After long months of reclusion in Russia, Dario Dantes is back in New York and has only one goal. To get revenge on Saul Mortham, the man with whom his ex-fiancée had an affair before their marriage. Destroyed by his subsequent accident, Dario seeks revenge by robbing him of his small fortune in a poker game at a famous casino. But his plans change when, the night before, Dario finds his young wife in her wedding dress, hiding in the bathroom and desperately begging him to give her something he didn't expect. Soon, Dario understands that he does not want only to ruin Saul Morthman... He wants much more.

Chapter 1 Episode 1

It was 11 p.m., the party did not keep all its promises of the day before. Dario was going around the villa, a glass of champagne in the hand. He took the time to visualize his opponent with a determination that he hid through some smiles. Nobody seemed to recognize him and that was what he wanted. For a long time,

Dario had been away from New York and far from his country of origin. He had taken refuge in Russia, far from the media and the press.

His family's businesses were scattered all over the country and yet his face went unnoticed among the crowd of guests. A sign

that his distance had paid off. As the evening wore on, Dario continued to observe this man in the distance already drunk, a little son of his daddy, slamming thousands without thinking. He had not more than twenty-five years.

Knowing that his ex-fiancée had cheated on him with this bum gave him a bitter taste in his throat. And now Saul Morthman was married. While he was desperately trying to survive the betrayal and the accident that could have cost him his life. When he looked around the room, Dario realized that he had missed nothing of what he saw.

had missed.

As sophisticated as they were, the

women were totally indifferent to him. He knew now what they were looking for.

- A drink?

The feline and exaggerated voice on his right reminded him how stupid he had been earlier.

He looked at this woman who was the fifth to come to him and expressed his disgust by

distorting his mouth.

- I'll pass...

His coldness made her step back.

She readjusted her dress so as not to lose face and turned around.

Dario approached Saul sitting with his friends as pathetic as he was and a woman was sliding her hands on his shoulders.

The first question he asked himself was where was his wife? So far he hadn't seen her. Was she turning a blind eye to his infidelities from the start or was she also flirting with one of the men present ?

Dario walked nonchalantly around them with his fist clenched in his pants pocket. He clenched his jaws and held back from beating him to death. When he took his eyes off him, Dario caught a glimpse of a white-clad figure running down the hallway. With slightly furrowed eyebrows, he

slightly wrinkled, he left the room to follow the mysterious woman of Saul Morthman.

He entered the hallway and went down it, then the deafening

deafening noise of the recention became

almost silent, replaced by perceptible cries coming from a room just to his left. Dario

gently pushed the door open and poked his head through the frame to see the bride prostrate along the bathroom wall, her eyes staring into space.

Her dress was not exceptional, it had nothing to envy to all those that could be seen in the windows of luxury stores. And the young woman who wore it was just as desperate as the crumpled fabric.

Yet she was a delicate beauty. Her fleshy lips were perfectly made up, her face of a perfect oval framed by her golden horses was immaculate with tears. Her amber eyes

amber that he caught sight of reflected a growing anxiety. He passed his eyes on her naked shoulders and on the smoothness of her milky neck, then on her chest which did not cease to raise with each one of his brutal breaths.

Dario entered completely in the bathroom and attracted her attention. She raised the head by startling. When her amber eyes met his, Dario found there a gleam of concern.

- Is it normal for a bride to cry on her wedding day? Dario asked, unable to hide the coldness in his voice.

She stood up and wiped her face.

- Oh I cry of joy. Murmured this one while turning over to hide.

turning around to hide.

The sweetness of her voice struck Dario and her lie

lie encouraged him to come closer.

- You lie...

She turned around and grabbed the ugly petticoat of her dress.

- You are right, I do not cry of joy.

Veiled by a glance filled with sadness, she raised her eyes to look at him.

- Why? Dario asked, coming closer.

Her mouth remained closed, she stared at him, Dario felt her perfume with the fruity scents intoxicate his sense of smell.

He pressed it of the glance but nothing managed to leave its trembling lips. Her hairstyle had no more value as if she had fought against herself. He didn't know her and he wasn't used to

used to feel small pinches. But the lost look in her eyes pained him.

Then she approached with awkwardness and tried to put herself at his height to kiss him.

Dario seized her by the shoulders to stop her and although her face of angel was infinitely attractive Dario refused to believe that behind, hides a temptress.

- You are married! Dario commented in a harsh voice.

- I...

She seemed turned off and clung to her jacket.

- Act like one. He added as he walked away.

- No! You do not understand! She exclaimed, holding him by the arm.

Dario lowered the head to twist its glance in his.

- Understand what? He asked curtly.

She swallowed and stared at his jacket, breathing hard.

- Please take it.

Dario frowned.

- Take what?

- My virginity...

Dario recoiled under the shock wave that hit him. She refused to leave his arm and her eyes became begging.

- I do not want that it is... him who has it. She resumed with disgust.

- Please I'm sure that behind this cold look you are sensitive to this kind of thing unlike him!

The despair that was reflected in his eyes

The despair reflected in her eyes made him feel a second twinge of sorrow. He had never been confronted with such a situation and such a request. The fact that she confided in him the intimate secret of her body made him feel a surge of visceral desire that disgusted him. But when she went up her petticoat in last act of despair, Dario stopped her by taking her wrist.

She raised her head.

- You are much better than that. Dario whispered.

Little by little, the young woman became aware of what she had just done. She blushed, the corner of her lip began to tremble and then she suddenly stepped back with one hand over her mouth.

- Oh my God, I am .... sorry, I do not know what took me I..

The panic won her, Dario tried to approach but she stopped him.

- No! Especially not!

She turned on herself in search of the

exit.

- I am sincerely sorry, I did not mean what I said! Insisted she without looking at him.

She slipped between him and the door and left the room almost running. Dario remained motionless for a moment and then went out in his turn to try to understand.

Because visibly, this marriage hid many secrets

secrets, especially about the circumstances.

The heart beating with great disordered blows, Annabella took refuge in one of the rooms and closed the door with key to pour her shame with the shelter of the glance

of the look of the stranger who had followed her.
