"I'm so fucking mad at you right now," he says between kisses, "but you look so sexy when you're angry." "I don't think this will improve things between us," I mumble. "I believe it will," he says, smirking. "You have no idea what I'm capable of doing to your body when I'm angry." "Stop talking and show me," I say. Jasmine Williams has just landed the best job of her life as Joseph's personal assistant. That means she has to be with him around the clock, and anything can happen. Having an Affair With The Assistant is an age gap

Chapter 1 FIRST DAY

Prologue

I relax on my couch and switch on the television. I take a sip from my glass of red wine after gently swirling it around. My phone loudly rings, and I turn to see my old friend Chad calling. I set my glass down and responded.

"Hey Jas, do you still hate your current job?" he exclaims.

"Yes, why do you inquire?" I sigh.

"I have a better job for you; I'll tell you all about it on Monday." "She's dressed nicely," Chad says. "Bye," he says as he hangs up the phone, leaving me to wonder what job he managed to get me.

Present Day

I patiently wait for Chad in his small, elegant office. I sigh and straighten my pencil skirt for the zillionth time.

"Sorry for being late; you look nice," Chad says as he walks in.

"You told me to dress nicely," I responded.

"I guess I meant to to wear something comfortable," he says. "Anyway, I know you're dying to know what this job is," I say as he settles into his dark blue chair.

"I know you're very charismatic, organized, and a little bossy," he says, "so I think you'd be a perfect personal assistant for my client."

"Who is your client?" I inquire.

"How's it going, Chad?" I turned around to see who was at the door, and it was.... I had no idea who he was.

"Perfect timing, Joseph; this is your new assistant," Chad says.

"I haven't agreed to anything," I clarify.

"Come on, Jasmine, you're perfect for this; it'll be worth your while." I shift in my seat, debating whether I should take this new job or stick with the one I despise so much.

"I promise I don't bite," Joseph says, smiling.

"Hmmm, how about I go home, change into something more comfortable, and run today?" "If I like it, I'll take the job," I say as I stand up and pull my skirt down a little.

"See you in thirty," I say as I walk away.

"She's something else," Joseph observes. "I like her."

"I had a feeling you would," Chad says.

After an hour,

I arrived a little early, and Chad handed me some paperwork and schedules to complete. I type quickly on my laptop's keyboard and color-coded the schedule to make it easier to read.

"Is that Jasmine?"

"When I look up, I see Joseph standing in front of the desk, smiling.

"Yeah. "Chad hasn't really told me who you are, but you appear to be a busy man," I say.

"I'm a performer. So, you know, "He stutters."

"I've heard a couple of your songs on the radio. You're fantastic, "I congratulate you.

"Thank you very much. "I hope you accept the position," Joseph says. "I'm starting to like you."

"Sorta?" I ask, jokingly.

He chuckles, "Well, not really, but you get what I mean."

"And you-"

"There you are, Joseph!" exclaims a woman.

She enters my small office and tightly embraces Joseph.

"Hey baby, what are you doing here?" he exclaims with delight.

"I was wondering if you had time for me today," she says shyly.

"Can you please give me a minute to finish up here?"

"Who's that?" she asks quietly.

"Jasmine, this is my girlfriend, Julia." "Jules, this is Jasmine," Joseph says as he introduces us, and Julia waves.

"I'll meet you by the car," Julia says once more. "We'll talk on the way home," Julia says as she walks out of the office, almost agitated.

"I'm sorry about her; she just gets a little insecure," Joseph says. "I'll see you later," he says as he sprints after his girlfriend, calling her name several times. I resume my work and hope that there will be no problems in the future if I accept this position.

Joseph's pov

"Jules, we talked about it; you can't be acting like this when other women are around; I've never cheated on you," I tell her.

"I know, but why would you hire someone like her?" Julia wonders.

"Let's not forget about your blunder," I murmur.

For God's sake, she argues, "Joseph, that was four years ago."

You cheated on me with my best friend, and we've been together for six years.

"And I've apologized relentlessly since then!" Julia sighs and slumps against the passenger seat, upset. She sniffles and quickly wipes away her tears, so I don't see them.

"I'm sorry; I shouldn't bring it up every time we get into it." "Would you like me to take you out somewhere special?"

"I'd do it," Julia says calmly.
