed.

His eyes suddenly turned misty.

" I love you so much, Pierce," he whispers.

" I love you too" she replied and he kissed her briefly.

" Forever?" He asked.

" Forever" she replied and they both hugged each other with a contented smile on their face.

PARIS***

" It's so nice to be partners with you," Mr. West said to Mr. Gonzales.

" Same here. But there's a condition" Mr. Gonzales said.

Mr. West stares at him curiously.

" What is it? Tell me, I'll gladly do it"

" Well, I have a son, he met your daughter once and he seems to be interested in her. Why don't we match them together?" Mr. Gonzales said and Mrs. West stares at him

" Will that make us partners?" Mr. West asked.

" Sure, if you make that possible. Besides, my son is a good guy" Mr. Gonzales said.

" Fine, it's done. It's not a big deal" Mr. West agreed and his wife stared at him in shock.
